Your day begins at Hale’iwa Boat Harbor, where you can meet the crew, board your boat, and set off on an adventure through Oahu’s clear waters. Get inside a floating cage and visit an area where Galapagos and Sandbar sharks live in the wild.
To ensure it's a safe and stress-free experience, the crew is there to guide you, and all snorkeling equipment is provided, so you can travel light.
Stay on the surface with your snorkel and mask, then have a chance to look through polyglass windows to watch the sharks. It's an ideal activity for those who don’t have scuba diving experience, as no experience or certification is required to take part.
As well as having a memorable wildlife encounter, you can also broaden your knowledge, as the crew provides commentary about shark biology and behavior.
After spending around two hours exploring the natural shark habitat, the trip finishes back at the harbor.

So Reese and Ephraim were absolutely fantastic ! Great knowledge , great jokes , and awesome information about sharks. They were so polite and helpful , especially when helping my poor husband who we found out just today has motion sickness lol 🤦🏻♀️… they were so kind , spraying him down with water to cool him off on his head , trying to get his mind off of things , and showing him where to let loose if needed lol. The sharks we saw ( Galapagos sharks ) , so cool ! There were so many to see , it was absolutely a beautiful sight. So please if you do any excursion , do this one !!!

Our tour guides where really cool and knowledgeable. On the ride out there was some wind and waves nothing too bad. Just not a bad idea to take nausea medication before hand !! Lots of sharks and it was amazing. In the cage you need to really hold on the the bar so you dont get hit against the cage.
This was a lot of fun. It was worth the cost. Recommended to go early in the morning before winds pick up.
It’s was a great experience highly recommend , the captains were very thorough with explaining everything

The guides were friendly, knowledge, and made us feel felt safe. There were lots of sharks and LARGE ones. Highly recommend it. Very worth it.

The trip was awesome! It was completely safe and the operation runs so smooth! The guys running the boat were professional, knowledgeable, and fun! Plan ahead if you get sea sick easily, then pack breath mints for the boat, and take meclizine or Dramamine an hr before the boat departure. The experience was amazing and I could not have been more happy with it! We loved it so well l, we went twice!!!

Amazing experience, we were able to see 2 Galapagos and 1 tiger. Also we shared cage with just 2 more people which made it very convenient and easy to take pictures. You feel save the whole time and would recommend to take the earliest hour

The experience was amazing! I would say definitely go on a calmer day if you are prone to motion sickness as the boat is smaller and I was fighting for my life lol. The boat ride to the cage was honestly super fun as well, the experience as a whole was like no other. I was basically face-to-face with a 6 to 8ft shark as well as a huge baracuda. Very very cool and so worth it.

I wish there was an option for more than 5 stars. This was nothing short of amazing, one that the family will never forget. The crew were fantastic and we had ample time in the cage to really soak it all in. There were plenty of sharks to see including a couple of tiger sharks! There is a nice local shopping area close by for some retail therapy before and / or after too!

This was one of my daughter's excursion wish items. So glad we did it. Although my other daughter's fear made her hesitate, she was willing to give it a go because of the cage & plex glass. Both were thrilled with the outing. We moved our original disembark time at Shark Adventure's recommendation dure to higher wind forecasts & I think we lucked out with amazing conditions and time in the water with tiger & galopagos sharks!

The trip was an awesome experience. Not a lot of sharks on the day I went but that’s just how these things go. We did have 2 nice tiger sharks that hung around the entire trip. Very cool experience. The crew were amazing. Both guys were very knowledgeable and gave us a great trip. I would recommend anyone to book with these guys. They’re great.

It was an experience of a lifetime. We got to see three tiger sharks, a smaller Galapagos shark, and barracuda. Capt Miles and Josh were great from start to finish. They made it super comfortable for everyone and positive vibes the entire time.

Super safe and fun for kids, teens, adults and grandparents. The hosts were great! One tip is the earlier the better for less waves and an easier ride.

My 16 year old daughter and I had the best experience ever! The crew was very helpful and friendly. We saw three 14 foot long tiger sharks! It was amazing! I highly recommend this excursion!

Booked a 10:00am, but got to the dock early so we were able to take the 7:00am ride.. crew were so nice, helpful, make this experience the best to remember, even though I got sea sick, but I was still
able to see sharks.. this was one off my bucket list. Thankyou for this awesome experience

Amazing experience! Adam and his partner were great! The waters were rough on the way out and when we attached to the shark cage, but we expected that going 3 miles into open water on the north shore of Oahu. If you get sea sick, take Dramamine or wear pressure point wrist bands. We saw 3 Galapagos sharks (8-9 feet long) and a big barracuda. Had plenty of time in the water. I recommend buying a $30 underwater camera off amazon before going so you can record video and snap pics of the sharks underwater. My 10 year old son loved it. My 8 year old was too nervous to get in the water and my 5 year old daughter got in twice but found the water too rough to stay in. Captain Adam was great with helping her to get in and out. They rinsed us off with warm fresh water when we got out so we were able to enjoy the north shore without feeling salty or having to take a cold shower back at the harbor. Highly recommend, ten out of ten!

Captain Adam, Keika and the sharks were incredible! Waves were wild but Captain Adam was obviously very experienced and we felt very safe. There were more sharks than expected which made for a wild, likely once in a lifetime experience.
