From start to finish this was exceptional. The staff were chill and funny. They were very informative and were ready for a great time! There was only 12 people on our boat which was incredible. I love the small quantity! Complimentary drinks were available. These guides were amazing! 10/10 and would use this company again for sure

For a first time snorklerand basic swimmer diving into 50 ft of water was always going to be scary
But the crew made it seem so easy with lots of protection
And the whole experience was fun and was able to see turtles come up to the surface to breath , hammer head sharks and eels at the bottom
Definitely will recommend these guys for beginner snorkeling

Couldn’t see 5 feet in front of you the water was so murky, got to see a turtle for less than two minutes total after paying 160$. You’re crowded with like 50 other people all scrambling to get a view of a turtle that’s there and gone before you know it. They tell you they will take pictures of you with the sea turtle but it’s just not possible in the 2 minutes of total sea turtle time for everyone to even get a chance to see the turtle let alone get pictures with it. Save your money and just go snorkeling at any other beach, you will see everything you get to see on this tour but better because you can actually see all around you and not just 5 feet in open water.

The limited visibility that day was caused by ocean swell, which can stir up sand and sediment and reduce water clarity. While Turtle Canyon is typically known for its clear water and amazing turtle encounters, ocean conditions can change from day to day, and unfortunately that’s something beyond our control.
We understand how disappointing it is when visibility isn’t ideal, especially when you’re looking forward to snorkeling and taking photos. Our crew always does their best to help guests safely find turtles and capture memorable moments, but when the water is murky those opportunities can be much more limited.
Please let our photographer know if you would no longer like your photos and we can get that photo money back to you.
We appreciate your feedback and hope you’ll consider joining us again in the future when the ocean is calmer so you can experience Turtle Canyon at its best.

I am so happy we booked with Island Splash Tours, this was the best snorkelling experience I’ve had! Not only did we have the opportunity to see so many turtles during the tour but the guides were so knowledgeable on all the fish as well and had a variety of fun facts to share with us during the experience. I did not get in water too choppy and felt too anxious. Did have life vest but didn't feel comfortable. Daughter and family did snorkel. Lots of fish. Current was strong in afternoon

The crew is super friendly, informative and attentive. My niece has wanted to swim with turtles. I am terribly afraid of putting my face in the water so snorkeling isn't on my top anything to do list. I wanted to make her happy and so I went. I made the crew aware of my fear and the inexperience of my niece in the water. The calm supportive attitude was amazing. Her dream of seeing turtles off of the checklist now.

We saw many turtles as promised. The crew was very friendly and knowledgable. The amount of people on the boat was not excessive but once you got to the area with the turtles many boats anchored and there were a lot of people floating about. The crew did a nice job of keeping us a distance from other groups.

Very nice polite staff as soon as you step on the boat. Very welcoming make you feel at home on the boat. Help you with everything get you all set up, help you wth any questions. Help you once your in the water, if you need it. My wife got sea sick didn't feel comfortable in the water, they helped her out made her feel good as you can in that situation. They got buckets.lol.. Very good experience. You see multiple turtles, lot of different fish. Had a good time..

Loved and enjoyed this trip as a not so good swimmer. I felt safe and enjoyed the moment. The crew was very nice, informative and helpful. We did see see turtles, starfish, and a mini reef shark like a foot long and sea urgent. The boat ride was only 8 min long, and the water was super clear.

Great staff!! They are very nice and informative … we got to see so many turtles and fishes … I got seasick while in the water and staff were king enough to paddle me back to the boat.. I would definitely recommend booking with this staff. I can’t to see our pictures!

Very experienced crew. Boat was modern and very clean. Crew was also excellent when it came to safety of the passengers and top notch when it came to knowledge of the ocean and the overall tour. Oh and make sure to get the pictures from the photographer. 5 stars for sure.

1. excellent company guides: pleasant, friendly, respectful of turtles.
2. did feel crowded at times as we had over 25 tourists in our experience, and the snorkeling expedition companies all go to the same place.... we had other company's tourists intermingled with ours at times.
3. my teenage kids got tired of seeing the turtles before ending.
some people in the group did see a manta ray, but i missed it.
4. NOT a tour to see colorful coral.
5. WILL see turtles and many fish.

The staff for this tour were absolutely amazing and so fun, so nice, and incredibly helpful the whole time. That part of the experience was fantastic and not at all what this review is about.
My honest feedback is about the headcount in the water. I’ve snorkeled plenty and never felt claustrophobic until this trip. I got hit by fins at basically every point on my body and ended up bruised. It’s not the staff’s fault at all; they were doing their best. But with that many people in the water at once, it just felt overcrowded and hard to enjoy or even move through comfortably. I’d really encourage lowering the group size so people have room to actually experience the turtles without getting kicked the entire time. Anyway, definitely worth it!

Staff were very friendly, easy-going and great with my 11 year-old child. As the parent, I had no experience snorkelling. But I was put to ease watching staff assist my Daughter in remaining calm throughout the experience. We thoroughly appreciated every moment.

The guides were excellent in leading us and showing us lots of swimming turtles. We didn’t see that many fish though. They were also really patient and offered me an extra float to hold on to when I expressed some hesitancy getting in the water. I did find the swimming difficult, as there was an ocean current when we were trying to get back to the boat.
