Worst experience ever. DO NOT BOOK. When we booked the boat trip, the description clearly said we would cruise through Biscayne Bay and see some of Miami’s best sights, including Millionaire Row, Star Island, and Downtown Miami. We saw none of that. Instead, we stayed in a harbor the entire time. We paid over $200 and never left the harbor area. The description is extremely misleading and does not reflect the actual experience. It also says the trip lasts one to two hours, which made us believe we would at least see some of the advertised landmarks. That never happened. This feels like false advertising. We paid expecting a sightseeing boat tour and instead got a very disappointing ride around a harbor with no views and none of the promised locations. Do not book. Total waste of money. 🚫

It was a very nice experience for us, we did the 1 hr ride with Hector. A very good captain and person. We wanted a chill experience with music, champagne and a good view and he accommodated us. Out of the trip we think this was the highlight!

Booking with these guys was frustrating and such a headache. I had booked an hour for a certain time and they last minute change my time with no notice as well as communication to know the captain was just a headache. I won’t be going with them next time.

My partner, friend and I were visiting Miami for my partner’s 28th birthday. I booked ahead of and it was seamless via Viator. In the days preceding, I happened to check WhatsApp and saw several to-dos ahead of our reservation. They were simple enough— selecting a captain and taking the Florida temporary boating license course— but I fear we wouldn’t have been able to get on the boat had I not coincidentally checked WhatsApp. I wish they were clearer about how they would be communicating final details. We rode with Rafael and his assistant whose name I unfortunately can’t remember and had an absolute BLAST. We brought our own champagne in addition to the one they offer as well as snacks. Both our captain and his assistant were fun, thoughtful, and engaging. Personally I couldn’t recommend them more! Strongly recommend booking during sunset.

Boat ride was great, but you do need to read the fine print. We don’t typically carry cash, needed an extra $50. You sign quite a bit of paperwork as you are actually chartering the boat. The captan was very nice, the views were amazing. We very much enjoyed getting out in the water!

No tour commentary, ripped seats on boat not champagne

It was ok, great to be on the water. The boat had ripped seats and looked tired, there was no commentary about where we were going or seeing which was disappointing. Champagne was cheap medium brut, not a problem but don’t call it champagne!

The captain did not give us any real tour and we spent the last 45 minutes of the tour close to the docking bay and ended 15 minutes early.

Me and my partner arrived...

Me and my partner arrived approximately 20 min late due to an accident in traffic. The company was trying to charge us an extra $150 just to add 30 minutes to our only an hour tour. We conducted the tour and only got about 20 minutes worth of boat riding. After the tour ended we had dinner at a nearby restaurant and noticed our boat and the captain still sitting with no one else. In addition, there were several other fees after that we were not aware of such as $50 fee for the captain. Not worth it in my opinion, tourist trap.

This is due to the high demand for this activity and the need to respect the schedule of all guests. The fact that no one was booked immediately after your tour does not change this policy, as we must honor the timing commitments made to every customer. Regarding the $50 fee, please note that it is clearly stated in the product description and is a mandatory charge required by local regulations for all providers. In addition, this fee is communicated twice before departure: once in the automated Viator message and again in the captain’s direct communication. If you had chosen not to agree to this fee, we would have had no issue canceling your reservation and issuing a full refund. Thank you, Marcos

We went 25 mins late, they didn't say anything before starting.but one hour drive they made 15mins. But Rafael took 50$ (boat and fuel ) disappointed. They didn't give any other option. If they say before we plan to cancel or pay more to extend time for boat travel time.

We booked this trip last minute, on the day, on NYE 2025. We are from Manchester and it’s our first experience in Miami! Exceeded our expectations and had the BEST time. Really bad experience. Be aware of wrong description. Description is misleading. It mentions in the general description "sail along Biscayne Bay and take in some of Miami's best sights," "Tour: Sandbar Charter: : Explore Miami's iconic coastline relaxing in one of the must do experiences in Miami: Sandbar (Nixon)". We did not explore any coastline andf was far away from relaxing. And we saw no sights. The Captain rude, I asked for ice and said he had ice but could not provide because had several other tours after. He was eating while driving (safe?) and went full speed from Monty's to Sandbar. Our drinks were spilling all over the boat. When we asked about sightseeing, he said was not included. Description is wrong, should say clearly that the 3 hours are ONLY in the sandbar, no sightseeing. Please do not answer that "Our 3-hour tours are specifically designed for the sandbar experience" because that is not clear in the description. (I am not the first customer with this opinion). Also don't answer that the captain was driving so fast because "captain made a safety-based decision due to weather conditions at the time of your trip. ", the weather was perfect. Really a bad experience.

I do want to clarify a few important points for accuracy: - The tour you selected is a Sandbar‑only charter, and you received an automatic message sent immediately after booking—explains that this experience is focused on enjoying the sandbar rather than sightseeing along the coastline. I’ve included that confirmation message below for reference. - Regarding the navigation from Monty’s to Nixon Sandbar, a significant portion of that route is a designated no‑wake channel, which legally prevents any speeding.
