What are people saying about San Francisco

Absolutely amazing!
Don't let the early departure time dissuade you from this amazing experience! If you only have one day in Yosemite, this is the way to go. Our guide Victor was outstanding! He was knowledgeable and completely devoted to ensuring that our group of 14 had the best experience he could provide. Yosemite is a wonder that we all felt blessed to share in, and the tour was ideal for the short amount of time that we had

Perfect tours
Always book a City Tour as soon as possible when visiting a new city .Our tour guide Randy gave us a stress free day ,SF history and Rock n Roll nostalgia with music . Simply Marvelous. He filled the 3.5 hours better than I could ever imagine. Thank you Viator.

Embrace your inner hippie! Fantastic tour.
Very fun and relaxed. Not on a tight schedule, the tour guide was very friendly, talkative, a hippie, and not afraid to express his opinions, which we all found entertaining (and agreed with)! Didn't catch his name, he told us to call him "cousin". Took us by some fantastic places - Janis Joplin house, Grateful Dead places, had a lot of local "insider" info, told us about growing up here and what had changed, etc. We were a nice small group of 7, amazingly comfortable VW van from the 70's, totally decked out with the original shag carpet and everything. Definitely worth the time and money, highly recommend for a fun throwback to the hope generation trip!

Book it already!
Our tour with the painted ladies hosted by Jim was FANTASTIC. Jim is a very personable tour guide who gave us a lot of back story about the places we visited and their connections to the local community. We had so much fun seeing the sights! Thanks again Jim!

We took this wine tour...
We took this wine tour while visiting the Bay area for our wedding anniversary trip as we wanted to get a glimpse of the Sonoma/Napa valley area. This tour was very fun and informative. We went with a small group of 10 and everyone was friendly. Our tour guide Anthony was very accommodating and entertaining. We went to 3 wineries and we enjoyed the dry red wines at Peter Cellars Winery the most. The ambiance/ grounds at B R Cohn Winery were absolutely beautiful and the wines at Homewood were a refreshing fruit forward spin on wines that would go well with comfort foods. I would recommend this tour to others.

San Francisco City Tour
Comprehensive tour that gave a great overview of San Francisco, Muir Woods and a visit to Alcatraz. The tour guide Per, was very engaging and had excellent knowledge of the area, also liked the way that he blended his playlist to match the tour with artists that had either recorded tracks in the area or had recorded songs that had San Francisco in the title. GREAT Job, I would highly recommend Dylans Tours.

Great experience for novice wine enthusiasts!
We wanted an introductory winery/vineyard tour experience and this outing delivered. Our driver and guide, Danilo, was very friendly and provided some relevant historical tidbits about San Francisco and Sonoma and Napa Valleys. Our first stop was at the vista point at the Golden Gate Bridge for a photo opportunity. We then visited Roche Winery, B.R. Cohn Winery and Madonna Estate. All different…we received some education and history and details of winemaking and tasted many delicious wines. Altogether, we enjoyed it and met some nice people from around the world. We stopped at Sonoma Plaza and had a wonderful Mexican lunch at La Casa. One suggestion would be to bring your own water and snacks. The tour motor coach left around 9:00 am and returned a little after 6:00 pm.

The muir woods are...
The muir woods are breathtaking and the little village super cute but the best part of the tour was definitely Roman, our guide! Super funny, ultra knowledgeable and gave us so many quickly details and funny facts about San Francisco everywhere we went by. An excellent driver too! I had so much fun, learned a lot and totally worth it!

Would recommend!
Our driver/guide was very nice. We felt very safe going up and down the road to Muir Woods. He drove carefully and safely and provided us with a lot of interesting information along the way in relation to all of the things we were driving past. The charter bus was very clean and comfortable. Only issue was that the seat belts were quite stiff and difficult to put on and take off.
Otherwise, it was a great experience!
We also enjoyed our time in Sausalito and the ferry ride back to Pier 39.

Bucket List Item - check!
This was such a cool experience! We did this in mid March and I personally did not need a jacket and wish I had worn less, actually. haha We saw a whale and had smooth sailing around Alcatraz and under the bridge. Highly recommend and would do it again!

Birthday Cruise on the SF Bay
My family and I celebrated my birthday by taking a 1-hour cruise of the San Francisco Bay with narration about the history of the Golden Gate Bridge, Treasure Island, Angel Island, Alcatraz, and the surrounding areas of Marin, Sausalito, Tiburon and the cities of San Francisco and Oakland. It was a beautiful day and the Red & White Fleet staff were friendly and helpful as one of the members in my family who went on her first ever cruise on the SF Bay was my 90-year old mother-in-law in a wheelchair. She completely enjoyed this excursion and I couldn’t agree with her more! Definitely a must for those who want to take in the beautiful view of San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area from a boat.

Pick this tour!
Brian is a very experienced guide and his passion for SF is evident in all his choices of what to show you and the commentary/ anecdotes along the way. The small van is perfect for getting to all the sites. Brian also provides a snack with thoughtful choices that tie into SF's culture and history

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Of all the San Francisco bus tours, the “love” tours that zip around the city from the Painted Ladies Victorian homes to the Twin Peaks viewpoint in Volkswagen vans might be the most fun. If these offbeat treks are a bit granola for you, other bus tours are convenient for exploring the city and surrounding areas in comfort. Hop-on hop-off bus tours offer ultimate flexibility and freedom, while guided coach tours travel to Muir Woods and even as far as Yosemite National Park and the Monterey and Carmel area.
