This was a fantastic tour! Lili took great care of us. Very knowledgeable, and took the time to check in with everyone making you feel included on the LONG drives between stops. All in all Lili definitely is a matches energy person. So we had a blast! For solo travelers I was in a small group of 6 and got to make some be friends during the trip. But it's designed so you can do your own thing at each spot. Only down side were the waves at Nazare were not their full glory because I went in June which is the low season. (January was recommended for better. But it will be cold)

Mario was an excellent tour guide and provided lots of interesting and relevant information throughout the tour! This tour is very worth it, as it is difficult to get around in Sintra without a bus. Mario also gave great recommendations for food and for shopping. Bring cash just in case for lunch in Cascais!

Sintra Tour.

Our guide Edi was the most enthusiastic and passionate guide we have ever had. His review of the complicated history of Pena castle and the Portuguese monarchy was extensive. He did really well in tying in the history and the contemporary aspects of it all - much was not easy. He had a great sense of humour and loved answering every question asked. Edi’s recommendations for stops, cafés and lunch spots were fantastic. He even sent our group for his favourite restaurants in Lisbon to try. It was a long day, and we covered everything plus with a great guide.

Our day with Ines was absolutely outstanding and one of the highlights of our time in Portugal. Special tour; special guide

Lilly was our guide and driver. The best! She kept the fun, conversation, and education flowing even when we got stuck in traffic due to an accident on the highway (a one off, don't let this dissuade you). She also has great people skills, managing the walking logistics with a group of variable fitness and pace. I got a kick of how she handled driving 'instructions' from one of the other guests with grace and humor. A really special guide. The tour itself was fantastic - the beaches and town vibe in Caiscais are special as is the castle in Sintra. The tour provided the right amount of time at each stop. This is the perfect tour if you are spending two - three days in the Lisbon area and want to get out of the city for a day. If you have more time, Sintra and Cascais are both special and warrant separate stays . We were on a quick turnaround to another part of the country, so this was the perfect day trip for us.

Fantastic!

The small group experience was amazing! Our guide, Fabio, was friendly, professional and patient with those of us who lingered a little longer than expected. He knew little tricks to avoid long lines and sent us text messages to let us know how much time we had left. Fabio would give us the history of the place we were going to and also the cultural and modern significance of the town today. Although the acoustics in the van were not the best, we got the idea of what he was saying. I would highly recommend this tour.

Sintra tour

The sites were amazing and we enjoyed the tour. Emilio, our guide, was fun and informative. The driver was great. We had to pivot due to unusual heavy traffic and it all worked out great. The morning stop allowed for coffee and pastries. The lunch stop in Casçais included shopping and many restaurants. The tour is not for the weak if you have mobility issues. Comfortable enclosed shoes/sneakers is a must.

Truly a FULL day tour.

This tour is definitely worth the time. Be prepared for a long day of over 12 hrs. Our primary guide "John" was a wealth of historical information, of both Portugal in general, and the specific sites we visited. As our group was on the larger size, for Porto we were split into two. We had the delightful Maria as our guide. She brought such enthusiasm to the city she calls home. Tour was well organized. The bus was modern, clean and comfortable with USB sockets for charging your devices.
