Raccoon 🦝 Island Tour - Must Do!!!!!

If you're contemplating this tour... DO IT! I took my sons, ages 20 and 15, and they both said it was the best part of our trip. The boat ride was lively, with great music, a fun atmosphere, and interesting information about the area as we made our way to the island. Once on the island, you can join a short guided tour or explore on your own. I highly recommend exploring independently. We encountered raccoons almost immediately! As long as you respect the animals and their environment, you'll have an unforgettable and positive experience. The sandbar and swimming stop were also a blast and the perfect way to cool off and relax. By the end of the day, we were happy, exhausted, and ready for a late dinner in Little Havana. This tour delivered adventure, wildlife, beautiful scenery, and plenty of family memories all in one experience. It was absolutely worth it, and I'd recommend it to anyone visiting the Miami area!

Birthday the books!!

It was such a great time. I would book captain Luis Hernandez any day. I came out for my 30th birthday and it was probably one of the most memorable experiences from my trip. Luis knew a lot about the city and was very professional on the trip. The Monterey boat was beautiful and had open seating which was perfect for the views off of the Biscayne Bay. 100/10 !! Definitely would recommend! Can’t wait until my next Miami trip !

Bucket List Achievement!

If you're a first timer, the kayak isn't as intimidating as you may think. They have water proof pouches and ponchos for sale on the boat in case you need one. Adam, Frances and Devin made sure we had a heart experience. They provided water and fruit during the excursion. Once we reached raccoon Island, we were able to venture off on our own. You can bring fruit and water for the raccoons if you're lucky enough to encounter them. Definitely worth the trip.

It was a nice tour for a reasonable price. Alex was our driver and practiced safe transportation. Ashton was our tour guide on the airboat and he helped us spot gators and different wildlife, while giving us interesting facts about the animals and cracking a few jokes. We saw about 7-8 different gators, but they are QUICK so I suggest taking videos if you want any pictures. The gator show was okay, but a bit short. Option to hold a baby gator or snake for $10 extra (or both for $20)! It was overall a cool experience and worth what you pay.

For me dealing with...

For me dealing with everything you have to do after you have made the initial deposit is frustrating every time. You then have to choose your captain and fill out more paperwork. They do not always send you the correct information and don't acknowledge that in their end. The best part of everything is the boat ride and the captains. They do an amazing job and are extremely friendly!!

This was one of the best walking tours we have ever been on . Star of the show , other than the fascinating buildings which we saw, was undoubtedly our guide Rick . He was so enthusiastic , informative and entertaining - a real showman who kept us interested throughout the 2 1/2 hours which seemed to fly by .Brilliant !

Inexpensive cruise with beautiful Miami views

The upper deck definitely has better views so get in line early. We were below and could only see the sites the guide was talking about on our side. For the money, this is a great excursion. Cash bar which we didn’t use so not sure the prices. I read other reviews that it’s cheaper to buy tickets in person not online and that seemed true. We saw the paper ticket of the couple in front of us and they paid $60. We paid $70 but our paper ticket said we paid $220. As far as being a sunset cruise, we didn’t pull out of port until the sun had set which was a bit disappointing. We definitely enjoyed the gorgeous Miami skyline all lit up. Overall we’d go again.

What an incredible boat party in Miami! From the moment we stepped on board, the views were stunning and the energy was contagious. The live DJ kept the music pumping all night, creating the perfect vibe to dance and celebrate. The open bar was always flowing with great drinks, and the bartender was friendly, fast and amazing at what he does. Truly a memorable experience on the water that exceeded all expectations! 🚤🎶🍹✨

The best boat tour I ever had! And, I had quite a few! Just enough people. Not crowded at all. The captain (Jimmy) and his crew are fantastic! This was two storied boat with ample leg space to move around! It also covered a lot of distance! Some other boats we found was over crowded and also had covers all around! Not the best option for these kind of tours! Loved our Fiesta boat tour!
