This was an excellent way...

Gabrielle_W, Apr 2026
This was an excellent way to learn about many of the important artists and their work, the history, the personalities, their stories. Our guide was exceptionally knowledgeable and enthusiastic about each part of the tour. Having time to eat lunch between museums was a perfect, we could absorb what we had seen and reboot for our next museum. Highly recommend.

The ear pieces used did...

Thomas_H, Apr 2026
The ear pieces used did not deliver a clear sound with a kind of echo. Therefore much of the descriptions were hard or impossible to understand.

Response from Host, Apr 2026

Dear Thomas, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear that the audio equipment impacted your experience. Clear communication is such an important part of our tours, and it’s disappointing to know that the earpieces made it difficult to fully follow your guide’s commentary. We’ll be sharing your comments with our local team so they can review the equipment and address any technical issues. Your feedback is genuinely helpful in allowing us to improve the experience for future guests. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention, and we hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a smoother and more enjoyable experience in the future. With kind regards, Princess Walks Feedback Team

Florence walking tour

Kiran_M, Apr 2026
Wonderful tour. Greta was very informative and knowledgeable. She knew a lot about the art!! Nice pace. Only wish she walked with a flag so we didn't accidentally lose her. We didn't, but on the crowds of the piazzas and museums, a concern

Response from Host, Apr 2026

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, Kiran. We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed the tour and that Greta’s knowledge and pacing helped make your day in Florence a memorable one. It’s always wonderful to know our guides are able to bring the art and history to life in a meaningful way. We also appreciate your helpful suggestion regarding the use of a flag for visibility in crowded areas. While our guides are trained to manage groups carefully in busy sites, feedback like yours is very valuable and will be shared with our local team for consideration. Thank you again for your kind words and thoughtful input—we hope to welcome you on another experience in the future. Warm regards, Princess Walks Feedback Team

You’ll LOVE Florence

Paula_C, Apr 2026
It requires a great deal of walking so wear comfortable shoes. The tour was amazing, I am so glad we booked the small private tour! Our guide, Stephano, shared a tremendous amount of art history- we were so lucky to have him as our guide. Wonderful day and experience!

Response from Host, Apr 2026

Hi Paula! Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re so glad to hear you enjoyed your day in Florence and that the small-group format helped make it feel even more special. It’s wonderful to know Stefano’s passion for art history added so much depth to your visit—he’ll be very pleased to hear your kind words. We also appreciate you highlighting the walking involved; Florence is best explored on foot, and comfortable shoes definitely make a difference! Thank you again for your thoughtful review, and we hope to welcome you on another experience in the future. From Italy to the UK, the US and Canada, we offer a wide range of adventures for travelers worldwide. Kind regards, Princess Walks Feedback Team

Angelo A was fantastic. I couldn’t imagine touring the museums in my own. His knowledge and passion were second to none. Book this tour and ask for Angelo A!

The greatest hits with a great guide.

Anna_G, Apr 2026
Superb tour, really great guide, the “greatest hits” all included along with lots of other really entertaining and informative information. Would highly recommend.

Brenda is an amazing guide for Florence.

Faye_W, Apr 2026
Wear comfortable shoes. Let your guide know if you have any special needs (difficulty with stairs etc) as well as any special interests. Brenda was great and made sure to find things that were specific to our interests. Her love of her city and the art was palpable. She was the best.

Excellent-Excellent Tour Guide

Gregory_B, Apr 2026
The tour guide Angelo was excellent. Very knowledgeable. He knows the very fine details about paintings and sculptures. Highly recommend him if you can request him during your visit..

Very proffesional guide

Vlatko, Apr 2026
If you have the stamina, focus and attention span to listen to this awesome tour guide talking for 4 hours, you might actually learn something. The skip-the-line thing is actually not a thing. The skip-the-line line, it turns out, is a very long line, especially for the Academia entry.

A great introduction to Florence and renaissance art

Jay_E, Apr 2026
A great opportunity to learn about Florence, the renaissance, Michelangelo, Da Vince, and the other great artists. It provided an opportunity to visit the Uffizi museum and to view The David without waiting in line. Our guide, Valentina, was very informative about all aspects of Italian art and very easy to understand. We learned a lot.

It could be better

Alejandra_L, Apr 2026
We didn’t enter the Duomo. The museum was amazing but the guide took us only to few paintings and sculptures. Stood in the same place talking 15 minutes without walking and seeing other works of art

Response from Host, Apr 2026

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, Alejandra. I’m glad to hear you enjoyed the museum and found parts of the collection impressive, though I’m sorry that other aspects of the tour did not meet your expectations. Regarding the Duomo, access can sometimes be subject to availability and operational restrictions on the day, which may affect the itinerary. That said, I understand how disappointing it is when an expected stop is missed. I’m also sorry to hear that the pacing inside the museum felt too static and limited in scope. Our guides aim to balance storytelling with movement through the collections, and your comments are helpful in highlighting where the experience may have felt too concentrated in one area. We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts, as it helps us continue to refine both the flow and content of our tours for future guests. With kind regards, Princess Walks Feedback Team

Our missed tour

george_f, Apr 2026
Unfortunately I missed the tour. The Viking bus was supposed to get me to Florence before 9AM which would have been ample time to get to your meeting place. They actually got us to the bus drop off point above the city at 9:35 and we were unable to get a taxi to take us to the meeting point at your requested 9:45. The next time I reserve a tour with you I will not rely on Viking as part of the transportation. George Ford

