After roughly 1.5 hours, your tour reaches its end near Castel Sant’Angelo, leaving you well placed for restaurants, bars, and streets steeped in history.

You really made us see the emotions of the characters you told us about. History is great and beautiful but also sad and evil at times.
The night walking experience was great. Our guide Alberto did a great job guiding us through Rome’s dark past. We’ve been to Rome many times, we learned a lot and had fun. I would recommend this tour and definitely Alberto as a guide.
Fantastic and fun. Alberto was knowledgeable, funny and interesting. Dark secrets of the eternal city. Highly recommended
Our guide was nice, but he lacked depth in his knowledge and his storytelling was not great. There was so much he could have done but didn’t. I knew more about several of the places he talked about and I’m not a historian. The people I was with were disappointed as well. I feel like the quality of guides has dropped. I wouldn’t bother with Viator anymore. I can easily do the research myself and get more information.

We Had a tour with Joseph full of very interesting ghostly stories would 100% recommend if travelling to Rome and learn about the behind history that not much people know about.
It was very informative and excellent historical insight. There was a lot interesting facts and details of each different places and would like to go again!

We had a great time on this tour. There wasn’t as much walking as we expected, which made it very enjoyable. The stories were fascinating and really brought the history to life. Alberto was right on time and lead a very interesting tour. It covered some of the less-visible side Roman history … the burning heretic, the mass poisoner, the horrific prison, and more. Cool stuff!

Interesting tour, and a way to see Rome at night feeling a little more secure. Our guide Semi was terrific. Informative and energetic. Also, he started the tour walking very briskly, and when I asked him to modify his pace for older folks in our group, he was very accommodating. Excellent guide for the tour.

Inti was our tour guide and he was very personable and friendly. He knew the answers to any questions the group had and made the whole experience very enjoyable and interesting.
This tour was a lot of fun and just the right amount of time. Our guide, Althea, was great! She had a really good sense of humor, which made the tour even more enjoyable. Also, she walked at just the right pace and that was a great relief to someone like myself that has a hard time walking because of back issues. The places we visited all had interesting stories and it was really neat to see them at night. Also, one of the things that was pointed out was something that you can find all over Rome so the tour continued to provide us with enjoyment after we were done with it. I definitely recommend this tour.
Aletha was an excellent tour guide. Very knowledgeable and a fun experience to have in our last night in Rome. My recommendation is do this walk on your first night in the city so you can go back and experience them at a later date. She gives you recommendations for food and wine. Definitely glad we did this.
