Informative and great fun! Orla was a great guide, taking us to sights and viewpoints. Covered all safety and a great ride over the bridge and down to Sausalito. We chose to drop off bikes and took the ferry back which was fabulous. Great tour, highly recommend. We chose electric bikes with the gel saddle, well worth it. Friendly staff too!

Eli was our guide and he was fantastic. The bikes are very high end and powerful, very useful on the steep hills. Made stops at interesting locations and had awesome views approaching and crossing bridge. I would highly recommend and do it again.

Yes, please come join us again anytime. Glad you enjoyed your tour with Eli!
This was AWESOME! I highly recommend this tour. The views were amazing and the history was so interesting. The bikes were easy to use and I always felt safe. There were several brief stops for photos and a bathroom stop. The ride over the GG bridge was an experience of a lifetime. I recommend taking the bikes back on the ferry to Pier 39. I highly recommend this tour.

Wow, thank you! We love your great recommendation.
Thanks to this tour I got to see a side of SF that I would've never explored by myself. The weather gods were very kind on my day. The blue sky, even deep blue waters, lush green parks and a cool breeze.. and soaking it all in a bike was a truly great experience.
Loved the energy of my host and guide aka the Chilean guy!
I would take the tour again on my next visit!

Was an AMAZING TOUR!
Riding over the Golden Gate Bridge was exhilarating!
The guides Eli and Adelin were engaging and informative.
We felt safe the entire tour.
E-Bicycles from Blazing Saddles were powerful and made the climbs effortless.

Thanks for your AMAZING REVIEW! Haha. Come back and visit anytime!
We did an e-bike tour of the Golden Gate Bridge and rode over to Sausalito with Marcus on August 21, 2026. The enterprise was very organized - we got checked in and got our bikes promptly. The bikes were in good shape and were fitted for us. We got good instructions.
Then Marcus took us on a lovely tour. He gave us great details and information. He was very safe and cognizant of his group, ensuring that we were all together and safe crossing streets and the bridge. He guarded the bikes on our short stops. He was kind enough to take photos of everyone in the group so we actually looked like we were doing the activity together! He gave us a great recommendation for lunch. He was a terrific tour guide. I'd highly recommend it!

Erica, thank you so much for your great recommendation! We're thrilled that you enjoyed your tour with Marcus.
The bridge is so windy, bring a jacket!! I recommend taking the ferry back for a scenic view of the city.
Response from Host, Aug 2026
We agree, Eli is great! You definitely get to experience a few of our famous micro-climates on your ride over the Golden Gate Bridge.
All the staff at Blazing Saddles were super friendly! Eli was a fantastic guide! Biking over the
Golden Gate Bridge was awesome!
Highly recommend!

