Our tickets were rejected by Colosseum security who said that these tickets were purchased incorrectly and we could not enter. When we contacted the tour operator he was unhelpful and Viator refused to provide a refund. We had to purchase separate tickets from the Colosseum.
Just know you can get the same QR code inside before you go in for free. You’ll need your own earphones and be able to sign in with google account. My internet was having problems, we didn’t get any of the audio tour. It was a waste
Horrible. I purchased tickets months in advance, and as we walked in line, my tickets were not valid. We were told the tickets were "blacklisted". We had to purchase new tickets to enter. And of course, I requested a refund through the App via email, explaining the situation. To my surprise, I got an apology and sorry for not being able to get my refund. WTF.
Tickets were not valid. Couldn't get to the attraction. Horrible support. I am requesting my full refund right now.
Really good experiance. Done 1.5 hours there and then had Roman Ruins and Palatine hills so spent the whole day there. Great experience.

It'll take you a good 5 to 6 hours to complete the whole place but its worth jt
I think the meeting place should be easier to find, the address is so complicated around the colleseum park to locate.
I gave 4 star because the travel agent called Sak was so helpful to make sure I locate the place, showing the 2 photos of the location to find it and where it was. He's already professional and friendly and responded quickly when I sent my message.
Please signage is important and photo of location. Do what the tour Get Your Guide, how they put signage for their meet up point. I booked my Vatican ticket with them and locating the location was much easier
The setup for this tour is great! We met our host outside the Colosseum and he was very helpful in letting us know where to go, how long the tour would take, and what to expect. The Colosseum itself was very impressive and the app provided with the tour made learning about the experience very easy. The Roman Forum was extremely impressive, although I recommended having a guide for this portion, if possible (also eating something between the Colosseum and the forum). The area is huge and there is so much to see!
Do not buy from a re-sale site! Only purchase from official ticket site. We purchased the coliseum, forum, palatine hill which included an audio guide and “arena access”. Once we received the tickets before entry it only had 1st and 2nd level colosseum access and no guide. We explained this and they said “yes your are correct” and gave us a refund of 20 euros. ( tickets were 125 euros). Definitely a bit of a scam they are running so stay away.
Colosseum is fantastic. Great history. Locating the audio locations throughout the self guided tour was difficult at times. We missed a few of them. Once you receive your tickets, there is no need to go to the meeting location to “receive you tickets”. It was a waste of time because you already have them?
It was a great ticket to buy. We saw everything except the sub level of the arena. The audio didn't work for any of us. It worked on #1, then we weren't able to get it to work until #6.
I recommend having a guide tour instead of self audio guided tour. It was difficult trying to figure out where to go once inside the Colosseum. There’s so many people going in every which direction so many areas blocked off, it was like a maze trying to get around.
Booked weeks in advance for 9am to avoid the heat, specifically including Arena floor access. Three days before the tour, Dream Tourism told us that neither the 9am time nor Arena floor access was available. We were offered an afternoon tour without Arena floor access or a refund. As all other Colosseum tours were fully booked, we had no choice but to accept a regular tour in the midday heat.
I now see from other reviews that this has happened to other customers. If a specific tour or time is important to you, be very cautious about booking with Dream Tourism SRLS.

We would like to clarify that, approximately three days before your tour, we informed you about the situation with the Colosseum ticketing system. There was a technical issue with the official ticketing system for around two days, which prevented us from issuing the ticket for your originally selected time and Arena access.
We first explained the situation to you and provided you with the available alternatives. Only after informing you of the circumstances and receiving your confirmation did we proceed with issuing your ticket.
We understand that the change was inconvenient, but the issue was caused by the temporary problem with the Colosseum ticketing system and was beyond our control. Therefore, we kindly ask that you consider the circumstances before holding Dream Tourism responsible for the change.
Host is rude and did not send the QR code in advance as the email described. We got 3 emails with PDFs saying g they would have the tickets but had to find the ruse host first. Directions to the arch were complicated. The tour operator called and hung up on me 3 times.

This was the perfect excursion for me. I was travel fatigued and did not want to talk with others. I received my ticket via Whatsapp and was outside the Colosseum at the respective time for my ticket. It was busy but steady which I was thankful for as it was extremely hot out. But the moment I stepped inside I was in awe. My eyes were watery and there are truly no words to express the experience. It was like a time traveling leap. Thankful to do this and would do it again honestly.
Found it hard to find the meeting point and someone to help us with navigation. Eventually we did. The audio guide was set up on one phone only and was very hard to hear so we just switched it off and did our own thing. The Roman Forum and Palatine you do at your own leisure and there is no guide. I think we would have been better off just buying a normal ticket to get in.
We booked a Colosseum tour with arena access and were told 1 day before that the tickets were not available and that we would only be able to do the regular access tickets. As compensation, we were only offered a 15 euro refund for tickets that are already overpriced as they are a reseller

We explained the situation and the available alternatives to you, and you confirmed that you wished to proceed with the regular entry option. Based on your confirmation, we then proceeded to issue your booking and provided the tickets accordingly.
We understand that losing Arena access was disappointing, and we offered a €15 partial refund as compensation for the change. The situation was caused by the temporary issue with the official ticketing system and was beyond our control.

Rome was extremely hot the day we visited however still able to enjoy the experience and will definitely recommend it. Lots of walking

The using of a QR code and your phone was great-remember to bring headphones. Whether it was the end of the summer or because it was very hot, the tour guides were a little snappy. You should have flags that are clear and bright for your company. We went to 3 different flags and were told to go 2 different directions before finding our "flag."
I downloaded the audio guide, but it still stopped working every minute or so, do i just gave up. The entry tickets were fine for both sites.
Good tour of the ancient Roma sites. Audio guide had much good information. One thing to note: this audio guide is a phone app that you have to download. It would have been nice to know that ahead of time to allow download on the hotel wifi AND to have earbuds for the phone.
The experience was barebones and no frills. We gained a ticket in advance that allowed us to enter the arena floor as well as the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. There was minimal instructions, but overall got the job done for what we were looking for!
