The gallery was amazng didn't know what expect and was really pleasantly impressed. Our guide was so well informed,she made each piece of sculpture come alive for us,and history of the artist was fantastic they each became a personal person to us. Thank you for the grand tour. Touring the grounds after was also an experience not to be missed.

Honestly I really just wanted an audio guide tour so that we could go at our own pace and view the pieces we were most interested in, but could not find one available. Since all 4 of us really wanted to see the Borghese collection of art we sprung for the guided tour. Our guide, Ursus, was very knowledgeable about art in general and the collection specifically. He pointed out features we may have missed and his passion for the collection was evident. The tour with him definitely increased our appreciation for what we saw.

We arrived about 4 minutes late to the tour time, and as such we were told we missed the group because we were "over 15 minutes late". That being said, they still gave us tickets to enter alone, and I must say Im glad they did.
The museum itself is gorgeous, and the paintings and rooms are fun to explore. I actually think going with our tour guide would have hindered the experience. I much preferred going at my own pace and not being rushed.
All in all, I would recommend just getting a ticket to the gallery without a guide.

We would just like to clarify one point for future travelers: guests are asked to arrive before the scheduled tour departure time in order to complete check-in and join the group. In this case, the group had already departed by the time you arrived, which unfortunately meant it was no longer possible to reconnect you with the guide inside the gallery.
We completely understand that some visitors naturally prefer a self-guided experience, and we’re pleased that this format ultimately suited your personal travel style. Thank you as well for acknowledging our team’s effort to still provide you with entry tickets so you could enjoy the gallery.

Tour guide was great! My daughters love Greek/roman mythology. They loved seeing all the stories they read about in the statues and paintings. We ran a little late but were able to meet up. We really appreciate it!

Federico was such an amazing tour guide. Very knowledgeable and engaging. Maybe the best tour guide we had in Italy overall. My husband loves art history and was thoroughly impressed by the collection and our guide. We made it through the entire gallery in two hours but felt like we had the experience and learning to appreciate every room.

A must. Not only is the gallery incredible, but without the guidance I'd probably spend 40 minutes inside and call it a day. But with our guide it was a completely different experience! She's amazing and we had an amazing time!

Victoria was knowledgeable about the works in the Borghese Gallery, and about the history of their creation and accession to the collection. Her background in art history was apparent. She was a very effective leader for this tour and spoke clearly. The gallery is a don't-miss art experience, but be prepared for a fair hike from any Metro station. Consider whether a taxi will mskevthis a better experience for your group, particularly in warm weather.

It was one of my favorite experiences in Rome! The Galleria Borghese is beautiful and our tour guide, Ursus, was so knowledgeable and insightful about the art. The museum has timed entry of two hours, which is the perfect amount of time to see all the art. Overall, a really great experience!

Borghese gallery is great but the reason we purchased the tour was to get a knowledgeable guide but they substituted it with an audio guide last minute.
Even that might have been ok as they refunded that portion of the tour but the audio guide software was completely unworkable. We were forced to visit the art gallery that was very important to us without any kind of guidance.
