Fabulous collection.

Raymond_G, Apr 2026
This museum must be on your Rome “must see” list. The six works of Caravaggio and the Bernini sculptures are well worth the visit.

Pickup was super clear,...

Mara_Z, Apr 2026
Pickup was super clear, close, and easy, and delivered exactly what I was looking for: last minute tickets to the museum without a tour.

There was a Viator...

Elsa_R, Dec 2025
There was a Viator representative outside Borguese Gallery and gave me the entrance tickets right away.

A travel to ancient times.

LUIZMARCIO_M, Nov 2025
I quote Borghese as the most beatiful gallery in Rome. There are others, like Doria Pamphili, but Borghese is located in a nice park, with many trees, beside a Zoo, and you can enjoy other sites during your visit.

Ignore the crap and it's great

Stephen_R, Jul 2025
Very nice museum spoiled by ridiculous modern art hung in the middle of it. The curators ought to know better but apparently don't. Fortunately you can still see the good stuff.

Best art gallery ever

Grace_D, Jun 2025
Amazing beautiful words can describe how stunning this thought provoking gallery was. You see so many famous art that have been referenced throughout time. I recommend the audio guide because it was so engaging and easy to follow. Only bad thing was some art was gone because it was at a different art exhibition but that didn’t bother me as it was so good and such a peaceful place to see

A gem in Rome!

Pankaj_P, Jan 2025
The collection of art is stunning, and the museum’s intimate setting makes it a truly special experience.

Galleria Borghese is one...

Jay_R, Dec 2024
Galleria Borghese is one of my favorite places in Rome, not to be missed if you love art history. Viator made getting tickets easy and quick

To be able to visit Galleria Borghese at short notice

Asuncin_U, Sep 2024
It is impossible to get tickets at the museum. Very good experience with love Rome. Well worth the extra charge

Buy your tickets months in advance to avoid ticket scalpers

Alex_R, Sep 2024
Not going to leave a good review for a scum bag ticket scalper. That’s all this is. All they do is give you a ticket. Why is the gallery sold out for 3 months into the future? Because of ticket scalpers like this who purchase the tickets and sell them for profit without adding any value.

Art appreciation

Kara_T, Aug 2024
We did not have a guide we just did skip the line entry. While I may not have know much about the artists that created the works they were worth seeing. I was able to take my time and enjoy the sculptures, paintings, frescos and all the intricate architecture in the gallery. I highly recommend it if you just want to enjoy seeing the history and beauty of artists long past.

Good way to get last minute tickets to a great museum

Yasemin_B, Jul 2024
Great museum! Good way to get last minute tickets. Easy meet up to pick up ticket and go. No guide. Just like what we wanted. Wonderful park around the museum.

The collection of art is...

Mary_Y, Jul 2024
The collection of art is truly remarkable and worth every penny, but the inflated ticket prices due to reselling practices can be frustrating. Despite this issue, I will continue to visit Borghese whenever I am in Rome because the experience is always unforgettable. I just hope that one day the ticketing process will be more fair and accessible for all art lovers.

Impressive art

Eric_S, Jun 2024
Lots of great paintings and sculptures here. The paintings on the ceiling impressed me the most. With the advanced booking, I was able to quickly go in on time and start the experience. Relatively short though, about 1 hour

Self-guided which was almost better.

Brad_B, Jun 2024
We just got a skip-the-line ticket. We got a €3 audio device. That was enough for us, as we’ve been to the gallery before. About ¼ is closed now for renovation—just like all of Rome in preparation for 2025 jubilee year.

Crazy crowds.

John_B, Jun 2024
Lines in Rome were crazy. It was like New York City on New Year’s Eve. Skip the line tickets saved hours wasted in line.

I was happy I was able to...

Yvette_M, May 2024
I was happy I was able to get a ticket through Viator to the Borghese Gallery, since they were sold out. The only thing I did not. know, is that it would be so late of an entry.

Shame on Viator

Pam_G, May 2024
We made a last minute plan to go to the Gallery and found these tickets at little more than double the price (since the tickets were sold out). Found out when we got there that the museum was being refurbished and only the first floor was open. Ticket prices were reduced accordingly by the museum, but not so by Viator. We paid 4x the price. Buyer beware!

Skip it

Diane_S, May 2024
Hot and overcrowded. Can't even enter with a cross body bag so have to stand in line for 20 minutes. Too many people in gallery. Park is unkept. Not at all what I expected

Not a guided tour

Cynthia_W, May 2024
This was an effective way to get tickets since they were sold out through the gallery. I wish I had acted earlier to get gallery tickets.

Disappointed in the lack of transparency

Tania_S, May 2024
Yes the ground floor collection is beautiful but the 1st floor was closed For ALL this money I was NOT INFORMED about this by the company

Borghese Gallery visit

Thomas_M, May 2024
The gallery was simply stunning. Only the first floor is open due to construction, but everything is packed into that area. It was an excellent trip, and the skip the line ticket guide was easy to find and easy to work with.

Worth the time, not expensive

Pandora_C, May 2024
A beautiful place to admire beautiful art. Very relaxed atmosphere , but you definitely need to reserve a ticket. There were quite a few disappointed people trying for last minute tickets.

No tour only tickets

Lucy_B, Apr 2024
We were the last of our group to arrive a person gave us our tickets but the tour left without us. Since we paid 2.5 times entrance fee this was very disappointing

A beautiful experience!

Serene_F, Apr 2024
It was my daughter's first trip to Rome and our first visit to this gallery. The beauty of each and every room was overwhelming! Goosebumps!! Would definitely recommend anyone going to Rome to visit!

Borghese Gallery Tour

Fadia_F, Apr 2024
the booking was only for tickets, we didn't have a guide and we weren't aware that the gallery was under renovation, we were able only to see the first floor, however, the experience was very good, I came to know that the ticket fees were EUR 8 only and I was charges about EUR 30 each (it was frustrating)

fraud

Scott_R, Apr 2024
I bought a museum ticket in Rome and could not find it in the website, so I missed the appointment and lost my money. There was nothing but an endless cycle of ads. This has been an outrageously bad experience from start to finish, and I regard it as fraud. I will report it as such.

DONT BUY THROUGH VIATOR

Anonymous, Mar 2024
I was charged OVER DOUBLE through viator for the short visit ticket. Not worth it when you can just buy one there for the normal price. I won’t ever use Viator again in my travels, they suck every single time

Great Experience

Tracey_P, Mar 2024
Very quick access to the beautiful museum. The museum was sold out for the day and we were able to book with Viator.

Nice museum

Margaret_P, Mar 2024
This worked great! I picked up the tickets and went to the museum, perfect. As for the museum my only critiques is that they put some paintings too high, and the windows create a glare in some rooms.
