Itinerary
Your morning starts with a pickup from Piazza della Calza by air-conditioned minibus. Relax while your driver heads out of Florence and onto the Chianti Road, considered one of the most scenic driving routes in Italy.
Make your first stop at a winery and wine-tasting school. Taste multiple types of wine and learn about their distinct flavors from a wine producer. Pair your wines with balsamic vinegar, truffle oil, and extra virgin olive oil.
Get back in the minibus and continue to a winery in the Vernaccia white grape region near San Gimignano. Follow the winemakers through the vineyard and wine cellar and taste Vernaccia, a rosè, and a Colli Senesi wine.
Your third stop is the Tuscan hill town of San Gimignano, where have free time to explore the town center. Your day ends with drop-off in Florence.

Our wine tours with Alessandro were absolutely unforgettable! 🍷 We visited two beautiful wineries and explored the medieval town of San Gimignano, learning so much about the region’s history and winemaking. Alessandro was the perfect guide—knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. We shared great laughs, made new friends, enjoyed delicious bites, and even had the option to ship our favorite wines home. A truly perfect day in Tuscany— everything I pictured! The trip into town was a special treat as well. Highly recommend this tour.

Wonderful experience! Our tour guide was a lot of fun and very knowledgeable. This tour is a good mix of structured activities and independent time to explore. We had a great time.
So much fun!! We couldn't believe the experience (and all the wine) we got out of the price. The wine tasting hoasts were hilarious and very engaging.

The two wineries included in the tour are intentionally different, allowing guests to discover two distinct sides of Tuscan winemaking. The first is a boutique winery, where the experience is centred primarily around a guided wine tasting, while the second offers a more local atmosphere, including a visit of the estate and a closer look at the winemaking process.

2 nice wineries - one big, oone smaller. Then about 2 hours in San Gimignano. The town was super crowded - but there was enough time to look around, shop and or get some lunch. Emanual was a great driver, lots of fun and informatiobal.

My family LOVED this wine tour! From pick up to drop off, the entire experience was seamless. The team takes you to two different wineries, both wonderful. The first winery was a true experience and formal tasting/pairing with beautiful grounds and delicious wine. We loved the owner, he was so entertaining! The second winery was less formal and more quaint with stunning views and great olive oil. We finished the day by stopping in San Gimignano, where we shopped and got small bites before heading home. I would highly recommend this tour - worth every penny!!

The first winery was amazing, the second winery was a disappointment. We were supposed to have a true Tuscan lunch with wine pairings for each portion, we were given multiple pours at a time with no explanation because our wine connoisseur was busy with another group. We had appetizers and were told our time was up and they started clearing our table so we left. Our guide was wonderful and felt really bad for our group.

We are sorry, however, to read about your disappointment regarding lunch. We would like to clarify that lunch is not part of this tour and is not listed anywhere among the tour inclusions. The experience does not advertise or include a Tuscan lunch with wine pairings. What is included is a wine tasting accompanied by a selection of local products/appetizers.
We are therefore sorry that the expectation of a full lunch affected your overall impression and rating of the tour, particularly as this is not an experience or service that is included in the product you booked.
That said, regardless of lunch, the wine tasting itself should always be properly presented and explained. We appreciate your comments regarding the second winery and will certainly follow up with them to ensure our guests receive the appropriate attention and information during the tasting.

We were treated to the expertise of our guide Giovanni’s being a Sommelier and a Florentine native. I have experienced several wine tours in the past which were excellent but this one topped them all. We actually received a light lunch at the second stop!

Our tour guide, Giovanni was wonderful. He was full of such great information and history. The drive was wonderful. The two vineyards were wonderful and the wines were amazing. The town of San Gimignano was nice but the people of the town were so rude and made you feel unwanted there.

Our driver Dom was great! The ride was comfortable and the small group setting was nice. You absolutely get what you pay for. We ended up at two very different wineries - one small and family owned with great views and one much larger with an incredible indoor space. The experiences were both very different but both enjoyable! Ending with San Gimignano was a really nice touch, and we had just enough time there to explore and of course have some award winning gelato! Overall a 5 star experience for sure!

We loved our day on this tour! Valentina was an amazing guide and gave us so much information about the area before we arrived at the first winery. Views were amazing and we loved the differences in visiting both a small and larger winery. And both had amazing wine! Our time in San Gimignano was short (90 min) but gave us enough time to do some shopping, grab some gelato and enjoy the views. We had 8 people on our trip but it didn’t feel crowded, and we enjoyed getting to know the other travelers. Highly recommend this tour!

Cannot say enough good things about this experience. Of course the Tuscan countryside is beautiful, and of course the wines were great too. Both wineries did an excellent job with presentation and in explaining their process and how certain elements of that process influence the wines. Excellent educational day for us.
We toured with Giovanni, and he was probably our favorite part — funny, personable, deeply knowledgable about much more than just wine. Very memorable day for us! We loved it!

Our guide (Dario) was wonderful and knowledgeable. The staff at the wineries were also lovely. The timing was well planned and the day was organized and relaxing. We learned a lot about wine making and Tuscany. We enjoyed the delicious wines, amazing views, olive oil, vinegars, meats and cheeses. San Gimignano was a magical place where we enjoyed some gelato and time with the new friends we made on the tour. A special tour - small group and only one other couple in our case. First winery was small family-run and intimate where we did tour of wine making process - sat outside with beautiful backdrop of vineyard and also sampled olive oil. Second was larger facility and we sampled more wines at a table for the group in a row with lovely views - bonus was a delicious lunch of a charcuterie platter and lasagna. Last stop in San Gimignano was wonderful - a beautiful town and nice shopping. Tour guides were great and gave us plenty of time.

This tour was a wonderful introduction into the Tuscan wine region. Our guide, Manuele, was charming, knowledgeable and the upmost professional. He gave us a lot of history of the region and made sure we were all taken care off during the trip. Both wineries had incredible views of the Tuscan countryside and delicious wines. One of my favorite experiences in Tuscany! It's also a great hot weather activity. It was 95F the day I did the tour, but the van had great AC. The first vineyard has a fantastic view -- you're outside, but in the shade and it's earlier in the day. The second vineyard is inside with great AC. All the hosts were welcoming, helpful, and generous with the wine. Couldn't recommend more (esp as a solo traveler).

Wonderful day, I was alone but the others on the group were amazing and welcoming. Our driver was so nice and knowledgeable. Perfect amount of time at each spot and length of tour all together. The first winery was quaint and intimate, AMAZING views! Would do again!

What a wonderful experience. Both wineries were very good yet different. And all of the wine and food was delicious. We met new friends. Our guide was very good, knowledgeable yet gave us the freedom to have our own experience.

Great wineries and great that small group. Van was very small and tight for 7 people, for this price the expectation would be a nicer and larger van where everyone isn’t crammed together all day. Otherwise well laid out day.

Regarding the vehicle, our tours use a standard 8-seat passenger van, which is the typical minivan size used for small-group wine tours throughout Tuscany. In fact, this is the standard vehicle category used by virtually all tour operators for groups of this size. While space can feel more limited when all seats are occupied, the vehicle is designed and licensed to comfortably accommodate up to 8 passengers plus the driver.

We had an amazing experience. The vineyards were gorgeous and staff were so friendly and informative. Both vineyards ship internationally which was really nice for those traveling far. I believe our tour guide was Francisco. He made the trip even more enjoyable with great information and very friendly. 10 out of 10.
