Shelby, was sooooo nice, knowledgeable, and thorough to her approach to the entire event. She knows how to show guests a great time while always ensuring our safety. Believe me, she is very patient. We saw turtles and stunning fish, including eels. While I was a little nervous about the e-scooter, once I got the hang of it, it was great! Thanks to Seth too for surprising us with an unincluded warm chocolate chip cookie.

Amazing instructor, incredible fun, e-scooter is a life saver. We saw 3 big sea turtles and many starfish and various fish.

Unless you are a great swimmer, get a life vest. Makes it so much easier and more enjoyable. We also enjoyed the propellers.

Joe was super understanding and fun. He was able to give us great information on the sea life and education on how to snorkel safely. We saw lots of turtles, been to Hawaii 4 times and best experience ever!

Out of all the times I've snorkeled, my best time was with Joe! Skip all those boat tours that let you go on your own for an hour and book with Zephyr! Joe went out of his way to spot things for us and brought it to us to see and touch n bonus for pictures! We saw turtles, a reef shark, fishes and was even able to hold an octopus!

Disappointing customer service. We booked 6 people for this trip specifically for the e-scooter portion. Otherwise, it’s very easy to rent or bring your own snorkel equipment and find great places to snorkel. When we got there, only 2 of the e-scooters were working (and one of them broke during our tour). The guide told us “well they were supposed to call you last night to tell you but I guess they didn’t.”
The snorkeling experience itself went fine, but the price is certainly not worth it without the e-scooters, and they didn’t even have the courtesy of telling us ahead of time that the scooters weren’t functional. The guide actually told us that they were considering getting rid of the scooters all together because of how problematic they were. Yet they were happy to take our money (>$800).
Afterwards, I reached out to the manager to get a partial refund. There was some phone tag and several texts that were not responded to. After 3 months, I had contacted Viator twice and was only given an insignificant refund.
Overall, incredibly disappointing. There are many great snorkel locations that you can either guide yourself or find another company that is more reliable and customer-considerate. I do not recommend this tour.

Aloha. We are sorry we had some equipment issues with the e-scooters. When you reached out we did agree to a 50% refund. Since you did in fact do the tour, we fully understand the frustration with paying for a service and not having the e-scooters work. We had been sure the evening before that we had all 8 scooters working for your group, unfortunately tech issues with the scooters can come up even when the gear worked the night before on our nightly gear check. That said, we are looking to switch out companies with the scooters since we have had many issues with these machines. I am glad you enjoyed our services other than the broken gear. For our guests reading, this is not the turtle town snorkel with photo and video tour, so if you are booking that there is no need to worry!

Joe was super awesome! He made sure we got the full experience. One person in our party was not comfortable using the jet, but he ensured she was able to participate by pulling her along by his board. He even put his skills to the test and we saw a beautiful octopus. One of the coolest snorkling trips, thanks Joe!

I had a scooter snorkel tour with Rachel at Turtle Town. She was very friendly and knowledgeable about diving and the ecosystem we were visiting. We saw tons of sea life and multiple turtles. Rachel took lots of pictures to document the experience. I highly recommend this company. It was a fun once in a lifetime experience. The scooters were super fun too!

We had Joe as our guide. He was amazing! It was a very personal experience and he took some great shots of us in and out of the water. We did another snorkeling trip with a bigger group and this was by far a better experience. He found sea creatures for us to look at and was right there with us if we had any questions about anything. It was a great experience and I highly recommend!

Joe was an amazing PERSON! He made sure my mostly female family party of 6 was always in sight while finding turtles, octopi, sea urchins, sea stars and other interesting ocean life to point out to us. A turtle swam right under us! Thank goodness he filmed it because we would’ve never known!!!

Joe was amazing. No where else do you get such personalized attention. He was very patient with inexperienced snorkelers, while the more experienced snorkelers were able to really explore on their own. The E-scooters made it easy to explore and even dive down to get up close and personal with the sea life. Highly recommend this for all ability levels. And make sure to purchase the pictures, Joe takes excellent pictures and videos.

Amazing experience!! This was my first time snorkeling so I was scared at first, but man was it worth it. Our guide Joe did a great job making it a fun and memorable experience for all. He did a great job of pointing out different wild life such as sea stars, turtles, sea urchins, lots of fish and coral and even an octopus! 10/10 would recommend!

In our trips to Maui we have done many activities with our teenage boys (surfing, whale watching, zip lining, snorkel tours,etc.). The e-scooter tour with Zephyr has been hands down the best one! Joe was an amazing guide and went out of his way to personalize the adventure. Holding a baby octopus was a one of a kind experience as well as swimming with multiple turtles, star fish, and we got lucky and saw a white tip shark. The jets were a bonus to the trip that the boys loved. Thanks Joe for the memories! Oh and the pics are AMAZING.

Using the Escooter was amazing and a lot of fun! I was very disappointed in the photo package. 1) Too expensive 2) Doesn't support Android users. The snorkel/ free dive experience was shorter than expected. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable though which made the experience pretty awesome.

What a fantastic adventure! The Scooters made swimming effortless and fun. We were able to get within just a few feet of the beautiful sea turtles and they didn't seem to mind swimming with us at all. Joe, our tour guide was amazing. He didn't just get us to where the turtle cave was and leave us like some tour operators do. Instead, he swam with us the whole time and took videos and still pictures. He dove down and brought up colorful urchins for us to hold and tried to find an octopus, but they were too shy. On the way back to shore, we even saw a spotted eagle ray, which is apparently a rare experience. It also swam with us for quite a while. So cool. Our group was small...just 4 of us, which made the experience even better. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND ZEPHYR TOURS and this experience on Maui. Be sure to ask for Joe to be your guide. You won't be disappointed.

This was one of the coolest snorkeling adventures I’ve ever done! The jets are super cool and the location was gorgeous. Our guide, Joe was rad and made sure we had a safe but entertaining swim. We saw giant turtles, all kinds of fish and coral, and octopus. I can die happy now, after the octopus meet and greet! 🤣 Do yourself a favor, book with Zephyr and ask for Joe.

This is one of the better activities at a reasonable price. Joe was a great tour guide. We saw several turtles up close. The pictures were great. Got to hold a star fish, and sea enemini. Even saw a small shark resting. Great day, Thanks Joe.
