Lots of time to explore, particularly Belém and quite a bit of flexibility to include individual requests. Happy to let us stop and explore at any point. Our day in Sintra with Andre of Portuguese for a Day Tours was the most amazing day trip I have ever had, and it was all about the guide. Andre is knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly cares about his business. He made the whole day very easy. He knows absolutely everyone at the castles, from the groundskeepers to security, and he knows the history of every part of them. He also knows exactly where to eat. On top of that, he speaks four languages and is an accomplished musician. The castles are absolutely gorgeous. One thing to know before you go: there is a lot of walking on hills, stairs, and steep cobblestone paths. If you're looking for a Sintra tour, I highly, highly recommend booking with Andre.

Very nice tour.

The tour was a quick snapshot of some of the most important monuments and landmarks around Lisbon. Tomas was an incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. He juggled between Portuguese and English which would be very difficult. My kid loved his energy and enthusiasm. Get your cameras out for the transition into the water. Would have liked a bit more warning so we could get it in film.

Interesting experience. The palace is fantastic. The view of the farest west point of Eurobean land is awsome. The tour guide explains every thing in English then in french because we had half of the team from Australia and half from the french Canada. Since I speak both english and French, I heared eveything twice. Interesting!
