Worth Every Step: A Wonderful Portugal Experience

We had a wonderful full-day tour of Portugal, and our guide, Joao Gomes, made the experience even better. He was relaxed, friendly, and made everyone feel comfortable from the start. Pickup was easy, yellow shirt can’t miss. The tour includes quite a bit of walking, including cobblestone streets, hills, and an uphill walk (or short hike for some) to castles. A few people in our group weren't fully prepared for the walking (flip flops or sandals with heals) but Joao did an excellent job supporting them while also keeping the rest of the group on schedule. He balanced everyone's needs with patience and professionalism. We had a nice amount of free time to explore on our own, for lunch, drinks and snacks, and the schedule offered enough flexibility without feeling rushed, but enough time for lunch and drink/coffee. It really is a full-day tour, but it was worth every minute, no regrets! A few tips for future travelers: Wear comfortable walking shoes. Stretch your legs before the tour, you'll appreciate it! Bring a water bottle, although there are plenty of opportunities to buy drinks along the way. Bring some cash, as a few smaller shops during free time are cash-only, though many places accept credit cards. If you have any walking or mobility limitations, contact the tour company before booking. Portugal is beautiful, but it can be hot, hilly, and full of stairs and cobblestone streets. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I highly recommend this tour. Thank you, Joao, for making it such a memorable day! Very memorable trip this is. 3 major places with each attraction the captures your soul, your body and your spirit. In Fatima you can visit the graves of Jacinta, Francisco and Lucia at the Basilica. There is also another New Basilica where masses are offered. If you do not like extremely big crowd, don't come on the 13th of every month. Nazare offers stunning views if the ocean, the beach and the paniramic sight of huge waves. Beside the beach I experienced a taste of Portuguese fish and wine for lunch and a quick swim by the water. In Obidos I have a chance to taste chocolate ginger wine. Cobbled stone walk towards the remnants of Old castle. Very beautiful. This is a MUST SEE tour in Portugal. Very worth it and affordable. 7 of us in this tour, 2 from Croatia, 2 from US, 1 from Canada, 2 from UK. We were all satisfied awed by the entire experience. Our driver even made a side trip to Batalla, a town with a stunning Medieval Cathedral. Come and try this 3-in-1 tour.

What a great trip. We had a man telling us about the Lisbon , who was very warm & funny but knowledgeable. Then we went on the water and drove past some fantastic buildings with commentary again. Lasts about 1.5 hours in total and was a very reasonable price. Definitely recommend doing this if in Lisbon

Interesting experience. The palace is fantastic. The view of the farest west point of Eurobean land is awsome. The tour guide explains every thing in English then in french because we had half of the team from Australia and half from the french Canada. Since I speak both english and French, I heared eveything twice. Interesting!
