- No transportation to/from hotels to Pier 33 or Express Van departure point or Pier 39
- Infants 4 and under free at Alcatraz but fee applies for Express seat portion
- Van does not provide car seats or booster seats (required for age 7 and under)
- We will assign order of events (Express before Alcatraz or Express after Alcatraz)
- Guests do not assume that they are early or late in the day. It is assigned!
- We do not pick up guests at their own hotel. They will be told us how to find us!

James was a fantastic tour guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and very nice! The early Muir Woods entry is unbeatable. What a beautiful place to spend our morning. I also liked that he had a TV in the tour bus to show us some of the history of San Francisco.
The cafe’s food wasn’t that good but the Golden Gate Bridge was just breathtaking to see and walk on.
James dropped us off right in front of the Alcatraz entry so it was super easy to get to the line.

This is the smartest tour you could book if you visit SF and especially if you are limited on time. Muir Woods and Alcatraz in one day? You don't have to drive? Your tickets for Alcatraz are purchased for you? YES! YES! and YES! It worked out so perfectly! James was a great driver, punctual and very personable. You will thank him for getting you to Muir Woods first. Why you may ask? Because the park is basically all to yourself. It's quiet and beautiful as intended. Before the bus loads of tourists get there to spoil the splendor. Alcatraz was amazing too, you are dropped off to the ferry pick-up and go at your own pace. Highly recommended!

At no fault to the tour, my experience never happened due to unforeseen circumstances with my travel.
I tried to call and adjust my tour, but no one answered to confirm or even refuse.
I’m deeply disappointed and insulted that they were happy to take my money, and didn’t even attempt to reassure me or respect my situation.

You can not rate us 1 star when you did not join us on our tour to begin with.
We sent your tickets two days prior to departure.
You called the night before and stated that your flight was going to put you in well after our Muir woods ended for the day. In fact; your flight got in at 1pm and you barely could make the 350pm Alcatraz none the less.
We said that you will miss the Muir Woods portion but still enjoy the Alcatraz ticket. The Alcatraz ticket had value and was able to still be used.
We did everything we could for you.
Our Muir Woods vans were blocked full for the next few days so the situation you put us in was hard to accommodate.

James was a terrific host. He was able to schedule a perfect day to get to know the city. He even adapted the schedule when the fog created photo difficulties. We got to the locations when there were few tourists, which made the day more special.

We traveled with our 5 y/o and it was an excellent tour! We had just enough time at each stop for our kiddo's attention span. We knew exactly where/when the pick ups would be and also got great info about the city from our guide, James.

James was great. We didn’t see the GGB on this tour but if you follow the instructions everything else was seamless. We had a great time and James was very accommodating. We were traveling with a 1 year old and we had a great experience. Definitely recommend.

This was an absolutely amazing trip. Our tour guide James was fantastic. Going early to Muir Woods made our trip magical. It gave us a chance to really experience the nature around us before the big crowds came in. We had a delicious breakfast at Sausalito and still had time to enjoy the view in the town. We did a quick stop to take a couple of picture at the Golden Gate Bridge and ended our trip at Alcatraz. I can't recommend this tour enough!

Getting to Muir woods before the crowds was great, to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the woods. Brunch was nice in Sausalito and the golden gate was impressive .

Was a great experience although the clips shown in the tour bus were always just running for a couple minutes before being shut off again. There was some interesting stuff that would have been cool to listen to the end. Maybe intended for longer traffic jams ;-)

We totally agree! We as locals did not even know half of the items we show on our documentaries when we first started. We would love to add more tv time within the tour but our tour is only so long!! We worked to select these hard to find documentaries so wish we could show them in their entirety as well. We show parts that reinforce what we are discussing and we are glad that you enjoyed them! This tour was the best way to experience the highlights of San Francisco! James was a wonderful tour guide and everything went so smoothly. I recommend booking the early tour to Muir Woods because it gets busy fast, we were able to experience the beauty before the crowds got there. Can’t beat front row service to the see the Golden Gate Bridge or get on the Alcatraz ferry! The van is equipped with a tv to show videos about the bridge and Alcatraz during the drive. He also surprised us with a drive by past the Mrs. Doubtfire house! I highly recommend this tour.

Arriving at Muir woods before the park opened provided a quiet experience. The visit to the Golden Gate Bridge visitors center was a nice addition that I wasn't expecting. The timing was perfect with us ending at the at the Alcatraz boat for nice visit on the Island.

Me and my whole family had a great time on this trip. James was a great guide, he was very knowledgeable and unlike other big tour busses it was a small group so everyone was talking and interacting which to us is a lot better than a large group. I would absolutely recommend this tour over others because of how well everything was executed and how great James was.
