Tickets for the Corsini Palace, which also include access to the Barberini Palace (Palazzo Barberini), cost €15. Passes are valid for 20 days from purchase. Admission is free on the first Sunday of every month. To tour the Corsini Palace with a private guide, expect to pay from US$250.

The Corsini Palace’s wide-ranging collection includes ancient Roman sculptures, period furniture, and, most famously, paintings from some of the 17th and 18th centuries’ best artists. Masterpieces on display include Caravaggio’s St. John the Baptist and Rubens’ St. Sebastian Healed by Angels.

Corsini Palace is open from Tuesday–Sunday from 10am–7pm, with the last entrance an hour before closing. Though you can generally buy tickets on-site without a long wait, it’s recommended to reserve tickets online in advance for busier days, such as the first Sunday of the month, when admission is free.

Located at the northwestern edge of Trastevere, you can walk to Corsini Palace from many of Rome’s top attractions—just cross the Tiber River at Ponte Sisto for a pleasant walk along the water. Buses 23 and 280 also stop near the museum.

Corsini Palace is just next door to Villa Farnesina, a must-see attraction for fans of Renaissance frescoes. The museum is also near the Botanical Garden of Rome, a 30-acre (12-hectare) space with a Japanese garden, rose garden, and butterfly center. Trastevere’s centuries-old churches and street food joints are also just a short stroll away.