Danielle, so happy you enjoyed your guided tour with Eli. We appreciate your great recommendation.
Excellent way to experience the Marina neighborhood, the Golden Gate Bridge, and Sausalito.
Friendly and attentive staff from start to finish. And Bill is a fantastic guide!
Response from Host, Aug 2026
Blake, glad you got to experience one of Bill's guided tours. We agree, biking is the best way to experience San Francisco!
This was a very fun way to get out and see the city while learning some history and getting fresh air. Bill made it fun!
Response from Host, Aug 2026
Tom, happy to hear that had fun on your tour with Bill!
A do not miss experience! Orly was an amazing guide .. super knowledgeable and did a wonderful job leading the group. The ride across the bridge is exhilarating!
Response from Host, Aug 2026
Thanks for making us a "do not miss experience"!
Need to show up 30min to checkin, sign waiver, and the staff will fit the best fit bicycle or for us the EBike was very helpful for our youngster and his elderly grandparents going up steep climb. Our guide “Orla” was very welcoming and professional on our tour. She stopped at various scenic points while providing valuable insight and history. She kept a watchful eye on all her “chicks” as we navigated thru the San Francisco bridge and fog. Sadly our journey ended in Sausalito town with our fabulous guide Orla. It was helpful of Blazing Saddle to secure a ferry back with your bikes to the pier of Fisherman Wharf. The equipment provided was very reliable which made the journey quite a memorable experience for all.
Response from Host, Aug 2026
Wow, sounds like Orla took great care of you! So glad the whole family had fun.
Excellent guide. Bill was very knowledgeable and friendly. We saw lots of different areas of San Francisco before getting to the bridge. Highlight of our holiday.
This was an incredible tour with Mitch. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and helped to make everyone feel comfortable with their bikes and the ride. It was the best way to experience the Golden Gate Bridge!
Eli was a fantastic guide- loved his personality and openness to chat with everyone. Great pace and the stories and history we learned along the way was one of the reasons I’d go with this tour vs just renting a bike to cross the bridge! Biking across the bridge is right in a few places but overall it was easy to pull off and soak in the views!
We found the e bike ride very comfortable with enough stops to break up the 13km ride. Marcus our guide was a great wealth of information
and was supported by his wife Ursula who was also great value.
My wife and I would highly recommend this tour.
Great tour! Our tour guide (Orla) was informative and engaging, bikes were in great shape, and the route was a great way to see and learn about SF. Only issue was that we had a bigger group and those in the back had trouble hearing through the ear phones (too far away from the guide).
Great way to see a portion of the city and travel the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. Spending a few hours in Sausalito afterwards was spectacular. Having Bill as a tour guide made the trip extra special. He was so knowledgeable and was very informative. .

Alec, so glad you enjoyed your guided tour with Bill. He loves sharing his local SF knowledge with our guests. Plus, that guy is funny, right?
The entire experience from check in to e-bike drop off was a delight. Orla was our guide and I was in a group of nine adults including myself. The Blazing Saddles Staff extremely attentive and professional. The e-bike was solid and it inspired me to invest in one! Orla was attentive, patient and provided terrific insight as we rode up to Sausalito CA.
I decided to ride my e-bike back to home base after grabbing a drink and snack with everyone in Sausalito CA (about 40 ride back). ✨💪🧡

Randy, wow, sounds like you had a blast on your guided e-bike tour with Orla. Thank you!
Marcus and Tolie were fantastic guides! Marcus was very knowledgeable, personable, and engaging. He was very friendly and gave us some great must go to spots in Sausalito and San Francisco. Tolie was so nice and patient with my daughter and me. We are from Chicago where hills are nonexistent, and my daughter was a novice to the steep hills, but he stayed with us in back of the group and gave her some pointers and even fixed her kickstand when she had left it partially up. I really appreciated the professionalism from the fitting of the bikes, tutorial on how to operate the e-bikes, to the plan and what to expect on bridge, to how to handle traffic. I felt well prepared and my daughter felt confident and safe. I would recommend this excursion because it is a really adventure and to listen to Marcus’s recommendations on the ferry. I would urge people to book an early time during on a weekday and to get Marcus and Tolie as guides, they really made the experience something we will not forget!

