- All of our written materials are also available in Spanish, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. We will do our best to accommodate, but cannot guarantee, Japanese, Korean, Spanish or Chinese speaking-instructors without enough advance notice.
- Complimentary transportation is available from select locations in Waikiki. Exact pick-up location and time will be emailed to you by the supplier. If you do not receive these details 24 hours prior to your lesson, please contact Ohana Surf Project.

The staff and the experience itself is so much fun. Our instructor Matt was the best! He was encouraging and helpful. 10/10 recommend trying surfing, even with no prior experience.

Tyler and the rest of the crew were super helpful and very attentive. They made sure that we were able to catch some waves and made sure we got up and had a great time. Went with my 9 yr old daughter and wife and everyone was catching waves in no time. The pictures and videos they took helped create memories that will last a lifetime. The surf died down towards the end of our time, but they made sure we caught 1 last good wave before heading back in. I would highly recommend this adventure if you're looking to create a lifetime of memories in Hawaii!

It was the first time for me and my son to try surfing and all the staff were very friendly. Our instructor Kevin especially was very experienced and professional. We had so much fun in a safe environment! Definitely will come again next time!

Kevin our instructor was amazing! We are a family of 4 with no prior surfing experience and he was able to handle our 2 active kids, also the staff guard, surf photographer and the transportation were smooth and fun!

It was our first time surfing and we were comfortable and had so much fun.
Coach and the entire team was amazing. I was the oldest in the group (including my kids) and Coach and Ryan were super attentive and ensured that I didn’t get hurt and enjoyed myself.
The team promoted connection that made the entire group of first time surfers and total strangers comfortable and supporting each other.
From the time we checked in until the check out, every staff member was friendly and professional.

Our trio had a fantastic time surfing with OSP. No one in our group knew how to surf going into it but Matt, Brady and the rest of the instructors did a great job at making sure the group understood what to do and when to do it. All three of us were able to get up on the board and ride the waves quite a few times. Everyone was kind and gave us plenty of encouragement throughout the time in the ocean.
The fact we had a secure way to keep our personal items safe while we surfed was great, as was the shuttle from the hotel meeting spot to the beach. The post show showing us the photos and videos of everyone wiping out and riding waves was a nice touch as well. Overall a 5/5 star experience and great first time surfing.

You have to be in reasonably good shape to really enjoy this. It’s quite a workout but the guides will take care of you regardless. Our instructor, Connor, was awesome but all the instructors helped too. Watching my kid take to this was the best part. He said hands down this was the coolest thing he’s ever done.

We wanted to say we surfed at Waikiki Beach. We are in our 40s and not particularly athletic and with Marco's instruction and help, we were able catch some waves. The photography was also amazing and I'll have memories to cherish forever. 10/10 would get another lesson from Marco and the folks at OSP

The people at Ohana Surf Project were helpful, supportive, and laid back. Maddie in the office was more than willing to answer any questions and help with anything before the trip. Our lesson was with Kevin and he was supportive and encouraging and told us exactly what we needed to do to get up and have the best surfing experience. He was knowledgeable and chose the waves that would give us the best chance. Chelsea was taking photos/videos also gave advice on surfing. We had a semi private lesson which meant that there were two of us in our group with one instructor and about three other groups with their instructors sharing the same space. The instructors would all look out for the group in terms of safety but they focused their lessons only on their students. We had an awesome time, everyone got up on the board who wanted to, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a surf lesson, especially beginners.

Instructors were excellent, helped us catch good waves, gave specific feedback, and got us two never before surfers multiple waves! I thought the time was perfect! My back was tired, but they helped us paddle sometimes when noticing we were tired. I had a lot of fun! We went when it was slightly rainy, but i didn’t notice the rain at all so it was a great rainy day activity. Our instructor, Mark is very experienced. He was doing the best to help us surf as much as possible. My son and I had so much fun! We took semi private lesson but was at the same time with the group lesson. The other instructors are very good as well. Everyone is super friendly and helpful!

What a blast! These amazing people took personalized care of all 15 of us (friends and family). Some of us had surfed before, but most of us were "newbies", and we ALL had a fantastic time! Shawn, in particular, spoke with each of us and helped us feel comfortable and confident. They had a whole team there to help us get in multiple runs, and "toed us in" (yes, literally pulled our board behind theirs using only their toes) up to the next wave when we got tired. FANTASTIC! Do this even if you are scared to... you won't regret it... it's easier than you think!

This place was amazing! From the hotel pick up, to the people in the office and of course the amazing instructors. We really couldn’t have picked a better experience for me and my son (8 years old). We did a two hour lesson and it was the perfect amount of time to learn the basics and then get a ton of time with the instructor on the water. Mark was absolutely great with our son. I (36 years old) was able to learn quickly as well and then take breaks as needed. I would recommend this for anyone with kids who want to try surfing and learn in a fast and fun environment.

1st time surfing for our family of 5. All the coaches were friendly and helpful. We all managed to catch a few waves. I was impressed that the coaches remembered everyone's name. It was so convent to be picked up and dropped off near our hotel. The photo package is extra but worth it - we got photos and videos of all 5 of us. My 11 year old is so excited to try surfing again.
