Fantastic guided tour

We had a brilliant time on our tour, with our guide being extremely knowledgeable and very helpful, answering any questions we had and even taking photos of us (feet included 😉). We had the small group tour and ended up being just 4 of us, so was almost like our own little personal tour. Despite the heat (it was well over 30 degrees), he always found some shade and explained each element of the tour in a way we could all understand well. Would definitely recommend this tour.

If you want to see the Vatican this tour is a MUST.

The Vatican is a must in Rome. That being said I highly recommend a VIP tour. Our guide Maggie was able to navigate the lines and the crowds for us enabling us to enjoy every single minute of the Vatican, Saint Peter‘s Basilica, the Sistine Chapel etc etc. take advantage of visiting this beautiful place with a guide who can explain and inform you of all the interesting facts and history.

Getting to see the...

Getting to see the Vatican was absolutely stunning and was a could-not-miss experience. Our tour guide was super knowledgeable and made the history fun to hear about. She did a fantastic job guiding us to the most important pieces to look at. I wouldn't recommend doing the Vatican any other way than by taking this tour.

Make sure you read email for last minute changes in meeting point. However we had an amazing evening tour of the Rome highlights. Our guide was friendly and personable. We saw many of the famous sights of Rome such as the Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona and the Colosseum and he even dropped off at our hotel after a Gelato. All from a flabulous golf cart.

Great Tour - even better tour guide.

Our guide was Chiara - she is very knowledgeable about architecture and she made the tour fun. Despite it being 100 degrees out we still managed to cover a lot of ground and she took time to answer all of our questions. The communication with our guide and the company before the tour started was very helpful as we did this tour on the morning we arrived in Rome. We did not have to wait in many lines and the tour was structured in a way that allowed us to learn the history and see what we wanted to see. Chiara was great.

A Rome Wonder

The Pantheon is one of the greatest marvels in Rome. Donatella was an excellent guide and explained each aspect of the monument well and clear. I could spend hours staring up at the dome and reveling in the intricate beauty. This tour skipped the line for us and led us right in with no issues or wait. Well worth it to have access in and learn some history!

Our tour included visiting Pompeii, driving around Amalfi coast and stopping for pictures, dining as well as shopping. This was a small group tour, only 6 of us in total and very well managed! The tour was quite comprehensive and moved at a good pace. I liked the size of the tour group and our guide (Marco) was engaging and fun. Meeting at Crown Tours was simple to find our group although an hour before the tour is a long time to stand around. The tour office has no where to sit, some air-conditioned space inside, no washroom facilities and although I understand the desire to have the group present and ready to go in advance of the tour, it was a long wait with little shade.
