What an amazing time!!! I’ve gone on turtle snorkeling tours before, but this was really was an incredible experience. What really added to the fun was the Lefeet S1 Pro water scooter that we got to use, which really livened up the adventure. Also, we had an awesome close encounter with my beloved honu/sea turtles that will definitely be difficult to top. Big props to our tour guide Joe who was both very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable about the ways of the ocean. I would strongly recommend if you are looking to check out Turtle Town while you’re in Maui, go with Zephyr👍🏻

Our first excursion on our honeymoon trip and Rob made it such a memorable experience, and the smaller group with the photos included made it so much more personal!
Robbie was an awesome guide! We were able to see turtles , tons of fish , and an octopus. He made the snorkel feel safe and fun for everyone.
This is a great option for people that get motion sickness on boats. You walk straight into the water, no boat necessary. We ended up seeing four or five turtles and an octopus, which was awesome. I would highly recommend booking with this small company! Robbie was great and made everyone feel comfortable with all the gear before we started.
It was great! The water was a little choppy but we still got to see a number of sea life, hold them and touch them. Our guide Robby was fantastic. I am 75 yrs old. He was very helpful with me letting me hang onto the wake board while he pulled me around lol.,So thoughtful.
We had an absolutely wonderful time on our snorkeling tour in Maui! Robbie was fantastic—attentive, knowledgeable, and thorough in explaining all the rules and what to expect. As a first-time snorkeler, I was a little nervous, but Robbie made me feel comfortable.
Everything was terrific from start to finish. We saw so many beautiful fish and turtles, and we even got to see an octopus! We also got tons of pictures to prove it and to remember the experience for years to come.
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would definitely recommend this snorkeling tour, especially to anyone who may be nervous about trying it for the first time. Robbie made all the difference!
Nice experience and great host. Waters can be choppy, don’t be afraid to ask for life jacket and water scooter.
Not a lot of “bright” coral or bright fish, but you will see turtles and octopuses and swim along the beautiful shoreline rocky edges. Our guide, Joe, was super friendly and made sure to find the octopuses, Sea turtles and Sea urchins.
We had a great experience with Joe! He made sure everyone was comfortable, he helped find unusual sea animals, and he took great pics of our adventure. Importantly: my husband had unsuccessfully tried snorkeling a couple times before with other tours. This time, Joe helped my husband slowly become more comfortable such that, at the end of the experience, my husband said he was a “convert!” and excited to go again.

We had Robbie as our tour guide and he was awesome! Very knowledgeable about the area, water and experience. The snorkeling experience was awesome from the view to the sea turtles and all the sea creatures and fish we saw. We recommend doing the snorkeling and if you get Robbie your experience will be amazing!

Joe our snorkel guide was amazing very helpful very knowledgeable. Water conditions made it impossible for us to enjoy ourselves.
We’re having waves go over head , we’re all running into each other and the place where the turtles hang out next to the rocks we couldn’t even get to because the waves were so strong . Joe did his best to try to make it fun, but it was miserable and murky out there.
We did get to see a turtle and hold the sea urgent. I wish they were canceled the trip, but I knew the Water was that choppy . I feel like it was a waste of money in my situation. But I’m sure on a perfectly clear day the waves not being choppy. It would’ve been cool.

We're sincerely sorry the ocean conditions weren't what you had hoped for. Ocean visibility and wave conditions in Maui can change surprisingly quickly throughout the day. Earlier tours that day experienced calm water and great visibility, but by the time of your afternoon tour, conditions had changed and became much more challenging. While they remained within our safety guidelines, we completely understand that they weren't ideal for an enjoyable snorkeling experience.
Our team continuously monitors the conditions, and if they become unsafe, we always cancel tours. Unfortunately, Mother Nature doesn't always cooperate, and sometimes conditions can shift after earlier tours have already enjoyed calm water.
We appreciate your understanding that Joe did everything he could to make the experience memorable despite the changing conditions. We're glad you were still able to see a sea turtle and hold a sea urchin, and we hope you'll consider joining us again on a calmer day so you can experience Maui snorkeling at its very best.

The water was warm, the sea creatures were out, and the tour guide was awesome. You cant beat this snorkel tour! We saw everything!! Sea turtles, an octopus, a sea urchin, and endless schools of fish! The tour guide was super knowledgeable and experienced. We felt very safe, adventurous and we had a total blast! 10/10 would recommend this tour!
Had an amazing experience with Robbie from Zephyr adventures. This was our first time snorkeling experience and initially we felt anxious when we learnt that we have to swim 0.3 miles from the shore to a turtle cave. But Robbie did a wonderful job to ensure the group is safe and we got to swim with multiple turtles. He also took some nice pics and videos of our experience which we felt was a bonus . Highly recommend Robbie and his team
Joe was an absolute rockstar! We had some people panic during the tour, including my children and he was amazing and calming and helping them move forward past our fears. Great instructor for starters and we got to see turtles and other creatures. Wonderful guide highly recommend!!!
Joe was so patient and kind with those who were a little nervous. He helped us find and see so many neat things especially the turtles! It was great to have him take the pictures/video so I could just e joy the experience. I highly recommend using the sea scooter if you need a little extra help like me when swimming in the ocean.
Joe went above and beyond to make sure we saw more than just turtles. We saw a nurse shark, octopus and manta ray, along with schools of fish and beautiful reef. Joe made sure wveryone was accounted for several times and helped anyone that fatigued along the way. Highly recommend, especially for novice snorkelers.

We were disappointed. This is not a boat tour! Plan to swim for at least 10 minutes and plan for 1 guide only. A person on our tour needed extra help because the water was too deep for their comfort. Naturally, our guide spent a lot of time with the guest, as was necessary for their safety. For a tour with several people in water that is deeper than people can safely stand in, at least one more guide should have been there. And we never received any pictures from the tour. Don't spend the money.
Better visibility early in the morning than later in the morning. We were very happy with this choice.
Good experience for a beginner. Will probably take a Dramamine next time bc of the motion sickness from the beach waves. Pretty fun experience.
Although we tried chickening out. Our tour guide encouraged us and helped us out and let us stay in the board as long as we needed. Very attentive to all of the group and encouragement throughout the whole swim. Safety and fun was top priority. Enjoyed it and even wondered away from the board with the hand held propeller. Was fun and encourage others to try.
Wonderful snorkel tour! The equipment provided was in great shape, including dry snorkels, which was a plus. Our snorkel guide, Robbie, was wonderful. He gave clear, concise instructions and got everyone geared up and into the water quickly and efficiently. While in the water, he plucked sea urchins and even an octopus from the water and showed us up close, letting us touch them while taking photos and videos of us in the water. At the end of the tour, we received all photos and videos without additional cost. Definitely recommend this tour!
