Elena was a fantastic tour guide. She was extremely knowledgeable about the art in Villa Borghese museum. I can only assume she was an art history/history major because she was truly an expert. Booking this tour was the best decision. I tried to book too late and was unable to get a tour of that museum my first visit to Rome. I highly recommend this tour. Book very early! You do not want to miss this! This tour had a maximum of 15 people and there were four of us that day.

Federica was an A+ tour guide. As she guided us through the rooms of the Borghese Galleria she explained the art and the historical significance as well the artist’s relevance in history. The tour was great and actually the only way I could get into the Galleria Borghese. The regular tickets are sold out very fast due to the limited number of visitors the garrery can accomodate. Our guide was very knowledgeable and able get us through the tour in 2 hours, so we could see all the masterpieces. The time slot was limited, so we had to be quite fast but we covered everything.
The cafe inside of the museum is quite good, so you could even stay there for a meal, not just a cup of coffee.

My favorite museum! They started us on the top floor with the paintings and we worked our way down building to the Bernini sculptures. It was luck of the day…some groups started down and worked up. That is what I had done in the past.
