I paid $426 (tax included) for a “3-hour boat experience,” and the entire process was disorganized and incredibly frustrating from start to finish. Booking itself was unclear, as there was no straightforward way to select a time. I had to reach out to the tour operator just to secure a 6 PM slot. Before arriving, I was instructed via Viator to pay a $300 crew fee ($100/hour) through a Stripe link. I paid this in full and received confirmation, so I arrived assuming everything was handled. Based on the operator’s own message, the total additional cost on the boat was supposed to be $460. With the $300 already paid, we reasonably believed the remaining amount would cover everything and payed $460 on top of price of the boat, so $886 in total. However, once we arrived, the situation immediately fell apart. Our boat was stuck behind two others, and despite a 6 PM reservation, we didn’t even start moving until 6:55 PM because the boat in front was chained. I asked the crew about this and they said that my reservation was for 6:30pm, either way we they were late. This is something the crew should have been aware of and prepared for in advance. Then the payment situation became completely ridiculous. While the boat still wasn’t even properly out at sea and was stopped at a bridge for about 15 minutes, they suddenly claimed we needed to pay another $300 because the crew had not been paid. At that point, it made no sense. We had already paid what we were explicitly instructed to pay through the official link, and there was no clear explanation, no breakdown of charges, and no prior communication about any additional fees. Instead of resolving the confusion professionally, the situation escalated. We returned to the dock, where the owner was waiting and aggressively questioned the $300 payment. When I showed proof, including messages and bank statements, his response was, “I can call the police.” This experience felt completely unorganized, poorly communicated, and honestly suspicious. I have full documentation of every payment and conversation, and to make matters worse, the listed support number does not even work. For the price paid, this was unacceptable. I would strongly advise others to avoid this company.

This was literally one of the best things i’ve done in miami so far !!!! Communication with the boat rental company was just so easy, and the actually yacht tour was so fun! SHOUT OUT TO OUR CAPTIAN HELY AND OUT CREW MATE SEBASTIAN! They really made the trip so enjoyable and accommodated so much for us !! LOVED EVERYTHING 🩷

The booking experience was fine. After I chose the boat that I wanted, I was contacted and payment was processed a couple days before my event. They called me to also tell me that it’d be extra charges for fuel, the captain and the crew which I was fine with. I booked three hours with a jet ski and when I got there, they told me that I didn’t have the jet ski and I showed them my paperwork where it was proof of purchase that I had a jet ski and they told me that I would only have the jet ski for 30 minutes. I even had talked to the captain and asked if they had towels on board so we didn’t have to bring our own and he said they did. When I got on board, I asked for a couple towels and they looked at me like I was crazy. They ended up providing me only two towels for a party of 11 of us.

Regarding the jet ski: our listing description specifies that 3-hour charters do not include jet ski time, because there isn’t enough time to safely fit it into the itinerary. For the 4-hour charter option, the jet ski is included for 30 minutes per jet ski, which is the amount scheduled based on the total duration of the trip—and this is outlined in the description. We understand you had paperwork showing a jet ski add-on, so we’re very sorry this wasn’t explained more clearly before your trip. That’s on us, and we’ll be improving how we confirm and communicate add-ons so there are no surprises at the dock. About the towels: we sincerely apologize. You should not have been put in that position, especially with a party of 11. We’re already addressing this internally to ensure crews are stocked with enough towels for the full group, and that everyone is aligned on what’s available onboard.
