My adult children had an amazing time. I enjoyed watching them on the board. Lol
Kevin did a great job assisting them with getting up and riding the waves. Tim also assisted but could have been a little more involved in helping them get up. Both Kevin and Tim were helpful and assisted me by pulling my board as this is a muchore strenuous activity then I expected. All in all I would recommend this to anyone wanting to try out surfing.

Nate G and Kierran W were fantastic instructors for our Waikiki surf lesson. As complete beginners, my daughters and I felt supported the entire time and we were thrilled that each of us managed to ride a few waves. The spot was easy to get to, and the lesson was well-paced and fun. A great experience from start to finish.

Everything is provided and there are lockers to store your items. The instructors are great and there is a photographer with the group capturing amazing photos to purchase afterwards. My daughters loved this experience- first time surfing!

We enjoyed our experience. Chaz was kind, knowledgeable and his experience with beginners showed. He did an excellent job with the instructions. The entire staff was helpful and assisted in any way possible.

This was a great experience for my son. He is 17 and this was his first attempt at surfing. His instructor Justice was great with him. Gave him very good instruction and got him up and riding the board quickly! Justice was very professional, friendly and a wonderful instructor. We will definitely come back and would recommend this surfing lesson to everyone.

Joey & Justice were really patient with our group. They got us into a lot of waves. It was an incredible experience for our family. I would highly recommend taking a lesson. Super fun!!!!

I came to this facility because most only allowed semi private lessons or group or if it was private lessons, they cost almost 200 per person. I could get 3 of us in for a private lesson at 123$ each which was less than the others. None of us had surfed before.
We met Trey and Keith, they were excellent and supportative. I had such a great time. I wanted it do it again. I got up a little and Im almost 60 yrs old. If I can do it you can too.. If I lived here Id be taking lessons every day. Im sorry our time ended. I believe Maggie took pictures and she was fantastic at capturing moments and memories.
I waited a day called to book another session and didn't get a call back, this was disappointing, but over all this was the most fun I had. You won't come out pfo, but they will teach you what you need to practice if you want that to be your goal. I at least have the basics and hope to ride a wave with you guys when I come back. Dane and Ethan did a great job with our family. We managed to get up and surfing within a short amount of time and really had an enjoyable experience. We also got great photographs, which we weren't expecting.

Surfing is SO MUCH FUN. I booked a private lesson for me and my husband. Staff was super nice and chill, and we loved our instructor. We alternated catching waves so the instructor could time each wave right for both of us. I can see how surfing would be much harder without someone taking care of the timing, but I’m excited to try!

Amazing! The instructor was clear and very knowledgeable. Encouraged my daughter (14) to do all the waves she could. He was able to see a potential dangerous wave and held her back without making a big deal out of it or stressing her out. She had a blast and hasn't stopped begging to do it again!

We had so much fun during our lesson with Joey. He was both laid back and encouraging, and a great fit for our family. It was all of our first time surfing, and we had a blast even at our skill level. I’m so glad we booked these lessons. Sea turtle sightings were a fun bonus!

Wow, just wow! This is honestly the highlight of our trip so far! We’re a family of 5 with the youngest being 8yr old and we had a fabulous time. Our guides were Alex and Justice and they were so knowledgeable, helpful and strong - as they had to paddle my youngest and husband out and back most of the time. LOL. I wasn’t sure if we were really going to catch a wave and surf, but was excited for the experience. However we ALL caught waves multiple times and surfed. It was absolutely amazing. Alex stayed with our youngest the entire time which allowed the rest of us to enjoy the experience and not have to worry about him. Actually he ended up catching the most waves. I highly recommend Stoke Surf School! A must do when visiting Hawaii!

The instructors were patient and kept things really simple! They didn't give up on us and we successfully rode 3 waves! This was an awesome experience and they took great care of my 9-year-old son! Definitely recommend Stone Drift to Amy beginner looking for an easy, stress-free surfing experience!

My son and his girlfriend (first-time surfer) had a great experience learning to surf in their private lesson together. Most of their time was spent on the water with their instructor providing excellent on-task, individual, instruction. Both kids rode waves during their lesson. My wife and I viewed the whole thing from our Waikiki hotel room lanai, too! Highly recommend!

This was a fantastic lesson for my brother and I to experience first time surfing! The private, group setting provided focused attention on both of us. We spent most of our time on the water and the result was that we both got up and enjoyed riding the waves!! Highly recommend!

I was disappointed with our instructor. He was young and didn’t give us much instruction. He also spent most of his time with my beautiful daughter. There was another lesson going on next to us with an older instructor who was much more involved. Not worth my money.

We had a great time learning to surf. Keith was so awesome and patient with us. He helped tremendously and my daughter was surfing in no time. The area we took lessons was not too crowded which helped me feel less nervous.
