Very informational and historical in nature. Not physically strenuous. Our guide was eager to answer questions and kept the pace of a very large group (40) moving quite smoothly. My only complaint would be with that large of a group, being able to hear clearly was sometimes an issue - given the distance from the guide. Overall, great tour and highly recommended!

3:30 tour guide no showed. We waited till three forty five and then decided to check in with the. Visitor center. The tour supported by the visitor center was not available till the next day and only $17.

There was a rain shower about 45 minutes before we were to go. It stopped however a good 15 minutes before. We arrived early. We saw another tour leaving because no there was no one there. We waited and waited and finally called only to find out it had been cancelled for rain. We will get a refund. They told us there was another one leaving v at 4 with a different company. We went in and ask and that wasn’t the case. Paid $40 for parking all for nothing.

My flight arrived into BOS at 2:30 pm
My tour was to start at 4:30 pm
It was cancelled and the last tour was at 2:30.
I didn’t receive notification of the change. Paid an Uber $30 to get us to the tour start location which was not easily explained, called Viator only to be told that an email would be sent to tell me about the exact location. I asked the person at Viator to please give me the directions as the email was not coming in. She put me on hold
To tell me that the tour had been cancelled. She was not pleasant and when I asked if could speak with someone else, the call was disconnected. Obviously if I would have known that the tour time of 4:30 was cancelled and it was replaced by a 2:30 tour I would have cancelled the entire thing since my flight was arriving at 2:30 and we would have never made.

This was a disaster, unable to take the tour. It never mentioned a tour time In the confirmation When we arrive at the location, we were told it was maybe 12:30pm. I called customer service they could not confirm. Someone was supposed to call me back, but never did!

Great story teller. Especially enjoyed learning the significance of coins on military graves. It was a hot day and our guide did an excellent job of trying to keep us in the shade as much as possible, which then allowed us to listen and really enjoy his talks of various historical figures from the start of the American Revolution.

Tour was fun the tour guide was useful to learn about American history. It was packed well and walking was doable. It was something we would recommend. Also, we had to modify our reservation due to travel issues and the customer arrive person was very nice and accommodating.

We booked on Viator to see the history of Boston. The booking did not state a time for the tour, but only said that it was open from 9:30 to 4:00. We assumed that the tours form and leave when there are enough people, as some do. We got to the start of the tour at 2:50. No one was there. We called the number on the booking and were told that the tour left at 2:30 but that we could probably catch up with it. We did, but missed the first 1/2 of the tour. The tour guide said he would give us a tour at the end with the things that we missed. He was nice, and knowledgeable. The tour pointed out historical places, but it would have been nice to go inside some places for a brief look to put the dialogue into perspective. When we got to the end of the tour, we asked the tour guide if we would be continuing with some of the things we missed (as he had stated in the beginning). He said, no, he had to go home. It was disappointing. The tour company said that it was not aware that Viator did not put the time of the tour on the booking. This needs to be done.

Customer was offered a refund and or a credit. She emailed me after the tour and said although she missed the beginning it was a wonderful tour with so much History. We do not go into the sights because it’s a separate cost and would take several hours. We keep our tour price at a very reasonable price.

My daughter & I absolutely LOVED this tour! Everything about it was so wonderful. Our guide covered so many aspects about Boston's history, the statues, the land, architecture & graveyards. Explanations of Boston Massacre and Robert Gould Shaw memorial-- dramatically told, clear, detailed accounts. Ernie (the guide) took good care of the 40 people on our tour. What detracted slightly, however, was the jumping-around of event chronology-- hard to keep people & events linked.
