This guided tour offers vivid storytelling of epic gladiator battles and visits to the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. - Full names of all travellers must be provided at the time of booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers’ full names at the ticket office may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum
- Each traveller must present a valid passport or government-issued ID that matches the name provided at booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum
- Tour order may vary: we will start with either the Colosseum or the Roman Forum/Palatine Hill depending on ticket times.
- Colosseum admission is free on the first Sunday of each month. Tours are discounted on these days.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 24 travelers

We done the tour with yousef he was very friendly and very knowledgeable. He guided us round the tour giving us in-depth history of the sites visited. He was very courteous and chatted away to us the whole time. Gave us recommendations for our visit to Rome. Highly recommend thank you

It was a great experience, seeing the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill at a beautiful time of day just at sunset. My guide Vittoria was very kind and engaging, and I learned a lot about the history of Rome from her. She was also happy to answer my questions, provide tips for visiting Rome and even took a photo of me for me! Would recommend.

Tour guide never showed. But we were given option to rebook, or get refund and tickets to do self tour. We opted for the self tour.

The tour is absolutely not worth the price. Our guide Christina Heger was just not meant to be a guide. Everything felt like a chore for her, rushing during the whole tour, her explanations were vague and boring, saying things that everyone in the group didn’t fully understand and every question was responded with a complete different thing but an answer. Just felt zero like a service and more like she was doing all of us a favor. Please get guides that are passionate about the history and can manage properly a group.

Very informative tour. Our guide Zohu had a wealth of knowledge and an obvious passion for the subject matter.
Worth mentioning there were some points in the tour where we were held up by the sheer numbers of people at each site. Definitely bring your water and walking shoes it's a good hike but well worth it.

I was not expecting to be blown away.. but the tour guide had me so engaged. I really would recommend. I don’t know if I would have enjoyed it alone. The knowledge of history she spoke about was fascinating .

Paola was great! She was sooo knowledgeable and kept a very well paced and organized tour for the duration of the time we spent with her. I would recommend this tour and her to anyone visiting Rome. I would say, though, make sure you book a morning time. The first hour of our tour was great but after that it got quite busy!

This was a truly unforgettable tour and much of the credit goes to our phenomenal guide, Selene. Her expertise, paired with a remarkable ability to engage and connect, made the experience exceptionally enriching. She was very engaging and made a special effort to captivate our children, aged 12 and 16, ensuring they remained interested in the stunning sites and the rich history throughout our tour. Selene has a PhD in archaeology! Doesn’t get any better than that.

Our guide, Paolo, was by far the most knowledgeable, personable, and entertaining guide we could have had the good fortune of being paired with for our tour of the Colosseum, Forum, and Palatine Hill. He learned everyone’s names, involved them in an interactive way to relay the expansive history of such a place, and even had other tours stop and listen/watch. He was kind enough to buy a small souvenir for my 12-yo daughter to take home as well. At the end of the tour, he also provided his own personal recommendations for restaurants in Rome, some other must-see sites, as well as a new favorite gelato and tiramisu places! I cannot recommend Paolo enough - I hope everyone can experience the Colosseum like we did!

A bit strenuous at 6500 steps according to my iPhone, but Joy’s friendly and knowledgeable information was the real highlight. It did not seem rushed, and the narration was clear and easy to follow. I felt that I crawled all over the Colosseum and then went outside to explore the Palantine and Forum. It was good weather and not too hot, which helped during all those steep staircases. This was everything I had hoped for and really feel I got my money’s worth. The COlosseum was a wonder but Joy was what made it memorable.

Christian was a fountain of knowledge, this tour promptly started and lasted around 3.5 hours. The whole of the tour was so educational, Christian really knew his stuff! Pointing out some small stamps on bricks, used to age the time it was built, which would go completely unnoticed without that knowledge. Overall a fab day

During our vacation we have done about 13 tours. So, at this point I was a little toured out, except our guide was A-Ma-Zing. The tour was like a story that travelled from the past to the more present. She was animated, intelligent and really funny. I hope everyone who books this tour gets our guide, but if not, and if the tours are even 50% as good as ours, you’ll having a unforgettable day.

Suzanna was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly throughout the tour. The Roman forum was incredible to see. The guide book showing what the ruins would have looked like helped give perspective. The history of the colosseum was interesting and Suzanna was great it helping us capture the perfect photo.
