At this oceanfront, Kaanapali sunset luau, feast on an all-you-can-eat, delicious self-service Hawaiian cooking buffet, and settle in for a fiery evening of authentic Polynesian dancing. Through chants, stories, dances, and songs, take a journey across the Pacific from Hawaii to Fiji and Samoa, and watch in amazement at the fast-paced, Tahitian hip shaking splendor. There are also traditional Hawaiian dances, such as the tale of the Princess Kalua, as well as everyone’s fiery favorite—the Samoan fire and knife show.

The luau is an outdoor activity. Dress code is aloha casual, and hat, sunscreen and sunglasses are strongly recommended.
Infants and toddlers (age 0-5) are free but must be included in the headcount on your booking if they require a seat/booster/highchair.
Tables can accommodate a maximum of 12 chairs. Larger parties will be split between adjacent tables.
Please notify the luau in advance if bringing a service dog.
Guests requiring assistance to the luau grounds should make this request at the bell desk.

Great show, entertainment and experience. Well worth every dollar and lasted almost 3 hours. Food and dessert was delicious and the pulled pork was the best I have had. The wife and I will definitely do it again if we bring the kids next time.

Meh wouldn’t go again.

It was indoors due to weather predictions. Our table was in the back so it was difficult to see anything. We paid for nine of us and I wish I would have canceled. Felt like we were at a wedding. The food was decent but everything else was subpar. They took a group picture and it was $30 for a barcode link we could share but that didn’t include the printed picture, that would be another $20. Drinks were not great either. I would recommend whale watching, much more worth it.

This is a nice luau with fire dancers and above average food. It’s pretty pricey, depending on attendance the premium seating isn’t really worth it, we were still on the second row of tables with limited visibility.

Show, food, and people were all great. It was raining so show was inside and didn’t get true Luau experience because was inside and felt more like a wedding. No fault of performers or personal. I would highly recommend and hopefully you have better weather and can be outside.

It was unfortunately held inside. It started very late, was not very long. Soooo much waiting around. We could not understand the MC at all. The food was decent. Drinks were awful. Dancers did a good job.

Luau at Sheraton

Luau was really good….the performers did everything on stage. We were expecting them to come down and dance with the crowd, but that did not happen. They did have a song in which they invited all of the couples to come and dance a slow dance. The food was very good – a great selection. We encourage you to try a little of everything. Desserts and drinks were also good. The only thing that we would say is that the directions to getting to the luau itself (on the property) should be more clear. We walked from a neighboring hotel and had to ask several times for directions. Overall, it was a great experience.

Very relaxed atmosphere with a great view. The show was enjoyable and interactive. We’ve been to multiple luau’s and this is a fairly routine one with a little flash. It used to be longer and had more side activities for kids years past and that was a missing piece for us this year. Food was good.

Free Parking and validation were easy. We enjoyed the cultural pre-show activities and flower leis. The host was exceptional and the young dancers were spectacular. I’ve been to a few luaus and would do this one again. One of the highlights was after the lighting of the torches along Black Rock, the man lighting them did a beautiful swan dive into the ocean. The food was plentiful and a large variety. Even my 10 year old went back for seconds.

It was nice. Food was great. Talent was spectacular. Service was excellent. It can get cool at night. I would suggest get there early as suggested in order to get the seat you want at your table. I was solo and first at my table. All was great for me. However a party of five came a little later and wanted everyone else to rearrange seats for them.

It became very cold during the event, enough for a jacket. The music was not as perfect as we have experienced at other luaus. The food was excellent, better than we have had at other luaus. The dancers were young and not as experienced as others from other luaus. Thank you for the experience.
