This tour provides an excellent introduction to the Colosseum and surrounding areas. There’s so much to see in both spots that you could spend a day or two exploring in more depth but this tour gives it to you in a really digestible way over 2.5 hours. Our guide Daniel was terrific. Knowledgeable with a lovely easy manner and a nice sense of humour which made the tour race along. We had about 16-18 in our group which was very manageable and we didn’t feel “lost” at any stage. It’s a definite strong recommendation as either the perfect introduction or (as with us) our only opportunity to experience this incredible area.

We really wanted to see...

We really wanted to see The Sistine Chapel and The Pietra but what we got was so much more than just a tour. Our guide was so knowledgeable and took her time on our tour of The Vatican so we never felt rushed and we learned about the history of not only the place but of the caretakers past and present of this holy city. If you are looking for a small group tour of a cultural icon, this is the tour for you.

Great tour with Cashia

Cashia was a wonderful tour guide. She was there on time and very professional and courteous. She gave recommendations to dining and answered all of our questions. The walk is not too bad. She takes many stops in the shade and talks about the spot. We had enough time at each spot. You go inside one really pretty church which you should cover your shoulders in. You can see the outer ring of the trevi fountain. It does not include the 2 euro entrance fee to the inner ring. There is a 15 minute stop at the Trevi fountain so you have time to grab a gelato if you want to very good tour to learn some history and see a few sites.

Mattias was a great guide! Touring the aqueducts, the Catacombs, and the Appian Way were a great addition to our Rome trip and took us out of the hustle and bustle of the rest of Rome. Mattias provided many details and plenty of time to enjoy each site. The vehicle was comfortable and the ride smooth. Well worth it!!

Exceptional Tour with Eco Art with a great tour guide

We took the skip the line, early access (8am), with 10 people max, tour of the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St Peter's Basilica. It was an exceptional tour, and our EcoArt tour guide, Jeannette, provided great historical facts and great information of all that we were looking at. We were provided with an audio aid, so we could hear our guide well, even being feet away and while being in a bit of a noisy crowd. Being a small(er) group, we were given a good amount of time to take pictures and venture on our own. It met all our expectations, and the convenience using the passages to all three sites were a plus. We were also left on our own inside the St Peter's Basilica after the tour, giving us more time to hear mass, go to confession, and explore more of the basilica, the popes' tombs, and the square on our own. There was also a Vatican post office where you could mail post cards and souvenirs to anyone in the world. The tour did not include the dome of the basilica, but getting the early access would allow you to explore the dome on your own after the tour, and you'll be there early enough to beat the crowd. The option that we took was more on the pricey side, but it is worth every penny. We spent about 2-3 hours with the tour, and we spend another 2 hours exploring the Vatican on our own =)

A highlight of our trip! Our guide, Dominica, was so friendly and shared lots of information about the restaurants we visited and the history of some of the food we ate. We were in a small group of 5 and the tour was a nice pace. They were easily able to accommodate a vegetarian diet. You get plenty of food, we were very full by the end. Would highly recommend this tour!!

Julia was was incredibly engaged and passionate about her city. Not only did we sample typical street foods, but she added so much context to every day Roman life. She was also very keen on sharing “hidden gems” with the group. We can highly recommend this tour. It’s a wonderful way to experience some of the neighborhoods in Rome and enjoy some culinary delights at the same time.

Great tour with Pamela

A good deal of walking involved but not too bad as most paths were shaded and mostly flat. Our guide Pamela was very informative and was great at keeping all of us together. Stops in the shade along the way to discuss the current and next stop was very good. Water at the Pantheon was the best and coldest.

Well worth the time and money

The tour guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. They were a native English speaker and easy to understand. We saw a lot of the major attraction in Rome in an efficient time frame, with plenty of time to check trevi fountain, grab gelato, and take a bathroom break. I would do this tour again! She stopped us in shady locations but didn't keep us standing for long periods.

Great tour for those short on time or who need suggestions on what to do

Dan was a great tour guide. I rate on a few things. Pace was great with enough time to get the photos. He was easy to understand and follow. And finally his knowledge about the city was top notch.. As a teacher its important that the guide offers accurate information with a mix of local legends and he was so great at balancing the two. Would definitely recommend this tour.
