It’s a nice tour to take to give you an insiders explanation of areas you see driving by on your way to South Beach. I’ve been to Miami many times, but this is actually the first time I learned a little about the little islands.

I purchased this deal. We arrived at the Miami airport and they were having suspicious activity with a travelers bags/luggage and was evacuating the airport. During this time; an elderly woman fell off the curve right in front of us. She was attempting to walk swiftly as the crowd was chaotic. She was walking with her cane. We were going to try and help her up but two men got her up and to safety immediately. During that ordeal, I lost my phone, assuming I dropped it. Although we tried to back track to find it, we were unsuccessful. Realized that the time got away from us, I had no way to log into anything. I went without my phone until the next morning at 10 am when Tmobile opened. I was able to google the number to Viator to let them know the situation and inform them that there was no way for us to make it to the meeting spot in time to participate and I requested a refund and they declined. I also requested a credit to my Viator account and they declined. I do not live in Miami, I was there for a cruise departure. I had proof that I filed a claim at the airport for my phone and could have provided them with the suspicious activity report from the airport as well. Not friendly or empathetic at all.

We understand your concerns regarding the refund and credit request. However, when a guest is unable to arrive for the scheduled experience, the booking is treated according to the cancellation and no-show terms provided at the time of purchase. These policies apply regardless of the circumstances that prevent a guest from attending.
As an alternative to a refund, we can leave the ticket open for up to one year, allowing the guest to reschedule the experience for a future date.
We also understand your comments regarding the communication you received. We appreciate you taking the time to explain the circumstances and will share your feedback with our team.

We went on the 8pm tour. Lena was our tour guide. She was very entertaining and made the experience engaging and fun. The skyline was beautiful at night. I recommend this tour.

We could not understand half of what the hostess was saying. When we tried to find out where to go following their instructions we were given the run around about where to go we walked back and forth for 45 min until we finally saw the boat come in and it was not at the Hard Rock Cafe as the instructions said.

Check in was a little confusing. It listed to look for a red umbrella and mentioned a pirate ship. I found a nice women agent and was re-reouted to the correct white umbrella where there was also a friendly man agent.
We had our photo taken then got on the boat. The tour guide was very informative and witty. The tour itself was very interesting and taught us things we didn't know about Miami. There was a bar to get drinks but I didn't get anything.
We were given a sheet to fill in our info for a raffle and I won!! So excited for that. :)
I will definitely recommend this tour to anyone I know who comes to Miami!

They switched my trip from 9 to 9:30pm saying this trip couldn’t take off at 9 but I could switch to a 9:30 or 8:30 trip. I figured I’d go with 9:30pm since I was looking forward to the skyline being lit up. Come to find out the 9:30 trip was a party boat which I didn’t want. It was more younger people and I just wasn’t feeling the whole trip. Wish I could have just kept the trip I booked as that was more along the lines of what I wanted.. a lil chill more relaxed view and vibe.

The 9:00 PM departure was unavailable, so our team offered two alternatives: 8:30 PM or 9:30 PM. The 9:30 PM option was offered as a party-style experience, meaning it has a livelier atmosphere and is different from the more relaxed sightseeing cruise originally booked. This alternative was provided so you could choose whether the later departure suited your plans.
We understand that, after choosing the 9:30 PM option, the atmosphere was not what you personally preferred. We appreciate your feedback and understand that a quieter, more relaxed experience would have been a better match for what you were looking for.

Went around Biscayne, pointed out celebrity homes, port of Miami, various islands (private) - spoke several languages (Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and English) so long repeats. Basic ride going around.

Captain Julio was awesome and Lina was the commentator was alse great. Getting on was initially hectic and nit appeared there was not enough seating as some were standing.

This boat is old and dirty. On first appearance I was apprehensive to even get on - I wasn’t very confident in its safety.
Workers were rude and all they are concerned with is selling pics (1 pic for $20) and their tips

Rude check in lady. crowded boat. Advertised as it would be only my partner and I, definitely more than us. Booked for the unlimited tinto de verano and the lady who checked us in said I didn’t book for that and walked away.

it was a lot of fun, the guy telling us about the stuff was very cool and funny and it was really pretty. the only negative thing was that i specifically didn’t want the pirate ship and i also didn’t book the pirate ship but when i went there i was told i have to take the pirate ship because of the time slot i booked. i would wish for that to be communicated earlier.

The boat was super old and dirty, not what I expected for what I paid. My kids didn't enjoy it at all. The top deck was packed, and a staff member kept telling us to find a spot wherever we could, basically telling us to split up with our 7 and 9-year-olds. We ended up having to go back to the bottom deck, which was hot and humid even with AC because the windows were open, and they couldn't tell other passengers to close them. Terrible service and dirty. Seriously, don't waste your money on Aqua tour. The online pictures look great, but it's totally different in real life.

Our vessels are inspected and operated in accordance with applicable U.S. Coast Guard requirements, and seating and passenger capacity are managed according to safety regulations. The top deck can become more limited during busy departures, and our crew must follow the seating and capacity guidelines in place for each sailing. This is not intended to separate families, but rather to ensure that we operate within the required safety limits.
Regarding the lower deck, our vessels are equipped with air conditioning, although ventilation can vary depending on the conditions and whether windows are open. Our crew does their best to maintain a comfortable environment while also managing the needs of all passengers onboard.
We also take cleanliness seriously and have procedures in place to prepare the vessel before each departure. We understand that the appearance of a vessel can be subjective, particularly when expectations are based on promotional photography, but the experience shown online reflects the actual vessel and tour.
We booked last minute, but glad we did 9pm because it wasn’t as hot. The narrator was funny and informative. Would do it again.

Terrible instructions by email and in app. Had to get a printed ticket with the voucher but there is nothing at the address indicated. Ran back to line up and out of desperation, asked a man at the table in front of the line if he knew where I get the ticket and he was the one to issue it.

We would also like to clarify that our boats are never oversold. Each vessel operates under a strict U.S. Coast Guard passenger capacity, and we never exceed that limit. Every guest is accommodated within the vessel’s approved seating capacity.

This tour is advertised as 2 hours long. It took 25 minutes to board the boat. We were moving for about 45-50 minutes during the tour. Then, we sat out in the water for 25+ minutes before docking. The actual tour portion of the trip was good, but it was less than half the advertised length of time. We were extremely disappointed.

This experience was horrible. I had no idea where to go. The instructions weren’t very clear so I asked a “Miami Aqua Tours” worker who was sitting under their tent where to go. I wanted to ensure I was in the right place because there were multiple lines and groups. All she said was down the steps. I get down the steps and find a line. I ask another worker was this the line I needed to be in? She said yes. I stood in line for over 40 min and when the guy finally walks over to me to scan my ticket, he tells me my ticket was for 7:30 and this is the 8:00 line. The 7:30 line was farther down the dock. If this is someone’s first time coming here how are they supposed to know where to go when it appears even the workers don’t know. He tells me to call customer service and see if they can rebook me. I do that and customer service tells me to speak with a rep onsite. I find another rep onsite under a “Miami Aqua Tours” tent and I also have customer service on my cell and he tells me he can’t help me because he can’t hear me. I will need to find someone else to talk to. What?!? Find yet another worker for assistance. The rep on the line says well I’ve been trying to contact them and no one is answering so I’ll send an email. Meanwhile $150 later, no cruise, and no rebooking. I just donated money to them. This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had!

Good tour and enjoyed seeing the Miami skyline at night, but it was hard to see the homes and other landmarks in the dark. I would do earlier in the evening if I were to do it again.