Response from Host, Apr 2026

Dear George, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, and I’m sorry to hear that you were unable to join the tour. I understand how frustrating it must have been for your arrival time in Florence to be delayed, especially when you had planned your schedule to make the 9:45 AM meeting time. Unfortunately, as our tours operate on a fixed schedule with timed entry reservations, we’re unable to hold or delay departure for late arrivals. It’s also helpful to hear your comments regarding the Viking transfer experience. While transportation is managed separately from our tours, we appreciate you highlighting how it impacted your ability to reach the meeting point, and we will keep this in mind when reviewing pre-tour information shared with guests. We’re sorry we missed you on this occasion, and we appreciate you taking the time to let us know what happened. If your travels bring you back to Florence, we would be delighted to welcome you again and provide the experience you had hoped for. Best regards, Princess Walks Feedback Team

Amazing Art History Lesson

Small group is the way to go. Our guide was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I felt like I had an art experience of a lifetime. Some of the pieces will bring tears to your eyes.

Florence With The Masters

Roni_J, Apr 2026
The Skip the Line David/Uffizi and Florence walking tour was excellent and our guide, “Stephanie A”was incredibly knowledgeable and very approachable. By mid-afternoon at the Uffizi we were a little tired, but learned so much.

David was great! Wish we would have skipped uffizzi and just had a free afternoon.

Rebecca_G, Mar 2026
We never truly visited ponte vecchio. We looked at it from the window of the uffizzi. We also did not go inside duomo or the baptistery. It was just walking by. Finally the wait for the uffizzi was ridiculous. Our guide could not be blamed for this as the volume of people was crazy, BUT we waited over an hour for “skip the line” tickets.

Long day of art in history of Florence

lena_A, Mar 2026
Plan to walk and quickly visit sites throughout Florence You will actually stand in line and wait to be in museums, even though they are time entries For a group of 4 it was over $600 If I booked both of these museums independently and went into individual lines, it would’ve been $400 and it looks like the individual lines moved way faster than the group ticketed lines. All lines are timed entry. Our time entry was one and we did not get in till 2 o’clock. Our tour guide said this is a normal situation. We were on the tour until about 3:30 pm If you’re looking to spend time in a museum with a lot of information given to you regarding historical and art, this is the tour for you.. The only bathroom brakes you get is when you’re done the museums and at lunch. Our tour guide was very informative, and a lot of education was given regarding the history /art of Florence we did do a full day tour 945 till 330 with a one hour break I think some of the situation is the tourism of the area is very high And the museums are making the most bang for their buck by allowing more patrons in and it’s overcrowded.

Florence in a Day

Thomass_M, Mar 2026
Excellent tour, a must do when you’re in Florence. The walk was easy and you are given time for breaks. Our guide Federica was exceptional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Five stars!!

Response from Host, Mar 2026

Thank you so much for the 5-star review, Thomas! We are thrilled to hear that our Florence in a Day tour was a highlight of your trip. Federica is an exceptional guide, and it is wonderful to know that her knowledge and friendly approach made the experience so enjoyable for you. We also take great care in pacing our tours to ensure they are accessible and allow for those necessary breaks, so we’re glad you found the walk easy and well-timed. I will be sure to share your kind words with Federica and the rest of the Florence team. Kind Regards, Gerard

Amazing tour and tour guide. Clearly the tour guide was passionate about florence and want to share with travelers.

Wonderful half a day tour at the Galleries!

Juliana_H, Mar 2026
I wanted to share some feedback about our recent Florence in a Day tour with our wonderful guide, Chiara Manganelli. The experience was fantastic, especially with the timed entry and skip-the-line tickets for both the Accademia Gallery and the Uffizi Gallery. This was incredibly convenient, given that it was the start of the peak season. There were lots of school groups and visitors making the most of the cooler weather, so skipping the lines made a big difference. Chiara was a wealth of information, and I really appreciated how clear and concise her explanations were throughout the tour. She gave us great recommendations for lunch, which made the day even more enjoyable. Our group of about sixteen people was provided with headsets, ensuring everyone could hear the commentary. The tour started right on time and finished at the Uffizi Gallery, where we were encouraged to explore further at our own pace. I definitely recommend this tour to others. My only suggestion would be to mention in the booking details to look out for the green bag with “walk” on it. Since I booked through Viator, I wasn’t immediately sure which tour was ours until I asked someone nearby. Thank you again for a wonderful day in Florence!

Florence walking tour

Anindya_S, Mar 2026
Amazing Florence walking tour, covering the most important historical centre edifices. Our tour guide was extremely sweet and made sure to enlighten us about other important buildings such as the Medici household, Medusa, Michelangelo's first musings on a stone, and many more. Highly recommended for first timers and families.

Exceptional

Jacoline_W, Mar 2026
Today was the absolute quintessence of the Florentine tourist experience. Having booked the tour through Viator, I woke up feeling the heavy toll of the previous day’s 14,000 steps; my body was stiff, and my enthusiasm for another day on foot was, admittedly, waning. However, the day unfolded into a magnificent surprise. While the walking was indeed extensive, our guide, Matt, was nothing short of exceptional. By the end of the journey, I found myself calling him "Maestro," a fitting title for someone who captivated us with such profound historical knowledge and brilliant storytelling. The hours seemed to vanish as we traversed the city. The "Florence in a Day" tour is a spectacular curation of Michelangelo’s genius and the timeless masterpieces housed within the Uffizi Gallery. It was a truly sublime experience that I would recommend to anyone. What a magnificent day it turned out to be.

Detailed art history

This is a very detailed visit where you gain a in depth understanding of the art you are viewing. Be prepared to wait as other guests seem to wander off.
