Your day begins at Hale’iwa Boat Harbor, where you can meet the crew, board your boat, and set off on an adventure through Oahu’s clear waters. Get inside a floating cage and visit an area where Galapagos and Sandbar sharks live in the wild.
To ensure it's a safe and stress-free experience, the crew is there to guide you, and all snorkeling equipment is provided, so you can travel light.
Stay on the surface with your snorkel and mask, then have a chance to look through polyglass windows to watch the sharks. It's an ideal activity for those who don’t have scuba diving experience, as no experience or certification is required to take part.
As well as having a memorable wildlife encounter, you can also broaden your knowledge, as the crew provides commentary about shark biology and behavior.
After spending around two hours exploring the natural shark habitat, the trip finishes back at the harbor.

Absolutely amazing experience! The sharks aren't as deadly as I thought. I was able to get close and personal with them in the cage. The guides were very friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend to try this. It was my first time and I loved it !

My 16 year old daughter and I had the best experience ever! The crew was very helpful and friendly. We saw three 14 foot long tiger sharks! It was amazing! I highly recommend this excursion!

This was an amazing experience for my husband and I he was very reluctant to go but you guys made us feel calm and were very friendly provided us with plenty of information and facts about the sharks. We have been telling everyone they need to try it at least once.

Booked a 10:00am, but got to the dock early so we were able to take the 7:00am ride.. crew were so nice, helpful, make this experience the best to remember, even though I got sea sick, but I was still
able to see sharks.. this was one off my bucket list. Thankyou for this awesome experience

Amazing experience! Adam and his partner were great! The waters were rough on the way out and when we attached to the shark cage, but we expected that going 3 miles into open water on the north shore of Oahu. If you get sea sick, take Dramamine or wear pressure point wrist bands. We saw 3 Galapagos sharks (8-9 feet long) and a big barracuda. Had plenty of time in the water. I recommend buying a $30 underwater camera off amazon before going so you can record video and snap pics of the sharks underwater. My 10 year old son loved it. My 8 year old was too nervous to get in the water and my 5 year old daughter got in twice but found the water too rough to stay in. Captain Adam was great with helping her to get in and out. They rinsed us off with warm fresh water when we got out so we were able to enjoy the north shore without feeling salty or having to take a cold shower back at the harbor. Highly recommend, ten out of ten!

Captain Adam, Keika and the sharks were incredible! Waves were wild but Captain Adam was obviously very experienced and we felt very safe. There were more sharks than expected which made for a wild, likely once in a lifetime experience.

I booked the shark cage experience on Oahu and it turned out to be one of the best things I’ve done on the island. The crew was professional, friendly, and clearly knew what they were doing. They explained everything before we got in the water, made sure everyone felt safe, and kept the vibe fun the whole time.
Once in the cage, the water was clear and the sharks came in close enough for amazing photos. It never felt dangerous—just exciting. If you’re looking for something unique and unforgettable, this is absolutely worth it.

The staff was friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. Ken and Hunter took great care of us and thoroughly prepared us for what to expect, which made the experience feel both exciting and safe.
There were about eight Galápagos sharks circling the cage, and they seemed just as curious about us as we were about them. The water was a little choppy around the cage, but if anything, it made the adventure even more memorable.
My 12-year-old son absolutely loved the experience, and seeing his excitement made it even more special. If you’re considering this excursion, don’t hesitate—it is an unforgettable experience and an absolute must-do.

What an incredible experience, but be sure to take your motion, sickness pills. They say the earliest trip is the best and most likely for calmer waters. We took the 10 AM trip and the waves were rocking. You get thrashed around pretty good in the cage and don’t use the snorkel because the water would just go into the top tube but holding your breath and going underwater, you see the most incredible sharks and we even saw a barracuda! Highly recommend and even if you don’t think you need them to take some motion, sickness pills!

Get this like no matter what telling you. The price don't even matter after you get out on the water. Today I got into caleb’s crew I forgot the other person name sorry for that but if you get these two that’s your guide your in luck. Super chill funny people too told us about sharks what we need to know about them and what not to do in the cage. Somehow today was my last day in hawaii and decided to do this, we went out on the boat and a large pod of dolphins appeared in front of us rare too see ngl. The shark cage was amazing saw lots of shark and a few yellow tail. The waves do have some kick too it I was getting thrown into the bars that was fun for me. But big shout out to the crew and the company would definitely come back here again.

The trip was as advertised. Luckily, the weather was perfect. The guides were friendly, informative and interesting. The Sharks were plentiful and amazing, of course. I am fearful of water but I never felt uncomfortable or endangered. I always look at reviews and the negative ones that I read, for the most part, were out of the company's control. You have to remember you are in a natural environment where conditions are unpredictable, if you want predictability go to Disneyland. Also, who vacations on an island and depends on Uber to take you across the island? Maybe stay at your resort pool. As for my personal experience with this company and with the Excursion I have no complaints. My fellow passengers all seem to enjoy their time as well. I did like that it didn't take up the entire day, a quick 2-hour round trip with amazing animals, and I was able to get on with my day.

Great shark encounter with the Galapagos sharks (about 10 of them) and a female Tiger shark! Also saw a barracuda and yellow fin tuna! On the way out to the cage we saw a pod of Hawaiian Spinner Dolphins jumping the wake of our boat! Ephraim and Jax were very informative and friendly! The entire group enjoyed themselves!!! Thanks!
