Worth it. Ask about the back side of Molokini crater!

Great experience! Small boat makes it funner than a large boat with dozens of people. Good for people looking for a more intimate experience and not crowds. Got to see lots of turtles, reefs. Sounds like they typically do two stops, but we got to stop and snorkel on the back side/steep side of Molokini crater. It was amazing. That made the trip much more worth it!

Great trip! Staff/crew were excellent. Captain skilled, knowledgeable and quite funny. We'll organized, from the gear to the food and beverage. Snorkeling was fantastic. Felt safe at all times. Don't be ashamed to use flotation! It helped to just focus on what you were seeing. Get there early for choice of seating. Parking nearer the boat is pay- easily done. Would definitely recommend.

Incredible Snorkeling Experience

We have been on dozens of snorkeling excursions around the world, and this was truly one of the best, if not the best experience we’ve ever had. Joe is an exceptional guide. His goal was to give us an unforgettable experience and he absolutely delivered. Joe is warm, engaging, and professional, and he goes above and beyond. This is not a typical boat tour, which we loved. We entered the water directly from Makena Beach and swam out to the reef, making the experience feel more personal and immersive. Joe knew exactly where to go and what to look for, and his expertise made all the difference. Everything we needed was provided; fins, snorkels, masks, life vests... and underwater scooters are available to rent if you want an effortless way to explore. We saw multiple sea turtles up close (we respected the 10 foot distance rule while watching the them) and Joe pointed out marine life we've rarely scene in nature. His ability to spot unusual creatures is truly impressive. One of the highlights was the photography. Joe captured incredible photos of us with wildlife in the background—images we will treasure forever and even more meaningful are the memories he helped create. When in Maui, we will absolutely book all future snorkel trips with Joe at Turtle Town Snorkel & Octopus Guided Tour With Photo and Video. Great for families!

Our family had a great time! Even though the weather wasn’t good for Molokini crater, they brought us to a great spot where we saw tons of fish, turtles, and even whales on our way back! Breakfast, lunch and the open bar were just an added bonus! I would highly recommend. And our son loved the water slide.

So much fun on this afternoon snorkel

We love the Malolo! It is large enough to move around but small enough to have a more fun and personal experience. We always try to book at least one trip on this particular boat each time we visit Maui. The crew is always super nice and friendly and they make excellent mai tais too! We saw some great whale action on the way back to the harbor and Captain Steve let us watch them for a little while. It was amazing! The crew, Boz and Ashley were really fun and nice and we got some amazing pictures of our snorkeling from Cailin. We didn't bring underwater cameras, but her pictures were so good, we just got to enjoy our time in the water even more.

Luau at Sheraton

Luau was really good….the performers did everything on stage. We were expecting them to come down and dance with the crowd, but that did not happen. They did have a song in which they invited all of the couples to come and dance a slow dance. The food was very good – a great selection. We encourage you to try a little of everything. Desserts and drinks were also good. The only thing that we would say is that the directions to getting to the luau itself (on the property) should be more clear. We walked from a neighboring hotel and had to ask several times for directions. Overall, it was a great experience.
