Scam tour, do not book!

This company is a scam. There is no such company that exists - Dreams Tourism. We arrived for our tour with plenty of time to spare, there was no guide at the meeting point, we walked to address given with the booking information and found an empty building, we called the number given with the booking information and it has been disconnected. Do not book this tour!! We ended up having to pay another tour company for a tour, lucky they were able to fit us in, but realised we were desperate so charged a premium price.

Was kept informed by agent about the tickets and times could go to the areas. As booked the Full arena tour with Palentine hill and Roman forum. Was a great experience enjoyed seeing Collseum outside and inside. Including walking in to the arena seeing the different areas experiencing the history of the building.

Not a good audio guided tour! The app was not functioning well. Could not seem to locate where we were. Thought my husband and I were in different areas. At times the tracker thought we were out on the street. It kept repeating a previous audio segment we had already heard and had moved on. Do not recommend this tour.

The Colosseum was great to see but the Arena floor was not worth it. Underground or Attic are the only two experiences that give you a tangibly different experience from the standard ticket. The Roman Forum was the absolute highlight of the package. Walking through ancient Rome was amazing.

Good experience, easy process and great communication from the tour company. We opted for the self-guided with audio guide and it was great. I would have preferred the app to have speed controls since we found the narration a bit too slow but overall, good experience!

The experience was good. We were able to tour the colosseum after not being able to get tickets anywhere else. We would have preferred an in person guide but we were just happy to be there and glad to get to see the arena floor as well.

This is a scam. Doesn’t deliver what was promised.

It’s a scam! You’re promised a full tour and you get less than anyone else. Self guided means “no access”. We were only able to get to two viewing sites. Our contact was no help. His Indian accent so strong, he was difficult to understand. We saw nothing under ground. The app wouldn’t download when we were at the forum. We saw very little of what we were promised and learned little of what little we saw. Don’t waste your money. Get a guided tour so you can see it all and know what you’re seeing.

Disorganized - they sent us someone else's tickets which caused a lot of confusion about timing and lining up for Roman Forum vs. Colosseum - we had to line up multiple times because of the ticket confusion. We messaged the contact from Viator who was unhelpful. When we finally got into the Colosseum the audio guides aren't great and are pretty confusing to way-find - would highly suggest a guided tour as opposed to the Audio guide. For the Roman Forum - as they had sent us the wrong tickets, they must have sent our tickets to someone else who already accessed the Roman Forum before us - it's a single entry ticket so they told us we couldn't come in - we were pretty upset so the staff there were attentive and when they realized it wasn't our fault were kind enough to let us attend. The Colosseum and Roman Forum are a must see - I just wouldn't book this Audio Guide experience again or recommend it to anyone.

Voucher, app and email confusions

The Dream Tour contact was helpful, but the directions provided by Viator were both confusing and conflicted. We first went to the link location in the app, then found a single line in the six page voucher that directed us to the general area where we had to search for our tour guide. When we finally found him, he was very helpful, explained the entry process to us well, directed us to the audio app, and showed us how to use it.

We purchased tickets via Viator a week before coming to Rome as tickets on the Colosseum direct website were sold out and this was the only way we could secure tickets. The operator sent over electronic tickets as promised and we had no issues getting in. We did take passports as I’d googled they were needed and our party of 6 was asked at the Colosseum to provide any 2 passports on entry. I’d made a slight error in my husbands name but this caused no issues. There was no real need to meet the tour operator who sold us tickets but they did support with advising where to go to enter the colosseum and where to go to enter the Palantine Hill. We didn’t go as had kids and grandparents with us and it was very hot! We found it tricky to locate our host and it would’ve helped massively if he shared the ‘live location’ via WhatsApp as he was showing me photos of where he was but this wasn’t immediately clear.

Was difficult to get the tickets. Could have easily been sent the day before electronically but have to find the guy and then he sends the electronic tickets to you. Was inconvenient to track him down as he did not answer phone when we arrived. They complicate a non complicated issue. Poor communication and support.

We were not able to access the tickets. We had a pdf with the purchase info. We received a text with bar codes but not the actual tickets. We tried the WhatsApp at no avail and spent over an hour but still could not enter the Colosseum.

The only real benefit to this experience is that I was able to buy a ticket to get into the Colosseum when it was sold out via regular channels. The "audio guide" was just using the MyColosseum app that anyone can download and use. The contact was friendly and was more than willing to answer any questions.

DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR, this tour was a complete nightmare, well it wasn’t even a tour I might as well have bought the ticket by myself, there is no one to meet you to tell you how the app works, there is no skipped the line as promised, the app does not work, I might as well have bought the ticket myself. I waited in this huge line, and that was the reason that I purchased this tour was to skip the line.DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR YOU WILL REGRET IT.
