Worth the Wait

It was incredibly thorough in terms of the information and history given by our tour guide, Tania. She was INCREDIBLE!!! Because we went after Ash Wednesday, the crowds and line were unseasonably long. However, Tania was so engaging and knowledgeable. She kept us glued to everything she said which made the long wait worth it!!!

Our tour guide, Maria was great. But the instructions to turn in our vouchers at a different location was bogus. The young man waving the flag was nice but not even close to the right color or right name

An excellent tour, but confusing booking arrangement

Great tour. Very interesting and informative with an excellent guide. Quite fast paced and you do need to keep up with the guide, but once you are in St Peter’s you can stay on at leisure after the conclusion of the guided tour and revisit parts of the Basilica. One thing… if you receive an instruction via Viator having booked telling you to collect tickets from Via Di Porta Cavalleggeri in exchange for vouchers… don’t bother! It is incorrect and I wasted time trailing there! Simply go to the meeting point stated in the booking and tell the guide. You will save unnecessary time and effort.

Wow, what an amazing experience. Bigger and more beautiful than you could imagine. Be prepared to battle some crowds and wait in line, but it’s 100% worth it. Our guide, Peter, was great. He was easy to understand and kept us all interested with fascinating details about the basilica. I was so impressed and very glad we did it. Highly recommend this tour!

The whole experience after finding out tour meeting spot was amazing! The day we went our amazing tour guide Sam said it wasn’t too packed - we got lucky. From entrance to exiting the church was breath taking. It really helps having a guide so you know what you are looking at.

Was put with a tour guide (Wen) with a heavy Asian accent. Could not understand anything she said and was not moved to a new guide nor given refund requested. Missed out on once in a lifetime tour.
