Very nice and great paced tour. The only thing that I would like to see is more information on the other inmates that were incarcerated, example: James "Whitey" Bulger and Clarence Carnes the youngest inmate on Alcatraz.

Very interesting history. Audio tour of the cell house was full of details that I never knew. The climb to cell house was strenuous but well worth it. A tram to the cell house was available for those that preferred not to climb.

This is a good tour. W only wish both gift stores were open. The history of the settlement on the island is fascinating yet sad as well.

It was great. Staff and Rangers were top notch. We really enjoyed ourselves. Do give yourself time to pick up tickets at will call and time to get in line.

Didn’t go because I accidentally chose the wrong date when I paid and Viator assured me it was updated, but it was not. I paid $130 into the ether. I wouldn’t recommend this tour company or Viator.

Very nice. We went on a Saturday and it was pretty crowded. Would probably be easier to get around and take pictures if we had gone during the week.

We enjoyed the tour, and learned more about Alkatraz history. We learnt that Alkatraz island is not only about prison but also native indian history. We saw Golden Bridge from far, though we had hoped for closer look.

Good tours. Terrible instructions. Acatraze instructions good but follow on cruise instructions awefull. No company name listed (several cruise companies). Follow up cruise ticket not included in voucher download

Good tour, but a bit confusing going from Alcatraz to the Golden Gate cruise. We had to call the number a few times to find out where to go to get our tickets. Little bit more direction on timing and location would be helpful.

Booking this tour is overpriced and doesn't not include any short line access or private tour guide. There is a guide provide with the tour that is included in the ticket for Alcatraz. Everyone has access to that guide. Very Overpriced ....

The whole tour was very informative, no rush to go round the prison, as boats were available to get back.
Golden gate cruise was very informative with history and caputured amazing photos including Dolphins

The Alcatraz tour was great! I was disappointed that we had to go on our own to the San Francisco Bay cruise. We tried to do the cruise after Alcatraz tour. The first cruise available was 2:45 pm. It conflicted with our afternoon tour. We were unable to go Yhursday too. I am hoping Viator will refund our money for the cruise. Please advise me.

The tour to Alcatraz was everything we expected. The whole experience is a mixture of emotions including amazing, frightening, unreal and unbelievable.
It is a great insight into what occurred on this desolate isolated place. A great place to visit, but I would not want to live there. :)

This was on my bucket list and I’m so glad I was able to experience it with my boyfriend. The tour was very informative and memorable as well. I even left with a few souvenirs from the gift shop. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who travels to San Francisco.
