Strangers become friends sharing stories over a delicious meal

Delicious food and wine at every stop. Vincenzo provided excellent commentary that made us appreciate the meal even more. But there was an added bonus. Vincenzo had a warm personal touch. His constant smile and friendly manner spread throughout the group. Even though none of us knew each other, we overcame language barriers and connected as if we were at a family gathering. The sense of friendship over a shared meal was priceless. What a wonderful experience.

Great value & fun experience!!

Freya was an amazing guide through both the wine tasting, and the Trastavere neighborhood. She was knowledgeable and friendly and taught us quite a bit of food/wine history we didn't know before. The value on this tour was great- from the food plate that included truffle-infused products, cured meats, and aged balsamic, to the two wines (multiple glasses of each!), and the gelato to end the tour. We would recommend this tour to anyone coming to Rome- first timers and familiar travellers alike!

An Unforgettable Evening of Food, Wine & Italian Charm

Her: We had a fabulous time this evening! Catia was so friendly and knowledgeable, and helped us with our Italian pronunciation, lol. The food and wine choices were very good, but save room for the gelato because it’s with it! Him: Catia made the whole experience so much fun and entertaining. Her knowledge about the history of the area and Italy as a whole kept both of us involved and she was able to answer any questions we threw her way. The food and wine we had on this tour was also very good but we don’t usually eat a lot so much of it went uneaten because we got full. But, we really enjoyed all of it. To top off the night we were taken to a Gelato place which everyone who takes this tour will thoroughly enjoy. A great end to the evening. All in all we would both highly recommend this tour….especially with Catia as your tour guide.

Michelle is amazing and this was such a fun experience!

Incredible experience. I did this solo on a Sunday night and had a blast- one of the highlights of my Europe trip! Our guide Michelle was hilarious and made it super easy for the group to connect. The bars were all super cool and you get to try lots of drinks (note it is different types of alcohol so pace/plan accordingly.. I learned this the hard way lol). I would absolutely recommend this tour to others.

The vineyard was so beautiful and the views were amazing. We loved the explanations of the differences with the grapes, vines,and wines of the region. Paula was wonderful. Our tour of the village was fun and interesting too. We enjoyed being out of the busy Rome city and in a quieter village.

Truly local wine and food experience

Paola is a generational winemaker in Frascati and is also a certified enologist who assesses wines for DOC/DOCG certification levels. She toured us around her family vineyard and held an incredibly educational, yet friendly and warm, wine tasting. Dominique toured us around the downtown of Frascati and took us to an amazing bakery and then a local family-owned restaurant where our tour group had so much great local food presented to us that we gently rolled out the door at the end. If you are offered the homemade Limoncello, pay the small upcharge fee (5 euro per glass in cash) without question - it is excellent. Paola and Dominique made the excursion very special and an amazing experience.

This cooking class was fun & interesting! Myself & my adult children enjoyed the atmosphere & the food! The chef/instructor was easy to understand & good at explaining what to do. I would recommend doing this if you are looking for something different to do, and dinner was delicious!

Last night in Rome and decided to treat my daughter to an Italian cooking class. Mersad taught the class which was detailed, lighthearted and very comfortable. He is knowledgeable and knew how to bring the group together. Not only did we learn to make pasta - ravioli & fettucine, we also made tiramisu and everyone enjoyed a great dinner. It was a rainy day and a great way to spend an afternoon. Highly recommend this unique experience.

An unforgettable ride! I had an amazing time with Flat 500 Experience Tours! From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized. The vintage Fiat 500 was in excellent condition and so much fun to drive — it really made me feel like I’d stepped back in time. Thanks to our guide Alexis was knowledgeable, friendly, and full of interesting stories about the local area. Every stop was well chosen, giving us plenty of photo opportunities and authentic local experiences. It was the highlight of my trip, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for something unique and memorable. Five stars all the way!
