What are people saying about Montenegro

Best excursion of our trip!
Hands down, our best experience of the 11 day cruise. Even though it was very fast -we felt safe. Very attentive and gracious owners, and very capable Captain Luka. This tour was everything it claimed to be. Perfect timing to get back to the ship as well. You can get picked up at the cruise port, no need to walk out ten minutes to the tour operator ( like we did) if you contact them and confirm in advance. They dropped us at the cruise terminal stop on the way back.

Great full day tour!
We had such a blast on this tour! Nina is the best and taught us so much about the history and culture of Montenegro! I was also personally impressed by her driving skills on these mountain roads haha. Key highlights were the mausoleum and boat ride/swimming in the river that leads to the lake!

Love this tour company!
We had unknowingly booked this second full day tour with the same company and boy was I glad we did! They really do a great job with the itineraries and make sure everything runs smoothly/everyone gets enough time at each location. We were thrilled to have Nina as our tour guide again and made some great friends in the group by the time the day was over. Black lake was stunning (make sure to bring a swimsuit if you’d like to go in) and the Ostrog Monastery was incredible. I’m not very religious but there’s no doubt this place is sacred and you can certainly feel it! The local place we stopped at for breakfast and lunch was also delicious and authentic. Would definitely recommend booking anything with this tour company!

Blue cave and tunnels...
Blue cave and tunnels were totally worth it. We only had 20 minutes on the island. It wasn't enough time to use the bathroom (there was a line) and visit the church. The tour operator got snippy when the people we were traveling with came back 15 minutes late but overall was a good experience. Would recommend it.

Montenegro has only been an independent country since 2006, but today it’s among the world’s fastest-growing tourist destinations. One of the most popular sights is the Blue Cave, a natural sea cave where the water seems to glow; there are dozens of Montenegro tours to the cave. You might also want to explore the historic center of Kotor, ride a train to the entrance of a massive underground cave, hike around a glacial lake, or visit a 17th-century monastery built in the face of a cliff.
