Tour ends in Sausalito; you may bike back to San Francisco or take the ferry back (ferries depart regularly from Sausalito and Tiburon), then return the bike at your leisure. You will also have the option to leave your bikes in Sausalito.
Itinerary
Your bike excursion begins at Fisherman’s Wharf, where you meet your guide and receive a brief safety orientation. Your bike is equipped with a helmet, bell and lock, as well as storage racks and a city map with route recommendations.
Take off on a flat path past the Palace of Fine Arts and Crissy Field. Your guide provides historical background for the sights and neighborhoods as you go, giving rich context to the scenery around you. Travel through the Presidio District, a park and former military base, before making your way to the Golden Gate Bridge.
Soak up the incredible scenery as you pedal across the city’s most prominent landmark. Enjoy the safety of a designated bike path as you look out on panoramic views of the Bay, Alcatraz Island and the sparkling Pacific Ocean on the opposite side of the bridge.
Conclude your tour with a downhill ride into the beloved town of Sausalito. Hop off your bike and explore the area at your own pace, grabbing lunch at a restaurant on the waterfront, perusing the boutiques and galleries or continuing your ride to Tiburon, another popular destination along the Bay.
Enjoy the option of biking back to San Francisco or taking the ferry from either Sausalito or Tiburon (additional expense). Your bike rental is valid for 24 hours to give you plenty of time to explore.

Informative and great fun! Orla was a great guide, taking us to sights and viewpoints. Covered all safety and a great ride over the bridge and down to Sausalito. We chose to drop off bikes and took the ferry back which was fabulous. Great tour, highly recommend. We chose electric bikes with the gel saddle, well worth it. Friendly staff too!

It was an awesome tour with our fabulous guide Orla. She took us to view some of the Star Wars characters that we had wanted see later on our trip so that was a wonderful add on.

I was worried I’d be scared that high up on the bridge plus I’m not fond of driving on bridges (why did I sign up for this activity?🤪) but it was not scary or worrisome at all. So so thankful for that. We could get off to take pix and it was a wonderful experience. Eli was the BEST guide- so nice and informative and patient. Your company is very lucky to have him.

Great way to get some exercise done hile enjoying beautiful Golden Gate views! Eli was very approachable and made the tour entertaining, never left anyone behind, that was worth noting too. I'd say if you don't ride a bike and your cardio isn't the best, might be a good idea to go for the ebike, unless you are up for a cool challenge. I kept the bike and went all the way up to Tiburon and returned the bike until 6 pm after having a fantastic day. Would totally return with these guys again!

This was so much fun! At first I wondered whether $115 was too much, but it was totally worth it. Our tour guide was so fun and sweet. He made sure we were knowledgeable about the areas we passed by. Even though I was 20 minutes late to arrival, they sent someone out to come and lead me to where the rest of the group was. The electric bikes were so helpful and so essential because the journey was long and required a lot of stamina. Some of the twists and turns we made may feel dangerous for anyone who is not very skilled at bike riding or in shape, so I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone who does not feel super confident in their athletic ability. But overall, I’m so glad I did it! If the weather wasn’t as clear I’m not sure if it would have been as beautiful as well. Try to go when it is very sunny!

A local here: The tour was amazing. Riding an E-bike is fun: made the hills easy. I learned history, a new bike trail, new restaurants, etc. The ride across the Golden Gate bridge was such an adrenaline rush! Vedran, our tour guide was excellent: easy to talk with, knowledgeable, made sure all were safe, and he took great pics. I’ll go again with my own bike and w/ a e-bike.

Bill H was our guide. He was very knowledgeable and fantastic! So many stories and fun facts along the way! We saw so many beautiful places that we didn’t know existed. We felt completely safe the whole time. Riding over the bridge was breathtaking but very cold with the wind. This was money well spent! Ask for Bill as your guide for a great experience!

Marcus and Orla were so knowledgeable about the history of San Francisco.
We loved the bike ride, the electric bikes were very easy to use and comfortable.
We felt safe and relaxed the whole time , our guides were so helpful to us, offering to take ohotos and always allowing plenty of time to take photos.
I cannot recommend this trip enough, the highlight of our trip. Cycling over the Golden Gate Bridge was an experience of a lifetime.

Fun bike tour. It was just my 17-year-old son and I and the guide, Reid who was very nice. The bikes were a lot of fun! The only downside is that my son left our bag of Ghirardelli chocolates in the bag on the bike. So sad we ended up coming home without our souvenirs. We definitely recommend the tour, however.

Great experience once you figure out how to operate the e-bike. Crossing the Golden Gate by bike was a highlight of our trip. Orla was a great guide. Plenty of gorgeous stops along the way. Sausalito was quaint town with great food and views across the bay.

Eli and Oscar were fantastic guides! Eli shared tons of great information about the city and kept the tour really interactive. I wish I had more time to book additional tours with them. Having the option to keep the bike for the rest of the day was such a nice bonus. A bike tour is definitely a more up-close and personal way to experience the city compared to a bus. Riding across the Golden Gate Bridge has been on my bucket list for 10 years, and I’m so glad I took the Golden Gate Bridge Guided tour and finally cross it off my list. Truly exhilarating!
