Not only was it very well planned, it was delicious and very exciting history. The food and wine pairings were amazing! The hostess was also very entertaining! Would recommend this over many other restaurants and tours!

Finding the restaurant is very easy. Face the Pantheon and follow the road to the left, past Berninis statue of the elephant, keep going and Osteria Pizzeria di Agrippa is on the right wrapping found a corner. At this time of year (December) it is quiet and therefore we had the restaurant to ourselves - for us that was perfect a candlelit experience for just the two of us. The location is down in the basement area which had some Roman walls (part of the baths built by Agrippa) and with candlelight and gentle jazz music it was magical. The meal consisted of 4 courses: Antipasto with Prosecco Cacio e Pepe with Frascati white wine Veal cutlets and potato’s with Italian red wine Tiramisu and a millet-feuille with a desert wine. The food was excellent; served when we were ready and service excellent. All this was tied together by Aurelio, our guide, who was informative and engaging throughout however he left us to enjoy our food and each other’s company. I would not hesitate to recommend this tour, for us there was nothing to fault and it is a memory that will stay with us.

Romantic Roman dinner

This is a unique dinner served in the underground “caves” or cellars of the Pantheon. Walk from the madness of the Piazza at night to the quiet beauty of Ancient Rome. Lilly was our guide to dinner and told us all about Ancient Rome and the Pantheon, and about each course as they were served. She left us alone to enjoy our meal after each course was served. Lilly was fun, and clearly full of energy, which makes her the perfect hostess. Dinner was delicious, and is paired with four wines.
