The guide was polite and friendly, so my rating is mainly about the itinerary and overall value rather than the guide’s service.
The stops at the major tech companies are quite limited—mostly visitor centers, stores, or designated photo areas. I understand these restrictions are beyond the tour company’s control, but they make parts of the tour feel more like photo stops than an in-depth Silicon Valley experience.
What I questioned most was the time allocation. We spent about two hours at the Computer History Museum. For a general sightseeing tour, that felt excessive to me. Much of the visit involves reading information panels and viewing exhibits in display cases. Today, computer history can be explored effectively through documentaries, online resources, and even AI. I would rather spend limited travel time on experiences that cannot be replicated on a screen.
By contrast, we had only about one hour at Stanford. I had researched the campus beforehand and was happy to explore independently, but one hour was simply too short.
I would have preferred less museum time and more time at Stanford. Considering the relatively high price and limited access at the tech-company stops, I did not feel the tour offered particularly good value.

Negative:
- Apple stop is just in an Apple store (visitor center, they call it), really bad
- Google stop is in a little better visitor center, still not good. You may take a couple of nice pictures.
- The bus doesn't have a charger, or water or snacks
Positive:
- Stanford is beautiful, and you will be able to see a good part of it, I i wish could spend more time there, though
- The Computer History Museum is cool
You should definitely improve the "big tech" part of the trip.

Very disappointing, we saw nothing. 15 min in the google shop, more than 2 hours in the automation museum with 30 minutes would have been enough, then 1 h more in stanford and to finish 1 h more in the apple shop. We didn’t even see Steve Jobs’ garage, the driver looked very unwilling to work, we asked for 5 more minutes at one of the sites and he told us not to...
