Had a great time. The host, James was very charismatic and gave a very good perspective of the areas history. All while driving a bus down hairpin turns. The Muir Forest was absolutely stunning and Sausalito is a very charming and attractive town. Highly recommend this tour if you are staying in San Francisco

It's a nice stop in Muir Woods. I could live without Sausalito. They stop there just so you'll spend some money but it's not long enough for a meal.

It was a little confusing regarding the check-in, with different people telling me different instructions. The tour Tamia Woods was wonderful, although the narration left a lot to be desired.

Safe travels. Nice driver. Kind staff and follow up . Only negative is BUS WAS VERY HOT. A/C did not work. Very important to have air working!!!!!

Disappointed because in Sausalito we couldn't get off the bus to go to the pier and have an ice cream. We had to watch from the bus

Really enjoyed this. Muir Woods is so beautiful and peaceful. The stop at the GG Bridge was great. And the tour guide was very interesting. Some confusion with our ticket but it was solved quickly.

This tour line isn’t operating and the tour doesn’t exist. Do not book. Wasted my time and made me think I was going on a tour, didn’t book a different Muir Woods trip, showed up at departure site and no one there. Super shady and I am pissed. Would give zero to negative stars if possible. No Muir Woods for me this time.

Great tour! Highly recommend taking this tour vs. trying to drive yourself. After gas, tolls, parking headaches, etc. it's better to sit back and relax taking in the amazing views! Ask for Jimmy, super guy and loves his city! Very knowledgeable and just the nicest guy!

The tour guide was very informative. The Muir Woods site was under construction therefore the tour was incomplete. Since we never visited the site we were ignorant to what it’s full capacity can present. I think you could have been more transparent about this adventure. I wouldn’t spend $150 again knowing that your tour is under construction.

The address of pick up is wrong on the voucher. The office was moved 2 months before but the address is still old on the voucher. We reached tour operator office 20 minutes the scheduled time but there was no one and the office is closed. The we called and they said we moved 2 months before and informed Viator but VIATOR still not updated the address on the voucher. It was very inconvenient to walk back in burry to catch the bus. VIATOR please change the address and inform your customers.

SUPER BAD, NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL. Call The day before and wait for over one hour, but still no answer. VIATOR SWITCHED our reservation to a different tour company and time from 9am to 11am without any calls and emails notifications. Our family of 7 with kids have to pay additional Uber from Union Square (SF) to Fishermen Wharf. Not one apology from them. It messed up out plans for that day of scheduling for other activities. VERY TERRIBLE AND WILL NOT USE VIATOR AGAIN.

The amazing beauty of nature surrounds you at Muir Woods...while the power of man's invention is apparent as you cross the golden gate bridge! The ONLY hiccup with this trip was with Viator itself. You see, they sub contract out to other companies, in this case, City Sightseeing. When we got to their office, they said they were not running the tour this day...imagine my surprise. One of the gals at the counter just blamed Viator and did nothing...the other quickly called Grey Lines, who were running the same tour. We took a frantic cab ride back across town to meet that bus. THANK YOU GREY LINES for being so nice to fix this mistake!!! They saved the day...the attraction was terrific. The service by Viator and City Sightseeing very sketchy.

The tour to the Golden gate Bridge and redwood forest was great. The only problem with that as far as I got cause when I came out of the forest I noticed that my bus was no longer there it had left and never came back so I was just trying to find my way back to San Francisco.

Our tour guide was fantastic. He was very informative about the area leading to as well as the woods themselves. These woods are so pristine, gorgeous, awe inspiring, massive and serine. We had about 2 hours to walk around and take pictures and take in the beauty. We left the woods and then drove through Sausalito which is both beautiful and a shoppers paradise. We did not get off the bus as we had another engagement. Highly recommend this excursion.

I highly recommend going to Muir Woods when in San Francisco it is a chance to see trees that lived in the time of Christ and through the total history of America.

They overbook the 9am bus and you are not guaranteed a seat to Muir Woods. If you do not get a seat, you will not get to the woods until about 1pm. The staff were all very nice, but you get the sense that this happens every day, and they were pretty skilled at passing the buck and misleading people to just keep things calm.
The woods are amazing, but be warned that this tour is misleading.

When i booked this tour i thought that the entry fee to muir woods would be included. Really it was an expensive bus trip.. wouldn't do this tour again . Muir woods was great though.

The tour was good, my only complaint would be the amount of time between drop off and pick up. I was picked up in Sausalito at 12pm and we arrived in Muir Woods 1245, the next scheduled pick up wasn't until 4pm in Muir Woods. Over 3 hours!! I ended up taking the public bus back to Sausalito. :(

Muir Woods is awesome, tranquil and majestic. The hop-on hop-off bus was very convenient. The drive to/from the woods was a bit harrowing... the roads are narrow, twisty and challenging so I was thankful someone else was doing the driving.
Sausalito is very cute with great restaurants and shops.

We took this tour for the main point of getting to Muir Woods and back and it did fulfill that goal. However, it was very hit and miss with quality and poor directions for boarding the bus. We thankfully scouted out the bus pick up location the day before our tour. The address they provide had nothing there that indicated it was the loading point for the tour. While we were standing there looking for a sign a bus pulled up and we were able to confirm the pick-up point with the driver. We returned early the next day and found that we couldnt use the confirmation I had printed outwe had to go to building a block away and have tickets printed. Thankfully we were early. The bus we had was not a double decker. It was partially under cover and partly open. The bus was ancient and in very poor condition. You couldnt even sit on some of the seats they were in such disrepair. Our driver was somewhat informative but his presentation was a bit maniacal and very unprofessional. He did provide us with a very good tip about picking up the Hyde/Powell cable car one block up on North Point instead of waiting in line at the turn around. We followed that advice and were able to get right on without waiting. The tour description included a phot stop at the Palace of Fine Arts. He never stopped. We were picked up promptly for the return trip which took us to Sausalito. Our driver said a double decker bus would be picking us up in Sausalito to take us back to SF. He said that they were the only company that was allowed to have double deckers in Sausalito so it would be easy to spot. This was not the case as another companys double decker showed up almost immediately. When we finally boarded the correct double decker back to SF on a very nice bus we had the worst driver ever. He didnt provide any information on SF spending his time talking about his mother, Taco Bell and singing songs. I would not recommend this tour service in San Francisco at all.

Trip to Muir woods was very good. Excellent tour guide. Transfer to Sausalito fine. Then bus pickup to Fisherman's Wharf buses were not on time then discovered that the bus did not go directly to Fisherman's wharf but dropped us off on the south side of Golden gate bridge. Had to catch another bus that took us back to the north side of the bridge then wound its way slowly back to fisherman's wharf in heavy late afternoon traffic. The Company had an poor and unreliable transportation system for this trip. 2hours late getting back. Very frustrating. ,would not do this again or have anything to do with this company's tours again.
