Informative and friendly! Recommend!

A very informative tour with extra information that helped pull understanding of all the sites together and to help us visualize the former uses of the sites. Friendly, helpful and mindful of pace. It was a pretty physically demanding tour so be able to walk inclines, and navigate some of the small rock remains at a walking pace. Our tour guide made sure to stop for water, restrooms, and to be sure we stood in the shade when possible. He added a lot of information about the history of the site.

Wonderful Tour

Even though it rained a little the tour was incredible!! Our tour Guide was clear with instructions and very knowledgeable. Alessandro had some good info on the city of Florence because he is a local. He was very genuine and you can tell he loves his job!! If you can’t follow directions well- don’t book this trip!!

Great Day

Be prepared for a while while walking, we want about 10,000 steps. However, it was well worth it. We went in May, and it was a little warm. Remember, women should wear dresses below the knees and sleeves covering the shoulders. Women can were pant and a sleeve T shirt. Men should wear long pants and a sleeved shirt or T shirt (with NO profanity). Our guy said that it can be very hot in July. Be warned. The system Chapel was beautiful, however, any other reason you can’t talk or take pictures.. don’t worry, you can take pictures everywhere else.

Time saver and experience multiplier.

Skip the line saves potential hours of actual active time in the museum, Chapel and Basilica. Our guide, Karl, is a learned Art Historian and experienced guide. He magnified the experience with set ups with pictures before each section. He answered all of our questions and encouraged us to ask more. Our group consisted of all English speakers, but at least half spoke other languages. Where he could he complimented his guide with comments in French and German. He seemed really invested in us getting the most of the tour. Frankly, there isn’t enough time in a day to see and appreciate all there is to see in the museum. This tour can serve as a prep to continue on your own. A travel companion had previously toured the Vatican and expressed that this guided tour was the best.

Excellent day with Elly

We had a lovely time yesterday with Elisa (Elly City Wonders) on our trip to Murano and Burano! She was super personable and fun while providing us with lots of interesting details and facts as we moved thru our day !! She also surprised us with an extra special boat ride and recommended a great spot for lunch and gelato!! We highly recommend this trip and we hope to see her again on our next visit to Venice !!

Fantastic tour

Amazing experience! Our tour guide, Juliana, was magnificent. She is an expert in Vatican museum art including details, dates and customs of the early Ancient Greeks, Roman’s and Egyptians. She gave in-depth details about the Vatican museum art knowing the intricate secrets of the tapestries, mosaic tiles and materials used to craft the artifacts. She explained the Sistine Chapel art in depth helping us understand and interpret the images in its various stages and artist’s names. She brought us back to the era when these historic sites were alive and bustling. She had a detailed, educated response for every question asked.

Outstanding tour of the Roman Colosseum

Our tour guide Valerio made this experience amazing. He gives so much history and explained everything completely. He was friendly and attentive to everyone’s questions. We never felt rushed. Very thorough and engaging guide who demonstrated a vast knowledge of the history of the site. The pacing was appropriate and the guide’s English was good. She did a great job of keeping track of us, and the terrain we covered was manageable (although challenging for older folks using a cane).

Federico is a wealth of knowledge

What an amazing way to see the Eternal City. We were so lucky to do this tour on a public holiday meaning traffic was at a minimum and crowds at attractions very low ! Federico our tour guide was amazing... his Nona taught him so much valuable informatrion about Rome and we both found it so interesting to hear about not only the attractions but also his viewpoint and opinion on so many things. We cant recommend this tour highly enough who want to cram 3 hours of highlights of Rome into one concise experience !