Lee, you're making us blush! So glad that you and your daughter enjoyed your guided tour with us. We are so lucky to have such amazing tour guides on our team.
If you are looking for an unforgettable way to experience San Francisco, you absolutely have to book this e-bike ride. My 18-year-old son, hubby an I took the tour, and it was hands-down one of the highlights of our time here!
Bill was our guide, and he was fantastic! just a very nice, sweet guy who took us right along on a wonderful, personal ride. He made the entire experience seamless and incredibly fun from start to finish.
The highlight for my son was riding the e-bikes and driving across the Golden Gate Bridge. He absolutely loved it. The views were breathtaking, and the e-bikes made navigating the route effortless and exciting. It can sometimes be tough to find activities that fully engage teenagers, but this was a massive hit. He really, really liked it!
I am so thankful for this trip and the memories we made. Thank you, Bill, for being the best guide we could have asked for! I recommend this 100% to anyone visiting the city.
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Wow, we love it. 5/5 an 100% recommendation! Thanks so much, so glad you enjoyed your tour with Bill.
Orla was great. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. An overall fun experience and the e bike was great.
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Thanks for the great review. E-bikes definitely help with the SF hills. We're thrilled you had a good experience with Orla. Come back anytime!
Pretty fun, definitely go with electric bikes unless you're an experienced biker. There are some steeper uphill portions. It's very windy on the bridge, or it can be! It adds to the chill and can feel quite cold, even in middle of summer, layers are important. The electric bikes allow you to pedal as much or as little as you want.
My bike had very squeaky brakes though which was not great. I also wish we got more information from the tour guide overall, felt a little rushed at times. If you want info it might be better to go with an app/headphone/GPS experience I think. But the guide helps you navigate so there's no question where to go.
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Matthew, I'm glad you enjoyed your tour with us. Although I'm sorry your brakes squeaked on the ride. We would have brought a new bike out to you, just remember next time! We do have single ear headphones that we often use for our guided tours, so thanks for the feedback on that! Come visit us again and we'll knock your socks off, I promise!
Bill was our guide and a joy to take this trip with. Very knowledgeable and passionate about San Francisco
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Bill is the ultimate San Franciscologist and such a character! Having a tour guide who sings Tony Bennett while you pedal across the Golden Gate Bridge is truly a treat. Super rad guy!
It was a perfect trip with my 8-year-old. Incredible scenery, and the guide Marcus was so fun, provided us with many interesting stories, and took care of our every need. Highly recommended!
Response from Host, Jun 2026
That sounds like a fun-packed day! The history of the area combined with beautiful summer weather makes for some awesome bike rides.
Once in a lifetime experience. Did this with our 22 yo son and 17 yo daughter. Beyond amazing experience … our guide was incredible. Saw places around San Fran we didn’t know existed. Electric bike for the win!

Absolute must in SF!!! Our guide Lane was energetic, mindful and helpful and kept us safe and focused. Crossing the Golden Gate Bridge was a surreal experience and highlight of our entire trip! Visiting Sausalito was great, too. We returned to the city by ferry which was also a delightful experience. Thank you!
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Lane has a knack for keeping everyone engaged and safe, and we will be sure to pass your kind words along. Thanks again for leaving such a great review!
It was really good experience. Marcus was our tour guide and he was very knowledgeable about the city and helpful. Thanks guys
Response from Host, Jun 2026
That's awesome, thank you so much.
We were given time to learn the e-bike and get comfortable before taking off. Our guide was terrific and as the old lady of the group I felt she was especially watching out for me. The day we travelled (Friday) all of the foot traffic and bikers were all on the same side of the bridge going in both directions. I did not feel this was safe and I didn’t feel like I could take my time to take everything in. Too much to be watching for as well as controlling my bike. I just wanted off the bridge. That is no fault of the tour but I would definitely ask and pick a different day if you can. We crossed the bridge the next day in a tour to Muir Woods and noticed bikers on one side and walkers on the other. This would have been so much better. We were given recommendations for lunch in Sausalito. The company took our bikes back to the shop for us as we chose to stay and shop. We took the ferry back after 2 hrs of taking in the sights of Sausalito. Great group and great memories.
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Marybeth, that is a great point. It can definitely be a little frustrating at times. During the week, the designated biking sides of the bridge switch throughout the day, mirroring commuter 'bike rush hours.' On the weekends, riders are restricted to the west side of the bridge. The main reason most people prefer crossing on the east side with the pedestrians is to catch those beautiful views of the city. We're thrilled you enjoyed the rest of the tour. Thanks for the review!
Eli was a FANTASTIC guide. Riding bikes across the Golden Gate Bridge felt like a once in a life time experience for us. We learned so many cool facts and recommend this excursion to everyone! Our bikes and batteries went strong for the entire 6 hours we had them.
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Thanks Jaque!!! We are constantly upgrading our fleet of electric bikes and are thrilled the e-bikes lasted all day. With the hills in San Francisco, that comes in quite handy! We passed along your kind words to Eli, he was stoked.
