Unfortunately it was actually hard to see at night through the van windows, at times we would get out and could see better, but even still I think a daytime tour would actually be a better option. The driver offered commentary and historical facts but was not the most engaging, compared to many other tours I’ve been on. So, not the worst, but wasn’t our favourite.

The driver was horrible, not friendly and didn’t answer many questions. With many streets being closed and unable to see many of the items on this tour. I should’ve been notified to make the decision to cancel. Instead the driver was crude and lacked communication skills

Road closures was due to US Army 250th anniversary hence some of the closures.

I never got to have the experience. The tour was overbooked so my family and I were not able to go and unfortunately I did not see the email in time (we're on vacation not constantly checking emails) so we headed to the Grand Hyatt anticipating a nice tour and instead we had gone there for nothing.

The start of the tour was awkward. The driver was a bit short with us and insistent we call Joe and text him our tuckers so he knew we paid. Seemed a bit weird and was definitely awkward to say the least. The tour itself was good and the driver was knowledgeable but just his it began and how weird we all felt at the start was not great. Obviously Viator subbed this out and the communication between them and the fellow who actually provided the tour wS lacking.

We didn't enjoy the driver, Bobby pushing his political views down our throats. We were there to have fun and enjoy ourselves.... not to hear his views. He was super loud and cussed ....we had kids with us! Extremely unhappy. Would not do this again!

The NATO summit was in town hence a lot of streets and road was closed, we communicated with you so your party could join the rest of the group at the closest location which you turned down. As a result we are authorizing a 50% refund.

The tour bus never picked us up at out pick up location. I contacted the operator, they never responded. I contacted Viator and the representative tried to contact the operator and didn't get a response. We took a $35 Uber down to the meeting location, so we were just stuck there. The representative said I would receive a full refund and an email confirmation of the refund, but I have not received that yet. Once we are done with our traveling today I will be contacting Viator once again about my refund.

We made certain on the inclusions and highlights page that PKUP is only for a party of 3-or more and that Customers MUST CALL to be picked up and that customers must be at one of the 4-selected locations . The customer never meet any of the requirements.REFUND REQUEST will not be honored.

Great host, very informative and funny. We had issues with the van they where using, the back A/C was not working and we had to change vehicles. We were seated in the front and heared the conversation and our host had to be strong and told their bus they would not go forward with the bus due to the heat in the back. We got relocated to a bus but lost time in our tour and couldnt get out in some of the stops. Kuddos to our jost for putting their foot down and making the best of it for us.

Our driver Bob was awesone. Our pickup spot was missed somehow, but we were met by another vehicle that took us to the tour bus. Viewing the monuments at night was amazing and Bob very insightful.

I've been on 3 or 4 nighttime DC tours before and this was not good in comparison. Booked online via Viator website the day of but the driver didn't have our reservation when we arrived to begin several hours later, nor did he have a few others. Ended up overbooked and crowded into a shuttle van. Windows were dirty so couldn't take pictures as we drove by the sights. The driver just made his own driving rules, going through red lights at times or not going on green and waving between the lanes. He was late getting back on at our first stop so we were behind the rest of the trip, and didn't get to stop at the WWII Memorial like we were supposed to.

The memorials are just as inspiring at night and seemingly more calm & peaceful with fewer crowds. The tour guide was knowledgeable and kept everything light, even when driving around the city between tour stops. We learned some new DC trivia and had a great evening.
The tour started 30 minutes late while we waited for and then drove to pick up latecomers who were also at the wrong meeting point. There were many in the tour, including me, that did not appreciate delaying the tour (and 19 others) for the few who could not follow the explicit directions provided when booking. I do not know if it was because of the late start, but the tour did not include the published itinerary #2 Vietnam Veteran's Memorial and #3 Korean War Memorial. We ended up leaving the tour at the Lincoln Memorial stop so we could see the rest of the memorials in the area.

Simon was very rude, loud & crude to us. However, the tour was good & he was an expert driver getting us close to the curb & attractions. I didn't like him but I respected him. And, he was kind enough to drop us off at the hotel rather than the meeting place.

We enjoyed seeing the sights. Bus was small and a bit cramped. Windows could have been cleaner. Also temperature in the bus was a bit warm for most of the tour. Bus driver gave enlightening historical information and even added a few clever jokes. He was clearly not a Donald Trump fan and said a few derogatory comments about Trump and his administration. I didn’t enjoy that.

I have to say that I look at reviews before I book and noticed someone else had the same complaint that I .about to share and the person was assured the tour guide was let go because the behavior was not tolerated and within two minutes of being in the car, I knew this was not true. Bobby immediately made the cowboy bit@#$ joke. I sent my fiance a text and mentioned the review I had read as I'm not confrontational. Though he was knowledged on a lot of history, his focus was more on just the black history of the town. He asked who was the king of presidents and my fiance said George Washington, and he directed the question to me and I just said I didn't know and he said Martin Luther King Jr. He was indeed an amazing part of history and the abolishment of slavery....but never a president. If you are Republican (which I am) and not looking for a tour of primarily the black history of the town, choose another tour. I can do without the cussing. Just because I'm an adult doesn't mean I want to hear it. And I am very disappointed to have realized the resolution of the problem from the previous complaint was a lie. Paid for a thirty minute tour and before we left the hotel where you start he said we won't be out that long. Definitely didn't make me feel great before we even left the parking lot.

Bobby was a good historian but was rude at times (eg. called cowboys fans cowbi***es and referred to event goers as faggots). Rude comments aside, the historical narrative was really well done.

Tundae was excellent! We hit all the major monuments, but it did not feel rushed or that we missed anything because we stayed any one place too long. He was informative and funny - great mix for the adults and kids. He was very accommodating due to the cold weather and always let us know where a bathroom would be available. We really appreciated his guidance and introduction to the city. Would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone.
Also the tour van was spacious, new and clean.
