- How To Access: After booking, you’ll get an email and text with setup instructions and password (search “audio tour” in emails and texts). • Download the separate tour app by Action • Enter the password sent by email and text. • MUST download the tour while in strong wifi/cellular. • Works offline after download.
- How to start touring: Open Action’s separate audio tour guide app once onsite. • If there is just one tour, launch it. • If multiple tour versions exist, launch the one with your planned starting point and direction.
- Go to the starting point No one will meet you at the start. This tour is self-guided Enter the first story’s point and the audio will begin automatically Follow the audio cues to the next story, which will also play automatically. Enjoy hands-free exploring. If you face audio issues, contact support. Stick to the tour route & speed limit for the best experience.
- Travel worry-free: Use the tour app anytime, on any day, and over multiple days. Start and pause the tour whenever you like, taking breaks and exploring side excursions at your own pace. Skip anything you don’t care about or explore bonus content for everything that interests you
- Important Note: Road closure updates and entrance fees are available on the NPS website. Reservations are required for all vehicles and shuttle riders visiting Muir Woods, and since there is no cell reception or public WiFi at the park, all reservations must be made before arrival.

Thus us just an audio tour it doesn't get you in or do anything for you. Parking at Muir woods is $10. Just go directly to them and book you parking reservation.

John, my product is a self-guided audio tour for driving and walking. At the same time, Muir Woods parking fees, entrance fees, and required vehicle reservations are separate and clearly excluded from the listing. The audio tour provides GPS-guided directions, stories, and commentary so you can explore independently at your own pace. The tour is valid for a year so that you can try the audio guide. If you’ve left the location, I can provide a replacement tour or process a refund. I’m available daily from 9 to 6 EST to help.

I’m not sure which forms or questions you were seeing, as my Muir Woods GPS Driving and Walking Audio Tour only requires you to follow the instructions sent after booking, download the app, and set up the tour before your visit. There should be no forms to fill out or extra questions to answer to use the audio tour. We downloaded the app and we were able to connect to the tour while driving to Muir Woods. Once inside the park, we were not able to reconnect.

Lois, thank you for sharing your experience, and I’m sorry the connection inside the park caused trouble. Muir Woods can have very limited cell service once you’re inside the forest, which is why the tour is designed to be fully downloaded beforehand so it can run offline without needing a signal. It sounds like you were able to connect while driving there, which is great, but I’d love to understand what happened once you entered the park? I would like to know more, my team is available daily from 9 AM to 6 PM EST.

I purchased 2 tours because it said in the description that it was only for 4 people and I had 5, there was no need to do that because you are only purchasing the audio tour, I even asked if it was needed and was told to purchase 2 tours. It isn’t clearly advertised what you are getting and tickets to enter the park along with parking are not included, only the audio tour which CANNOT be used inside the park because it is illegal account to the park employees

Make sure u make reservations for parking they should make it mandatory when u purchase tickets. 1st there is no reception when u get up there, 2nd its not an easy road to drive. We never visit the park cause we couldn't get reception to purchase parking ticket waste of our day.
