Top Oahu Horseback Riding

Wonderful, relaxing, peaceful. Our guides Kayley and Sydnee were splendid. Sydnee was the lead and Kayley was closer to the back where I was. Kayley engaged with everyone in our group. She made it a point to talk with all 12 or so in the group. Very enthusiastic and extremely personable. The trail was fairly flat, but it had been raining for several days and Kayley mentioned that we were taking an alternate path because the usual one takes riders uphill which is too slippery and hard on the horses. The horses were tame and appeared well taken care of. I’ve been of a half dozen or so riding experiences and what I liked was that the horses wore “feed bags” so they weren’t tempted to go off trail to graze on things. It made it much easier for the novice riders. The horses stayed on the trail with very little to no direction. If you’re expecting a easy, slow paced ride this is for you. I recommend it for anyone who is a first timer, youngsters, elderly, or just wanting something new and different. The view was ok. Perhaps, had we taken the higher trail the view may have been more impressive. Overall, the people were very friendly and welcoming. Our guides Kayley and Sydnee were excellent!

We had a great time on our ride. My husband and I did the Sweetheart ride. I hadn’t been on a horse in 30 years but the wranglers do a job of making it easy for you and the horses are super laid back. We rode up to a beautiful spot, had lunch then rode back. I recommend this ranch.

That it is amazing and the guides are top tier. Our guide Alanna was a complete sweetheart, who was full of amazing information about the history of the ranch, the island, and all of Hawaii. If we ever comeback to Hawaii we will definitely be making a stop here again. And will ask for Alanna again.
