Meet your guide at the corner of 1st St NE & Constitution Ave NE, on the sidewalk outside the Reserve Officers Association building (private building; do not enter). We cannot accommodate guests who arrive more than 15 minutes late. There are no restrooms until the second hour of the tour.

The tour ends at the US Capitol Visitor Center where you will be given tickets to take the docent-led tour inside the Capitol Building. The docent-led tour is about 50 minutes and is included in the 3 hour length of the tour.

Vicky was very knowledgeable. Did a great job of including everyone. Tour was very informative. Vicky was a great tour guide and very accommodating. Highly recommend.

Outstanding tour. Becca was a brilliant tour guide with incredible knowledge. She brought the Capital to life with her descriptions of events and surroundings. We would absolutely recommend this tour and are thankful we had Becca as our super knowledgeable and super friendly guide.

I was upset that when I showed Katherine my senate passes to ask her what we should do she never returned them to me or my husband

This is inaccurate. You showed them to Katherine in the Library of Congress and she handed them back to you immediately saying that they were faded and worn and might not be accepted so she got the entire group House Gallery passes to be used instead. There was an entire hour left of the tour after you talked about them so you would have been able to discuss with her about getting then back even if she had forgotten to give them to you; not to mention having her phone number as well as the office phone number and we would have been able to bring them over.
The tour was flawless and its a small group.. everything was run smoothly and on time. Vicky our guide was awesome ! Highly recommend.

Exceptional tour guide Trevor… really awesome. Capitol Hill and Library Congress and The Supreme Court… historical not political DC tour. A plethora of educational information. I highly recommend this tour. 10 out of 10. You won’t regret.

Trevor was a great tour guide. He provided a lot of information about the Capitol, the Supreme Court building, and the Library of Congress. He also helped us significantly navigate the entry lines to both buildings. The lunch recommendation post-tour was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Trevor was the perfect tour guide. He has a terrific sense of humor. Trevor gave us an expansive history lesson in such a fun way. We learned about the Capitol building and workings of congress. There was a brief talk in front of the Supreme Court building. We got to see the inside of the library of congress- got a feel for it but this is not meant to be an exhaustive tour of the library. We ended at the Capitol. Trevor gave us a nice introduction and then handed us off to a terrific Capitol tour guide, Rochelle. It was perfect- not too much for those who don’t want to get bogged down with too many facts. Trevor recommended more things we could see on our own. It was a great afternoon!

Although our Capitol Hill tour was shortened by King Charles III visit ( we missed the Statuary Room) Trevor adapted the tour seamlessly by enhancing our tour of the Visitor Center and Library of Congress. He is a wealth of knowledge. We got to see the Guttenberg Bible and an original map of the world, the first one including the Americas. Truly fascinating and worth the trip. If your main goal is to see more of the Capitol, then check the news before you book, but we were not disappointed and would recommend DC on Foot

Becca was a great tour guide! Be prepared to wait on security lines as there is no avoiding those at all.
Tour included access to Library of Congress and US Capitol Building.

Due to various reasons you may not be able to see all areas of the Capitol Hill building. We were lucky enough to see the Senate in session. Interesting process to see live.

Due to some unexpected weather and museum closures our planned itinerary became askew. Trying to find a last minute alternative was proving difficult because everything seemed to be booked up, so I purchased this tour last minute. So glad we did! Trying to see the Library of Congress, including the reading room plus the Capital would take a lot more time if I was trying to do it on my own. Our guide, Vicky knew exactly how to maximize our time to see the most things. Even as we stood inline she was pointing out points of interest. Could I have done this on my own- no because all the free tickets had been allocated, but even if I had been able to secure tickets, it would’ve taken us twice as long because I wouldn’t have known when to stand in line and what to do once I got inside. So thankful for Vicky’s guidance.
