Climb aboard the Calypso, a triple-decker catamaran, and sail to the renowned Molokini Crater, home to over 200 fish species, manta rays, and other marine wonders. Enjoy amenities like a glass-bottom viewing room and water slides while relishing a delicious continental breakfast.

AMAZING experience! All of the staff were awesome and the cruise/tour was run so efficiently. The snorkeling was breathtaking. The fish were beautiful and I lost count of how many giant sea turtles I saw!! My teenagers LOVED the snorkeling and using the GoPro to document their adventure. They also loved jumping off the platform and sliding down the slide. The staff made this experience so wonderful. They were all super knowledgeable, patient, and fun!! HIGHLY recommend this tour on Calypso!

Had a great time at Molokini even though time was cut short because the waves were increasing. Went to and saw a turtle and some creatures at the second stop. Boat staff was amazing and onboard amenities and food was great. Highly recommended! Boat is packed so be patient and expect to be run into and kicked when snorkeling.

This was a great day for refreshing waters, beautiful scenery and smooth boating. My wife had her first experience with snorkeling and really liked it. The crew was awesome and super helpful all day. Would highly recommend this excursion

This was a great experience. We booked last minute (2 days prior) and got in! Parking is LIMITED and tight. Show up early. And you have to pay. When we walked up it was A LOT more people than i expected but, once everyone was on the boat it didn’t feel crowded at all. They provide flipper fins (i brought my own bc it didn’t specify in the details). They had plenty of crew members, snacks and beverages the whole trip. ***I get VERY motion sick and was skeptical about being on the water for 5.5 hours but, was convinced I’d be okay since it’s a “bigger boat”. I will tell you that it wasn’t bad. I sat in the front. I wasn’t feeling good towards on the last stop while we were waiting for everyone to load up. but, once we were moving and headed back to port, i was good. There were several young kids on the boat and went out on the water. They did so good. As a childless person, i was shocked. So it’s very kid friendly. Not many wildlife sightings but just swimming in those spots was amazing. 10/10 would recommend.

The boat captain and the other people working on the boat were friendly and attentive. They showed us how to snorkel appropriately. We saw tons of tropical fish, 2 sea turtles and even eels! Great experience

Such an incredible experience. The group is massive so it was great for first time snorkeling and kids. Definitely recommend getting there 45 minutes early. Food was actually pretty good and they have plenty of water and juices. Crew was phenomenal, I would definitely book this again. Molokini Crater was unreal, and I highly reccomend the go pro or photo package. So worth it!!

Get there early as the last to board have trouble finding a seat and food picked over. People were using seats for their belongings and had no intention of moving their items for us to sit. Too crowded for us. We arrived 30 minutes early but were at the end of the line formed in the parking lot. Need a system for meals as no clear instructions on the buffet line so everyone is coming from different sides which makes the experience chaotic. We did not get to go to Molokini as sea too rough. The staff were hardworking and very nice.

It was fabulous and the crew was excellent and attentive.This was our first time snorkeling. I wish I would’ve practiced before going out on this amazing excursion. It was good for beginners but better if you already have some experience.
Even though it was a big group on the boat, we had plenty of space.

Had a great time on the Calypso. Crew was awesome, very attentive and we had a great time. Snorkeling was fun, it was super windy, but I think that’s normal. Totally worth it and a great experience.

We sailed all the way out to the crater. When we arrived, the captain deemed the waters unsafe to snorkel in. Honestly, what century are we in? Wouldn’t it have been possible to use your navigational tools or message ahead to some of the other 15 boats that were at the crater? We then went to turtle town to snorkel and the conditions were terrible. The captain said we were going to go back and try again to snorkel at the crater. Obviously we got there and it was a no go. We spent the rest of the time just wasting time. Honesty is huge and I just wish they would’ve said that we can’t snorkel there and cancel the trip or at least have been upfront and honest that this trip isn’t going to be what you signed up for. I spent $1300 on my family of seven and they were all really upset! We go to Maui about 2 to 3 times a year and this was by far the worst snorkeling trip we’ve ever had! It was so hot on the boat and rocky. We were just literally cruising in the heat doing absolutely nothing. I asked one of the staff members what we were doing, and he said that the captain said everybody was finishing their lunch. I looked around and absolutely nobody was eating lunch as everyone was finished. They were just completely wasting our time. I would’ve rather just have gone back two hours early instead of sitting there roasting in the sun having a terrible time! The bottom line is, if you can’t execute the description on the itinerary, the boat should not go out! I will say that the staff was nice and the food was delicious. They offered an open bar at no cost, but my family doesn’t drink alcohol so that really didn’t benefit us. I feel the only fair thing to do with a bill of almost $1300 is to issue a 30% refund!

