I had the best time on a boat tour in Miami with my best friend! Camilo was absolutely amazing—fun, professional, and full of good vibes. Rude check in lady. crowded boat. Advertised as it would be only my partner and I, definitely more than us. Booked for the unlimited tinto de verano and the lady who checked us in said I didn’t book for that and walked away.

it was a lot of fun, the guy telling us about the stuff was very cool and funny and it was really pretty. the only negative thing was that i specifically didn’t want the pirate ship and i also didn’t book the pirate ship but when i went there i was told i have to take the pirate ship because of the time slot i booked. i would wish for that to be communicated earlier.

The boat was super old and dirty, not what I expected for what I paid. My kids didn't enjoy it at all. The top deck was packed, and a staff member kept telling us to find a spot wherever we could, basically telling us to split up with our 7 and 9-year-olds. We ended up having to go back to the bottom deck, which was hot and humid even with AC because the windows were open, and they couldn't tell other passengers to close them. Terrible service and dirty. Seriously, don't waste your money on Aqua tour. The online pictures look great, but it's totally different in real life.

We booked last minute, but glad we did 9pm because it wasn’t as hot. The narrator was funny and informative. Would do it again.

Terrible instructions by email and in app. Had to get a printed ticket with the voucher but there is nothing at the address indicated. Ran back to line up and out of desperation, asked a man at the table in front of the line if he knew where I get the ticket and he was the one to issue it.

Thank you for your feedback. The check-in instructions and location details are provided on the ticket, and guests also receive this information by email before the tour. Bayside Marketplace is a very busy area with many businesses and vendors, which can sometimes make navigation more challenging.
We would also like to clarify that our boats are never oversold. Each vessel operates under a strict U.S. Coast Guard passenger capacity, and we never exceed that limit. Every guest is accommodated within the vessel’s approved seating capacity.

They put us on the wrong tour by accident and we were packed in like sardines. Some people were stuck inside because there were no more seats on the top deck

This tour is advertised as 2 hours long. It took 25 minutes to board the boat. We were moving for about 45-50 minutes during the tour. Then, we sat out in the water for 25+ minutes before docking. The actual tour portion of the trip was good, but it was less than half the advertised length of time. We were extremely disappointed.

This experience was horrible. I had no idea where to go. The instructions weren’t very clear so I asked a “Miami Aqua Tours” worker who was sitting under their tent where to go. I wanted to ensure I was in the right place because there were multiple lines and groups. All she said was down the steps. I get down the steps and find a line. I ask another worker was this the line I needed to be in? She said yes. I stood in line for over 40 min and when the guy finally walks over to me to scan my ticket, he tells me my ticket was for 7:30 and this is the 8:00 line. The 7:30 line was farther down the dock. If this is someone’s first time coming here how are they supposed to know where to go when it appears even the workers don’t know. He tells me to call customer service and see if they can rebook me. I do that and customer service tells me to speak with a rep onsite. I find another rep onsite under a “Miami Aqua Tours” tent and I also have customer service on my cell and he tells me he can’t help me because he can’t hear me. I will need to find someone else to talk to. What?!? Find yet another worker for assistance. The rep on the line says well I’ve been trying to contact them and no one is answering so I’ll send an email. Meanwhile $150 later, no cruise, and no rebooking. I just donated money to them. This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had!

Good tour and enjoyed seeing the Miami skyline at night, but it was hard to see the homes and other landmarks in the dark. I would do earlier in the evening if I were to do it again.

Great crew, the music was coordinated with the sights - someone took the extra time to create a playlist and the guide was both a DJ and delivered the sight info in both English and Spanish. It was a really fun evening. Would recommend.

If you are going on a hot day, which we did, be prepared to stand in a long line and wait about 30 to 40 min past their boarding time under no shade. I suggest taking sunscreen a d an umbrella. Also the directions to where to check in were not correct. The pirate ship was docked on the other end of pier 5, and instructions had us go to the opposite side. The cruise itself was fun.

How to run a luxury cruise around the bay:
1. Choose a rundown old boat and use parcel tape to repair seats.
2. Keep passengers waiting for 40 minutes before boarding for no good reason
3. Instead of welcoming everyone, start by shouting nastily at people standing on the top deck and force them into the hot, stuffy lower deck on the basis that they are blocking others’ view (when that is not the case at all).
5. Keep no record of food purchased with tickets and then respond to passengers’ requests with looks of bewilderment and irritation followed by indifference.
6. Play loud party music that becomes increasingly incongruous with the lack of atmosphere on your overcrowded tub.
7. Ensure that the trip is considerably shorter than advertised.
8. Conclude by explaining at length why you deserve lots of tips so you can be like the grubby billionaires whose island homes we’ve all been encouraged to drool over.
If that sounds like fun to you, then look no further!

No direct signs to indicate where to lineup for the cruise. The sales attendant knew I had been there for awhile before others; however she stated the line is behind this rope. The cruise left late, advertised as a 1.5 but more like a hour. I was expecting more! Not truly a pirate theme, tour guide constantly reminded everyone she worked for tips. Her English was not very good and I missed half of what she said. 10/10 do not recommend!

Did not last 1 1/2 hour like advertised. Was noisey and seating not the best. The boat was old and not a luxory experience. They had you fill out a card for a raffle that was a trick for a timeshare for all the African american people.

This was probably one of the most upsetting experiences we had in Miami. We specifically did not want to be put on a pirate ship, so we made sure to choose a different option when booking. When we got there, we tried to speak to a worker, but felt pressured to go on that pirate boat because she said that was the only one available. We felt scammed and felt like the description of the cruise ship was very misleading. I would give this negative reviews if I could.

The actual boat ride was entertaining and it was fairly priced. However, tour organization was poor. Operators did not clearly identify which line was for this tour (there were others nearby). It was quite confusing. Also, the tour address did not work for Uber or Lyft. Read carefully about the location.

The host was informative and energetic which was cute. The boat itself was a bit run down. The boarding process took a lot longer than it needed to. I expected a 90 min boat trip but you don’t take off for about 25 min after your “boarding time” so you’re on the water for just over an hour. The ride was smooth and staff was friendly. If I was going again I’d probably book a higher end experience with less passengers. This was average, hence the 3 stars.

If you’re booking the basic package for $60 it does not actually come with the wine option included. You are or the boat with everyone that booked other packages it’s not separate. If you don’t get in line earlier than 30 minutes you’ll get stuck on the bottom of the boat and it’s HOTT!! It was cool to see the celeb homes but that was about it. It’s cool if you’re looking for something to add to your trip.
Also, be fluent in Spanish if you have to call the company to speak to someone.

Boat boarded more than 20 minutes late. Narration was so loud and audio was so poor we couldn’t understand the tour. We missed our scheduled uber returning to our hotel because the boat returned more than 30 minutes after scheduled. It has great potential but cannot recommend at this time.

We arrived to be told we were on the pirate boat which was already full with limited seating. We had booked the other boat. . This didn’t meet at the point we had our ticket . We had to get the next boat which left 45 minutes later. They seem to do this if they don’t sell enough tickets. Disappointing as we enjoyed the cruise.
