These are tickets only. Tickets were emailed a couple days before the entry day/time. It is better to purchase advanced tickets as the same day ticket purchase lines were already long at 7:30AM.

Very good experience in terms of tickets and responsiveness to questions on the app. We really enjoyed being able to go at our own pace and take the time to take photos etc. would recommend travels listen to the app recording prior to the start in the visit. While very informative about all locations, it is not necessary to BE inside. Grab a shady spot. Enjoy the view of the colosseum. Listen to the recording and then enter. This will not get you into the arena or lower levels. Enjoy!

This is an overpriced ticket ( exactly 2x) which in theory could be purchased from the official site of the venue, if the latter bothered to curb the officially „impossible“ ticket reselling. The funny part is that the printed tickets one receives lists the official price and the logo of the official website. I would have expected at least coordinates of the entry points plus instructions about the grace period of the entry plus tips for less crowded entries/ times of the Forum. They get 3 stars simply because the Colloseum and the Forum are magnificent and worth visiting.

Only voucher sent by Viator vendor. Colosseum would not accept voucher. It was a huge hassle to get actual tickets Colosseum would accept. I cannot recommend this vendor. I want a refund.

Maybe visit in cooler months! Also this was a self guided tour, which I feel was more challenging and definitely in future would prefer a guided tour. It was incredibly hot that day and extremely busy and reluctantly we chose to forgo visiting the Roman Forum or Palatine Hill. I believe the ticket allows a visit to continue the experience day however we were unable to do this. Just to add I experienced other Viator visits to famous spots in Florence where I found the Viator agents on the ground were helpful in ensuring access to the busy tourist spots.

Booked an experience at 1030 When we arrived at the Colosseum, I opened up my tickets to realized they said 1015 Didn’t think to open up my tickets because I knew I had booked a 1030 experience. By the time we arrived and we were in line for at least 15 minutes and got to the front of the line they stated we were late and we were denied entry. Had “Amazing Tours given us the time that we had booked for we would have entered the Colosseum very disappointing and very bad Customer Service. They wouldn’t even give us a refund in my opinion. This company doesn’t know how to do business Plenty of other companies to book with DONT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY

Everything was excellent. Communication was great. Skip the line is the way to go. Early morning is cooler and less crowded. Full experience with Arena Floor Access was worth it. Lots of extra things to see in Roman Forum and Palatine Hill with the Full Access ticket. Audio guide app is garbage, at least on Android.

Terrible rude guide, political questions outside the scope of the trip

Terrible experience with this guide company. The guy was super unprofessional, he looked like he came from dumpster. He started asking political questions like where are you from, why are you here, are you political refugees, etc. I had to stop him 5 minutes into the excursion. Absolutely the worst experience that I have had in the last few years of travel. I would gladly ask for refund but this was non refundable. I would look to only book refundable tickets with a quality guarantee so you don’t waste any money in the future.

Truly amazing experience. It was our second visit and it still produced awe and amazement. It is shame however that it was impossible to get tickets directly from the museum. Companies like Viator buy up all of the tickets then mark them up for resale to the consumer. That said; the viator tickets were honored at the gate although we had to show passports to prove the tickets were ours. Not sure what would happen if you showed up without your passport.

General admission tickets are worth the price. Downloading tour information was difficult and we we unable to. This did not mean we didn’t enjoy and it probably was better do to crowds and noise. We did stop when English speaking guides were in our path picking up very interesting points of view.

The audio guide app was very helpful and easy to use, making the visit even more interesting. I wish my experience had happened. My tour was canceled a week before the day we were supposed to go. The real part that is unprofessional and inexcusable is the fact that my tour was canceled April 30th and I to this date, May 14th, have yet to receive my refund. At first I got the run-around, now I'm being told my case has been turned over to the Trust and Safety Team. No one can tell me why. The can not say anything but that I will be contacted by the team. This is extremely frustrating. I will never use Viator again.

With multiple negative reviews, I was skeptical about how this was going to turn out. To my surprise, the experience was great! The company reached out the day before with our tickets and information about the audio guided app as well as where to enter the colosseum. I would recommend making sure you have reliable cell service so your app works, I’m assuming that’s why people had problems with the app because my husband and I had no issues with it. We enjoyed that we were able to move at our pace opposed to a traditional guided tour.
