It was a wonderful experience! Andres was incredibly friendly, took great care of us and our experience, and we had a blast. It was our first time kayaking, and he explained in detail how to move, how to navigate, and how to do everything safely. We enjoyed a beautiful morning and swam for almost an hour among turtles, fish, and coral. It was definitely the best 3 hours we've spent in Maui.
If you don't have access to your waterproof camera gear, they'll capture every moment.
To be repeated and experienced again. I recommend it to everyone.

disappointing at best since we did not see any turtles becuase of the weather. we booked this a day before and they never told us about the weather problem.

Andres, our guide, was awesome. He was super fun and made the trip fun and memorable. We saw a couple whales and where we stopped to snorkel, there was just about no one else there. Seems like he knows all the best spots. We saw lots of turtles and great coral while we were were in the water. I would definitely book this again if I go back to Maui.

We saw whales breaching out of the water while we were on kayaks. A once in a lifetime experience. The wind and ocean were too choppy for snorkeling but Andres was an amazing guide and kept us safe an entertained.

This was probably the best excursion I have ever done visiting Hawaii. Andres was absolutely amazing, attentive, and informative. He ensured we were always safe and was very thorough in instructions. He brought us on a slight detour to see humpback whales and we saw so many! Best tour I’ve ever done.

Very nice activity, we like to kayak and hadn't snorkeled in years, but it was an easy peasy experience. Andres will take underwater photos if you want to (for an extra charge) We saw a ton of turtles and lots of pretty little fish. Would recommend.

We had a super great guide! John knew so much about the ecosystems, area and best way to handle being on the water and snorkeling. Small group, great personal service and genuinely wanted to ensure the group had a great experience. I would highly recommend this trip. It’s the right length of time for an excursion if you don’t want a full day consumed with a group and with a guide that appeared to love what he does!

My 10 year-old turtle loving son and I had the most incredible experience on this tour. Andres was so incredibly patient with my son when he was nervous about snorkeling for the first time. He also shared wonderful stories about Maui and his own personal travels. We saw several turtles while snorkeling and the views while kayaking were breathtaking.

John was amazing. He did an amazing job explaining how to use the equipment and gave us some good snorkeling advice. We saw a monk seal, eels, tons of turtles, a spotted eagle ray, and an octopus! We have previously gone on a boat/lunch/snorkel and a catamaran/snorkel excursion, this was by FAR the best! I loved that there was just 7 of us so we really got a personalized trip and John was so knowledgeable about all the ocean life and the different area he really made this trip 5 star. I would highly recommend this snorkel kayak trip to anyone. Thank you John!!!

We were scheduled for a kayak tour to Turtle Town with Maui Kayaks. We arrived at the meeting point at 7am the way we were instructed to. Other tour companies were there EXCEPT Maui Kayaks. The other companies on site advised me "You should give them a call bc they probably won't show up" "I don't know what's been going on with those guys" As if their sad reputation has been well known & this is a reoccurring issue with Maui Kayaks. I called Maui Kayaks only for them to tell me they had "mechanical issues" and will have to cancel the excursion. No heads up prior or notification of this "mechanical issues" It took me having to drive all the way out to the meeting point & call them to be notified my tour was cancelled. There was another couple on site who booked with Maui Kayaks that were also told at the meeting point that their tour was cancelled as well. So unprofessional and so disappointing that we flew 10+ hrs & planned for months to do this excursion here and were just cancelled without any prior notification or heads up. A message earlier or the day before would've allowed us time to plan for other activities. Such a let down, unacceptable & unprofessional. Will be requesting a refund. DO NOT BOOK WITH MAUI KAYAKS.

Andre was amazingly patient with me and my 10 year old nervous granddaughter. We had the best , safest time with Andre! Turtles, fishies, great new friends! I highly recommend this trip! We kayaked right by Adam Sandler house! Beautiful area, water was clear and beautiful, too many sights to mention and the most patient, wonderful guide a nervous grandmother could hope for! The activity has been cancelled the last two times we’ve tried to do it. Not the operators fault but a shame to drive an hour to not be able to enjoy the activity.

John the guide was great. He thoroughly enjoyed his job and making sure we had a good time. Relaxed paddle to an area where we snorkeled and saw lots of turtles and other reef fish. Was a small group with just a few other kayaks. Had a 6YO and 8YO who both felt comfortable with the tandem kayaks and area we snorkled.

Solo trip to Maui snorkeled in Turtle Town before on a boat but this time wanted a more active experience so did kayaking and it was great! Saw more turtles this time around. Andres our tour guide was excellent making sure we knew what to expect and that we were safe and comfortable. Was very attentive in making sure great photos with fish and turtle encounters were not missed if we wanted any photos or videos. Informative during the trail over and back. Plenty of swimming time.

Our family of four with two teenagers had an amazing experience visiting turtle town with our guide Andreas. He was super friendly and helpful. He made sure everyone was comfortable, able get set up and kayak to the reef and the turtles! The people in our group had all levels of experience with snorkeling and kayaking, and everyone had a great time!
We had an especially great day with over a dozen turtles coming to visit our group. The weather was beautiful. We could not have asked for a better time would recommend without hesitation.

This is a fabulous outing for anyone who would like a kayak paddle on clear blue ocean water with the reward of swimming with sea turtles, amazing! This was hands down the highlight of our Hawaii experiences. Guide Andres was amazing & took so many awesome photos.

John was an excellent guide! He was incredibly kind and thorough. He took great care of my my six and ten year old kids and made sure they were having a good time while both kayaking and snorkeling. The tour caps the number of participants to ten, so it will always be a smaller group tour. We were lucky enough to be the only ones on our tour. So far, this has most certainly been the highlight of our trip! The snorkeling was incredible! I would highly encourage you to upgrade and get some photos taken by the guide as well. They have some sort of 4K enhancement and the photos looked like something you would see on a website promoting Maui. Absolutely incredible! Thank you John for the incredible morning. My kids will be talking about this tour for a long time. I can’t recommend this tour enough!
