Beatriz conducted the tour in português, per our choice, she was amazing and very knowledged. If you need a português guise she is the one.

Once in a life time event

Driver and Francesco picked us up a planned. Francesco went over what to expect going through 2 security checks. We were able to get 2nd row seats, but when Pope Leo arrived were able to squeeze up to front row. It was amazing and once in a life time event. Francesco was amazing. Would definitely recommend!!! The poor held my hand !!

Although this is a free event I wanted help with getting the tickets and seats as we are in older age now . The tour guide picked us up at 6 am on a lovely car with driver . We were taken to the line to wait for security to open . It was a long 1.5 hour wait in the cold . Our guide already had the tickets and explained to us what will be happening next. As the gate was open ever pushed forward to the security scanner . You had to behave like a Roman not British and push them away . Our guide ran ahead to get us the best seats . We were near the front to the left right next to the aisle the ope would walk to greet the people after the service . This we would not had known without the guide. Our guide stayed sat with us the shone time explained where the toilets were and explained what was being said during the service . Once the service was over the ope started walking everyone pushed to the side to get close to our barrier . Our guide held on to my seat as I could stand next to the barrier and the guide stood on my chair to get great photos for us . I managed to hold on to the popes hand and he gently cupped my hand I felt a feeling over overwhelmed love . Tears rolled down my face as I turned to face my husband he also was crying as the pope had blessed his Saint Christopher pendant . Our guide showed us the way out away from the crowds to the gift shop. He then airdropped me all the photos. This was a lot of money for a short trip but well worth it. It was once in a life time being held by the pope. You will have to make your own way back although the guide put us in a taxi . Dress warm take snacks as it is a long morning.

Our tour guide, Andrea, was on time and met every need, answering every question, and was good to our family and those around us. In a crowd of 20,000 he made it easy and tour seamless. It was everything we expected and more. We would recommend others do tours with him and we would come back as well to see the leader of the Catholic Church or any other location or event.

I’m not too sure who to thank here. I would like to thank Viator for even offering this once in a life time experience, but the true queen was Francisca. She made us power through the long queues and we had front row seats to the experience. My parents are Roman Catholics and I think they will forever be grateful to Gloria and Francisca for this beautiful and life changing experience. It is costly, but worth every penny!

Amazing - a must do experience!

This experience isn’t for the faint - but it was incredible. Francesco was so great and we felt like he was an expert. It was a very early morning with a lot of waiting in line, but so worth it to be within a few feet of Pope Leo - and I mean feet! We had a couple in our group that were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary and Francesco got a great video and photos of Pope Leo recognizing them for their accomplishment. How blessed is that? We cannot say enough about this experience and about Francesco.

Papal Audience in Rome: Front row seats to see Pope Leo XIV

Francesco picked me up in a limo at 6 am. When we arrived at the Vatican, a line had already started to form. I was concerned that I wouldn’t get a front row seat. Around 7:15 am, they released the crowd to start going through the security checkpoints. This is when Francesco’s experience really paid off. After navigating us through the quickest security line, Francesco headed to the front row where we got the two remaining seats. He also provided me with an umbrella so I wouldn’t get wet during the rain. Miraculously, it didn’t rain when Pope Leo XIV passed by us twice. Francesco took many wonderful pictures that he shared with me. Although, it was expensive, it was worth the money because I wouldn’t have been able to secure great seats on my own.

It was me, my husband, and our two kids (ages 17 and 10). Our driver, Florian, arrived right on time with our guide, Gloria. Gloria was incredibly kind, organized, and knew exactly how to navigate everything. She spoke several languages and helped bridge conversations between groups, including a lovely church group from Chile who only spoke Spanish. It really added to the feeling of a shared experience across cultures- smiles, high-fives, and friendly connections all around and truly a learning experience on multiple fronts for our kids. When security said we had to leave a large corksicle water bottle behind that we’ve been relying on, Gloria knew exactly where to leave it, and promised us it would be fine and we could come back for it with no issue. And sure enough—it was there when we came back. We had seats right up front, and great sorts for video and pictures. Gloria and Florian also helped us with luggage and pickup logistics, which we really appreciated. We loved this experience for so many reasons—great people, seamless planning, and a true sense of connection. And of course, the amazing opportunity to see the Pope up close! Tips: • Bring small water bottles and bags (it gets hot and crowded). • Pack light and dress for the weather. • Bring snacks or breakfast—it’s an early start. • Don’t forget a backup phone battery. • Most importantly, bring a good attitude and enjoy the ride!

