- The costumers need to show up 20 mins before at the meeting point in order to guarantee a smooth departure of the activity.

- Please note that entry to the Colosseum requires passing through a metal detector security check. On busy days, a queue may form for this procedure.

Very well organised and run. Highlight of our trip - especially made so by our guide Numi, who was so knowledgeable and entertaining, but also had to deal with some difficult tour members.
Enjoyed the experience and the guide was like an encyclopaedia of knowledge, it blew my mind how much he knew and could answer any question! We visited in august which was extremely hot so make sure you have a hand held fan in the heat. Amazing to experience this piece of history

Georgia was so knowledgeable! You could tell she loves what she does. This is amazing express tour but I feel like she gave a thorough explanation of everything we saw.
Easy to find meeting place, organized. Great guide with lots of good stories and always inviting questions. Really enjoyed it! The start and especially finish points for this tour are near Capitoline Hill so recommend combining with the nearby Capitoline Museums either before or after. Need 3-4 hours there which makes it a great full day! Use the excellent audio guide app for the museums and you’ll feel like you have a good guide there too.

We had a wonderful experience during this tour. Ximena was an excellent tour guide. She was very informative, passionate and pleasant.
Our guide Alessandra was AMAZING! She had lived in Rome all of her life and loved the city. She was very enthusiastic and loved sharing her knowledge. Her stories were supplemented with a notebook of pictures which made the history of the colosseum come alive! We learned a lot from this tour in addition to experiencing the awe of ancient history.

Our guide made this tour a real highlight of our time in Rome. He was funny and engaging from start to finish, and kept everyone interested with plenty of fascinating historical tidbits that brought the ruins to life. You walk away feeling like you actually understand what you're looking at, not just admiring old stones.
The pacing was spot on. The tour was well spaced out, with enough time at each stop to take it all in without ever feeling rushed or dragged out. He was also courteous and patient, and made sure every question was answered before moving on.

Without a guide, you would not understand what once was the foundation and greatness of Ancient Rome. Our Guide, Jimena, was a wonderful source of vast knowledge of the history of Rome. She even brought a book so that we could envision how it used to look, and that was an amazing aid to teaching us about ancient Rome. I would absolutely recommend this tour to any tourist in Rome. Even if you don’t have it interest in history, you definitely will after this tour as it peaks your interest to the point where you just want to keep learning on your own and most of that is because of wonderful Jimena, our guide! She deserves all the credit for this wonderful tour!!!

We found the meeting instructions easy to follow. Our tour guide was excellent. She was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The ear peices to listen to the guide worked well.
The only thing I would improve is I would have liked more time to explore the exhibition in the colleseum. When the tour finished we were not allowed to go back to look at the exhibition. If they was explained we could have left the group at that stage as it was nearing the end of the tour.
Overall we had a very enjoyable time and recommend the trip.
Our guide “Fe” Felicity was a wealth of knowledge! She explained everything in detail giving historical context and insight. We really hit the jackpot with her and five stars just aren’t enough!! I’d give Fe a 10 out of 10+. The best tour of our life!! Feeling blessed!!
Maybe more than I might have expected and I guess I should have done more research. Very interesting but also very strenuous. Lots of uneven ground and many people and many of them rude

This is a very nice and informative tour and I personally loved it, mainly because I find history intriguing. As for kids under 12, I would probably avoid the whole thing, just go to colosseum.
Having a guide is a must with these sites. You are probably only going once in your life and if you don’t pay for a guided tour you will miss a lot. Still can be some confusion with a guide but absolutely necessary. Our guide was a wealth of knowledge and had very interesting tid bits. These sites are must sees! Only downfall is there is a ton of walking, specially on uneven ground.
So much to see, our guide Felicity (Fi) was fabulous, her knowledge, humour and enthusiasm really made the experience. We learnt so much, and she brought sweeties!
The tour was very informative, provided great history, and the guide was engaging. The one observation I have is that in the description of the tour, there should be greater emphasis on the challenging terrain and stairs people will encounter. While my husband and I had no problem, there were others in the group that really struggled because of their mobility challenges. I would go as far as to say they shouldn't have been on this tour and risked injury.

Extremely informative information from our tour guide. We expected to start in the colosseum and spend more time there, rather we did Roman forum and Paletine hill first and spent 2 hours there. 2-3 hrs was definitely 3+ hours and I didn’t anticipate that when planning our day. Overall the tour guide was an expert and showed such love for the information. I think overall I was looking for a faster pace, get to the spots quicker and biggest takeaways.

Excellent tour! Adriano was funny, engaging and full of knowledge. You can tell he is passionate about history and where he is from. The tour did run a little bit longer than expected, however we didn’t mind as it was a brilliant experience. Highly recommended.
