    How to taste the coffee properly

    This was a fun experience. You meet at the bottom floor of the shop. I wished they taught everyone how to taste something, luckily my group went to a Rum tasting the day before and they taught us. Smell with your mouth open, this allows the flavors to hit your tastebuds before you drink. Then take a drink and let the liquids go over different parts of your mouth before swallowing it. Once you swallow then breath through your nose. This allows you to fully taste and experience the coffee and truly get those flavor profiles. Experience lasted about 35mins.

    Very informative! There was 4 of us bc cc tc. We all drink coffee and wanted to learn about something we enjoy and get a glimpse at behind the scenes of what is involved especially in this locale. We learned a lot about coffee growing and processing from our host who is very knowledgeable and experienced in coffee and Kona coffee in particular. Got to taste test 3 different coffees . Very casual and fun!

    Learned a lot about coffee. How they grow it. On what the difference between roasted and light roasted. The taste notes. The ocean view is gorgeous going to Kona coffee.