Vatican Mass attendence experience

It was definitely on my list to attend mass if I was in Rome on a Wednesday. The tickets are free to attend this to the public however our guide did get us up to the 2nd row where we took great photos but I feel what we paid was too much. They did pick you up, attended mass and then we were on our own to get back to our hotel. Just overpriced for this compared to other Viator bookings we have used.

Simply Amazing Pope tour

Francesco picked us up in a luxury sedan . We met up with Gloria , she was saving us a spot in line at the Vatican . Gloria also went ahead of us and secured front row seats to see the Pope!! Francesco took some great pictures of us and the Pope. Francesco and Gloria stayed with us the entire time. It was a once in a lifetime experience.!! They were absolutely incredible and gave us commentary while we waited for the Pope to arrive. I 100% recommend this tour , it was the highlight of our trip to Rome !!

Once in a Lifetime Experience

Francesco was incredible!! Could not have asked for a better experience! He was able to secure front row seats to see the Pope for 4 people and we were so grateful for him and Maria! You start the day getting picked up in a large Mercedes van, followed by driving straight to the Vatican. We only waited about 20 mins in line and Francesco ran ahead to secure front row seats. It was a magnificent day filled with many good memories and I can’t recommend this tour enough! The price is well worth it. We traveled all throughout Italy and we did about 7 different tours, but this tour was by far the highlight of the trip and Francesco was amazing! If you’re thinking about the price don’t. It’s a once in a lifetime experience and this tour, the employees, and the company are all incredible!

Seeing the Pope on a screen was not what I imagined after with a 6am pick up. Our guide had a few hygiene issues. It seemed as if she was new at this. She did not have our tickets. When I asked her for the tickets she advised they were not needed. I asked for them, she called a colleague and got them for us. She wanted us to visit a store after the blessing. We advised we were done shopping.

This tour is amazing! This is a once in a lifetime experience. My mom had wanted to see the Pope in person for a long time and her wish came true. She even got to hold his hand!! 5 STARS ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️. We had the best experience!! Our guide, Giuliana, met us at our hotel and brought us to St. Peter’s Square. She waited in line with us, got us through security and into the 2nd row to enjoy our Papal Audience Tour. Her knowledge of Vatican City and Rome was immense, it was like having a history professor and google at our fingertips. She was such a pleasure to listen to and spend time with. Would do it again 100%.

This was amazing! Our two guides were incredible. They knew exactly where to sit in the audience so we would have front row viewing of the Pope! The crowds are huge for this event. With the two guides, one was able to run and get us seats up front so we didn’t have to fight the crowds. The Pope was so close and he even stopped right in front of us. The two guides were also knowledgeable about the history of the Vatican too. This was the highlight of our trip to Rome! I would recommend this to anyone who wants to see the Pope on their trip.

We had a perfect experience with this tour. Everything went according to the description. Our private guide Stephan picked up our family at our rented apartment and drove us to St. Peter's Square where met 2 other small groups and got in line waiting for security to open. This company knew exactly where to sit and accompanied us through the line and to the recommended seats. We were within a few feet of the Pope when he passed by slowly in his open car, and we had an unobstructed view. Waiting for the gates to open is somewhat chaotic, with people from all over the world speaking many languages and not knowing where to go or how the entry process works. There isn't good signage to direct attendees. This is where the company's experts were so valuable. They knew exactly what to do, where to go, and what was happening at all times. We never had a doubt. They stayed by our side through the event and escorted us afterward to the gift shop with VIP access to a special room with original mosaics and quality gold/silver pieces (you can just look; no pressure to buy). We also had an opportunity to use a small private restroom at that time which is sometimes hard to find in Rome. While this was an expensive event, it meant a lot to our family to see the Pope up close. I understand from other reviews that it's possible to get the tickets and close seats without hiring a guide. However, Stephan took all of the stress and worry away and ensured an excellent once in a lifetime experience, so it was well worth it.

What a memorable morning Stephano and his team created for our family so that we had front row seats to see Pope Francis at the weekly Papal Audience! It was a very early morning, but the private pickup at our hotel and drop off at the Vatican made the experience more manageable for our children. After waiting in line together, we were guided to just the right spot to see the Pope, which made the early wake up so very worth it. This is a wonderful tour group if you and your family want optimal seats at the Wednesday Papal Audience. And, Stephan was just lovely and we very much enjoyed his company all morning.
