- Please be aware that access to the Sistine Chapel is subject to Vatican regulations and ceremonies. The Vatican Museums may decide to close the Sistine Chapel on short notice for official events or religious proceedings. In the event of any unexpected developments, we are unable to foresee or control these closures in advance. However, your ticket will still grant you full access to the Vatican Museums.
- Knees and shoulders must be covered to enter during your visit.
- During high season, a mandatory security check to access the museums may require a wait of up to 30 minutes.
- Visitors holding a disability card with more than 75% are entitled to free entrance and do not need to purchase a ticket.
- Please check in at the meeting point to collect your official entry tickets
- The tour involves climbing stairs. There is no elevator access in most areas of the Vatican Museums. Comfortable shoes are recommended.
- Strollers are allowed inside the Vatican Museums, however please be aware that most areas have stairs and limited elevator access. If the Basilica option is selected, strollers must be folded and carried through the entrance. It is not possible to join the tour with a stroller unless it is foldable.
- Wheelchairs and mobility aids cannot be used to access St. Peter's Basilica via the Sistine Chapel exit, due to security regulations. For this reason, travelers using wheelchairs are unable to join the group tour, as they are required to follow a separate accessible route that avoids stairs. We recommend contacting us before booking for further assistance.
- Please bring a valid passport or photo ID, as it may be required for entry and security checks at the Vatican Museums.
- The ticket price includes the official Vatican Museums entrance fee (€20+€5 per adult, €8+€5 per child aged 6-18), plus applicable taxes, booking fees, hosted entry, and meeting point assistance.

Our guide Julia was fantastic!!! She was funny, friendly, so nice and patient with our group of 6 very hot NY’ers lol. We wound up cutting our tour short because of the heat, but absolutely no fault of Julia. Would recommend this tour a million times but if it’s hot, bring fans and water!

Such a great experience in Rome. We were a family with teen son, plenty to do and see. We weren’t told but women you need to cover shoulders in the chapel otherwise you will need to purchase a pashmina for €5 …. From a seller.

Our tour guide Aphrodite was so kind and very informative! She did a wonderful job with information, answering questions and making sure we had plenty of time for photos. We did the second part of the tour was a little faster paced walking wise with Andre (I think his name was) but he was also very kind, funny and informative. While touring in the collosium an older lady slipped on the stones, which are very smooth, and fell facedown but luckily did not hit her face. Three people from my group helped her husband stand her up but I say this to warn about the stones on the ground. BE CAREFUL! I definitely slipped but caught myself before falling down. Overall highly recommend tour and very much worth the money!

Jana was great!the skip the line itself was worth the price.
For general work of the experience, I would suggest while folks are there 15min early you allow them to download the audio guide and offer instructions in multiple languages instead of doing that outside.

There is very little air conditioning in the summer. If you book the last tour of the day, make sure you get into Sistine Chapel as soon as possible, so you have time to enjoy.

Arrive 15 minutes before hand to check in. He walks you through all the gates in skip line. Then off on your own or listen independently to a guide(virtual). I think I would rather see St Peter’s over sostenes chapel. Long walk to get there. Next time definitely choosing St. Peter’s.

We paid a lot of extra money to have a young boy who hardly spoke to our group to just walk us across the road to wait in line to get through security and nothing else. I know this tour states self guided but we paid welll over twice the price for the entry tickets to be guided to entrance which we could have done ourselves. Was absolutely shocked at what we paid to what we got and how much it actually cost for entry tickets.

This experience is designed as a hosted priority entrance with self-guided visit. Our team assists guests with check-in, ticket management, entrance coordination, and access through the reserved entrance. Once inside, guests are then free to explore independently at their own pace, which is why guided explanations are not included with this specific option.
Regarding the price, we understand that comparing it only to the official entrance ticket may make the difference seem significant. However, the cost reflects not only the admission ticket, but also the advance reservation service, priority entrance arrangement, on-site assistance, operational coordination, customer support, and the organization required to secure access, especially during periods of high demand.
That said, we are genuinely sorry that the experience did not meet your expectations.

It does not allow exit from right door straight to St. Peter’s Cathedral. Forced to exit by left door which exits to main entrance so many blocks walk to cathedral

The direct passage from the Sistine Chapel to St. Peter's Basilica is subject to strict Vatican regulations and is reserved exclusively for visitors accompanied by a licensed guide with a valid group reservation. Unfortunately, independent visitors are required to exit the Vatican Museums and access St. Peter's Basilica through its main entrance.
The walking distance between the Vatican Museums and St. Peter's Basilica is determined by the layout and regulations of the Vatican and is therefore beyond our control as a tour operator.

The focus of this tour is Michelangelo and the Sistine Chapel. That is great, but there is a LOT more to see in the museums that gets glossed over. It’s impossible to cover everything in a couple hours - I get it. The real issue is that the museum pushes so many people thru at the same time it’s impossible to really study and appreciate any of the art in depth (in June- maybe the winter months are better).

The English tour was very difficult to understand due to an extremely strong accent of our tour guide. We could not understand 50% of what she was saying. Our tour was scheduled with In Out Italy. We would not recommend.

So glad I booked this! Be sure to arrive at the office to pick these passes up very well in advance of your entry time at The Vatican Museum! These tickets do NOT get you skip the line entry to St. Peter's Basilica.

The experience of seeing these historic sites was absolutely amazing. So much to see that we could have spent the entire day there. The audio tour from the company was lacking, but there was a more thorough option at the sites that cost extra. Booking and the meeting procedures was easy. Once our group left, the guide took off like she was running a race. There were older couples in our party that couldn’t keep up. She did not wait for the whole group to get through security or to go up the escalator. We were in the middle of our line (not at the end) and she lost us. Ultimately, we figured it out on our own and the actual places we visited were absolutely gorgeous!

Easy process. Very helpful employees...especially Jana and Andre. We had an issue as we didn't know about clothing requirements for Sistine Chapel, so my husband and I were separated and they helped us outside of the group. Grazi!!!!

This is purely an entry ticket, you meet up with the group and they take you inside, you tour yourself with no guide. Also, initially it appears you meet by the museum entrance, then you learn that you meet at their office nearby instead.

The company this went through was awful. The tour guide was late to work, so the experience started late. Because she was late, things were skipped. She wasted time on things that were unnecessary. Not to mention needing time to rest. If I could give this negative stars, I would. Skip this tour and do it yourself.

We arrived 20 minutes before scheduled excursion, could not find the office to obtain the tickets. I messaged the office no response, I called the office no response. I finally found the office after much searching. I got my tickets but no guided tour. We felt lost and no information as we went about. Also when we got our tickets we noticed the tickets were 27€ each I had 3 people in my party for a total of 81€. I had paid $233 which mean the remains was for the guided tour that never happened.

It says "skip the lines" but just know you'll be in a line just a much (and I mean MUCH) faster one. Once inside you can take your time off you book the non guided route. We spent almost 5 hours there. Reading the sign boards as we went.

The guided took us across the street and that was it. It was my understanding they were giving us a guided tour but we were on our own for 160 bucks. The wording was confusing. It was only when I went bavk and read it after did I understand. When it says your guide speaks English you think he is going to be your actual guide