A good overall experience but not a trip I would book again. We went on a smaller boat last year and wanted to try something different for our 3 kids age 11 & 5. We were drawn to the glass bottom, slides and jumping platform.
The crew was very friendly and provided very good guidance on the trip.
The two locations we visited were ok but personally we enjoyed sailing north on the island more than the crater and “turtle town”.
Food was fine coffee was awful.
There were multiple people on our trip who were return customers so everyone’s experience may very clearly some people really like the trip.

Great experience. Because of the tropical depression south of Maui we were unable to snorkel at Molokini Crater. The Captain deemed it unsafe which was a good call. He took us to Turtle town and the waters were much calmer. Saw several sea turtles. The crew was attentive to those who got sea sick. If the weather service calls for a wind advisory you might want to take something for seasickness because there were alot of people who got sick. We were the last boat to go out for the next couple of days because of the choppy water.

This tour was extremely fun! The guides were friendly, helpful, and attentive. We had a blast snorkeling at both locations and saw so many turtles. They also serve two meals and snacks so you get your moneys worth for sure. Highly recommend!

It was amazing. Just one thing. They need to have a better way to review the photos taken by their photographer. Currently you have to look through them on your own and that is a lot to do. Other than that it's AWESOME!!

We had good trip with Calypso. They took us to two spots. One to Molokini crater and other to Turtle village. Instructors were friendly and photographer was great. We could see colorful fishes and so many Turtles. It is worth.

We were not experienced snorkelers, but the crew ensured that we had all of the info we needed to have an excellent experience. Molokini Crater and Turtle Town were both wonderful! The food was plentiful and better than expected, and the service was top-notch.

This is a huge boat so if you are looking for a big one, you found the one. Unfortunately the huge boat meant WAY TOO many people to snorkel with and deal with on the boat. The crew was great, food was pretty good, service good but there were probably 150 on the boat so it was like people soup when we were all snorkeling. Don’t go on this if you want a more intimate experience. There were soooooo many passengers crowding the turtles we actually chose to get out because it was sad to watch. The crew on the surfboard was trying to tell the people to give the turtles room but it’s hard when it was 1 crew member to at least 50/60 people there.

Had an amazing time on the Calypso! 🤩 The food was delicious, and the crew was absolutely outstanding and incredibly attentive. One of our party members was a bit anxious about snorkeling in the cold water, but the staff were so reassuring and attentive as she re-entered. Another person in our group wasn't feeling well due to motion sickness, and the crew was all hands on deck, making sure she felt better and didn't miss any of the sights. Calypso offers snorkeling at Turtle Cove, a platform for jumping, and a slide! Overall, it was great fun! 🐢🐠 #Calypso #Snorkeling #Crew #Food #Fun

People come and stand in line before 6:45 AM in order to get optimal seating. It appears that they sold more seats than they actually have because they use plastic movable seats to add to ends etc. My family was split on two levels and cramped but we were a big party. Selfish people will board seats for their bags despite space under seat to store bags.
The bottom is not even an area where you can sit and watch the glass bottom There arecertain pockets of windows that you can see when you down and look at it and then come back up.
The food and service was excellent. The staff are my reason for the three stars. I wound give staff alone five stars
The easiest thing I learned was to use the Pool noodle in the sea. This will take all your anxiety away regarding the open sea. It was safe. The water was tranquil and clear at Molokoni and I saw a few fish not a lot at all.
I didn’t see a single turtle at turtle town and neither did anyone else and the water was a little murky.
The parking situation is tight and cramped and it delayed my arrival. Spaces are tight and cramped.
For me, I don’t think it’s worth the whining of teenagers and young kids etc but many young kids did great with their parents in the water. Two of my kids did not enter the water and other relatives were sea sick. Make sure you pre-medicate and do not wait for your nausea to start to take medicine.

It was a great experience. The crew was really helpful, and friendly. They were very professional and made sure everyone was safe. The food was good, the atmosphere was good, the crew did everything they could to make it a good experience. The only negative I could say is we didn’t see a single turtle and we were really excited about seeing turtles. I think the crew did the best they could to give us that experience, but the ocean and the turtles didn’t cooperate that day.
