AMAZING experience! All of the staff were awesome and the cruise/tour was run so efficiently. The snorkeling was breathtaking. The fish were beautiful and I lost count of how many giant sea turtles I saw!! My teenagers LOVED the snorkeling and using the GoPro to document their adventure. They also loved jumping off the platform and sliding down the slide. The staff made this experience so wonderful. They were all super knowledgeable, patient, and fun!! HIGHLY recommend this tour on Calypso!

The Calypso is a beautiful ship with friendly, helpful, and knowledgable crew. We thoroughly enjoyed our snorkel experience. There was even a little "snorkel class" that the captain offered to guests if you wanted more information, which was definitely helpful. One of the crew members, Eddie, even gave us wonderful recommendations for our stay in beautiful Maui (Lava Fields and La Perouse Bay). We were also able to have a whale-watching tour, in which the crew gave interesting facts to provide some insight.
Advice: get there EXTRA early! There are a lot of boats at that dock and parking can get a little stressful. Regardless, this experience was 10/10.

Food and drink avaialble as soon as we boarded and throughout the day. Good snorkeling gear and very efficient set up to get us in and out of the water. On the flip side, It was crowded and the chairs/tables were very close together.

First class experience! Well organized, safety issues ,emphasized, crew very attentive. Exiting water much easier than most snorkel trips due to eight ladders being available for snorkel clips and swimmers. High-quality snorkel equipment made for few problems!

Everything on the boat was Nicely organized. The crew took care of every one and was very sweet. Was a little disappointed that we didn’t see any sea turtles. The fish we saw were beautiful but limited. We stopped at two places, molokini crater which is where all the fish were and turtle town, but didn’t see any turtles. We ended up seeing a lot of whales which was pretty cool. I probably wouldn’t book again but was a great experience

The crew was wonderful and informative. Disappointed to find out that due to the current we would not be able to stop at Molokini, which was the biggest thing I was looking forward to on this trip. Wish the crew would have told us upfront and offered a refund prior to leaving the dock and announcing upon arrival that they were just going straight to Turtle Town. Breakfast was good, lunch was average and they threw in free drinks. They spent the rest of the time looking for whales, which was exciting for some of the guests, but we had already been on an eco-raft whale excision earlier in the week and it was beyond amazing. There was another boat at the crater all day. I guess overall I would rate it a 7/10.

If you are looking for a party boat or have kids you should book this excursion. If you are looking to snorkel you should avoid it. The boat has good food, slides, drinks, and fun but they routinely don’t take you to the crater to Snorkel. The alternate location we were taken to had three turtles, but hardly anything else to look at. This may be our only trip to Maui and to miss the crater was a huge disappointment. I saw other boats there while ours decided not to go. If you really want to go to the crater book elsewhere

Had an amazing experience with Calypso!
Snorkeling at Molokini was absolutely incredible — crystal-clear water, excellent visibility, and we even saw sea turtles up close. The reef was vibrant and full of marine life.
As if that wasn’t enough, on the way there we witnessed the most majestic whale action — truly breathtaking and unexpected. It made the entire trip feel magical.
The crew was professional, organized, and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend this tour if you’re in Maui! 🌊🐢🐋

We had a spectacular experience on this snorkling adventure. Molokini was a beautiful place to snorkel and the turtles were out in the bay the took us to see them. The whale watching was an amazing bonus and we saw more whales than I have ever seen on any whale watching excursion. The staff was fun, friendly, and knowledgeable, and the snacks and food served was from Whole Foods and it was delicious. This is well worth the time and money. The photos that Ryan, the photographer took were well done and made the trip even better. All in all it was a 10 out of 10

Turtle town was first and then Molokini for us. They opened the slide at Molokini. Food was plentiful. They slowed down on the way back for whales. Plenty of waves so some people became sick. See-through raft for littles. Morning tour was laid back with little music and alcohol. We saw several whales. Saw one turtle at Turtle Town.

The crew was friendly, entertaining and knowledgeable. On our way to the snorkeling spot we saw many, many whales and had to stop several times to let them cross our path (oh darn😀). There were not as may varieties of fish as I’d hoped but the landscape of the ocean floor was beautiful.

Fantastic trip and even better crew! This crew gave 100% all the time to make sure everyone was safe and having fun. Usually there are 1 or 2 people that stand out and add to the enjoyment, but each and every one of them did!
The equipment was nice and well maintained, the boat was well maintained and comfortable as well.

The best snorkel experience on the island. This tour is extremely well-run, with friendly staff and a very comfortable boat.
The captain and crew were very informative and there was plenty of food available during the tour. We went with a 9 year old and 12 year old and it felt very safe. There were 3 lifeguards on duty at all times and they were very proactive keeping an eye out for us. Can’t recommend this tour enough for families.

This is a fabulous and fun excursion! Calypso and their crew were very attentive and so helpful. The photographer ensured that each passenger was included in action shots. Thank you!! The captain and first mate are outstanding and the crew provided informative historical background about the islands, the marine life and culture. An unexpected monk seal swam into the snorkelers and I got to see him and his whiskers in front of me.

Great crew, explained everything that we needed and why. Very efficient. Delicious breakfast. Snacks and also lunch. Teenage kids ate with no complaints. Very helpful with the snorkeling in and out of the boat just all around a good experience for all. We also got to see whale on our snorkeling tour and the captain explained why the whales did what they did so that was very helpful good information.
