• Colosseum entry is at a fixed reserved time. Please arrive 15–20 minutes early.

• Roman Forum and Palatine Hill access valid for 24 hours.
Each traveler’s full name must match their ID or passport. Entry may be denied if the name on the booking does not match the ID.
• Valid passport or ID required for all participants.(original or digital copy) is required for all participants, including children, and must be presented at the Colosseum security check.
• Each traveler’s name must match their passport or ID.
Underground and Upper Levels are not included.
There is no live guide inside the monuments.
• Our host will meet you at Bar Pio, Via delle Terme di Tito 72, holding a blue flag.
• If you selected the photoshoot option, your visit will begin with a 30-minute professional photoshoot outside the Colosseum.

Do not book. Tour operator was late - he was only there to send us tickets on WhatsApp and was more interested in trying to upsell us other tours and was desperately trying to get us to take our photos which are “included”. We didn’t get an audio guide and were using ChatGPT to fill the gaps with what we were seeing. It was the first time I had a bad experience on viator - requested a refund and have not heard back yet. No clue what I paid for as I could have easily lined up and bought tickets there. They upcharge for unknown reasons - avoid avoid avoid.

We took the self-guided tour.The Colosseum is huge and what a remarkable architectural Accomplishment. I had no idea the size until I arrived. Many things I had imagined were proving to me to be different. The Romans were remarkable.The doer was awesome , but quite a bit tiring

This tour is worthwhile to get Admissions tickets, especially last minute. The audio piece of the self guided tour is pretty much useless.

Self-guided tour of the Colosseum

It was not worth the money. More difficult to navigate than other tours I've booked with Viator. Would not recommend the self-guided tour.

All this booking procured us was tickets. No guidance, printed or electronic, nor materials. A person walked us to the entrance line and had us pull up the electronic tickets they texted us. That was it. Electronic directions and texted directions were to two different places and neither were the entrance. I would suggest a self guide that provides audio for a self guided tour. I saw many people with that and it would have been great!
